„We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!”

„Très bel hôtel avec sa plage privée. Personnel très sympathique et agréable. Dommage qu’en étant client cela ne soit pas inclus dans la chambre d’hôtel. La chambre où nous étions (108) était un peu bruyante : on entend les portes qui claquent et aussi de temps en temps les climatiseurs à l’extérieur.”

„We stayed at Gram Suites for 4 nights. The location is very convenient—about a 10-minute walk from the metro/train station and just a few minutes from the bus stop to the city center, which made getting around Naples really easy for us. Max, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful. We really appreciated his warm hospitality and quick responses to any questions we had. The room itself is cleaned daily, which is a nice hotel touch, but the overall vibe feels a bit more like a hostel or Airbnb: cozy and casual rather than super polished. There were a couple of issues during our stay (sorry Max, we were too shy to mention these in person): Noise: The room is close to a road, so it can get quite noisy at night. If you are sensitive to noise like my friend, I would definitely recommend bringing earplugs (she could barely sleep) Mosquitoes: We had quite a few mosquitoes in the room and ended up killing 1–2 every day. Despite using mosquito spray, both my friend and I got bitten several times. Strangely, we didn’t have this problem anywhere else in Naples.”

„酒店離Forio港口五分鐘車程，酒店會免費接送。這裏設施完善，不僅有絕好視角的海景，還有免費泳池和天然温泉，同時提供洗衣，SPA等付費服務。我們訂的帶露台的海景房，有完美的視角看海上的日落。你也可以不訂海景房，因為公共露台有足夠的地方可以用。酒店餐廳的飯菜樣式，味道和性價比也不錯，可以完全滿足需求，我們的早餐和晚飯都在餐廳吃的。 Ischia島離那不勒斯市區坐船50分鐘，是個火山島。島上公交，出租車，租車，酒店，温泉，沙灘，植物園，應有盡有。遊客主要是德國人，英國人，以及意大利本地人，雖然島上開發充分，在中國卻一點不熱門，我們在國慶期間住了兩天，沒有遇到一箇中國人。我們遇到了來自以色列，捷克，美國，英國，以及德國的遊客，很多人都在島上住一週以上，大家來這裏都不是為了打卡熱門景點，而是放鬆和休息。我們跟他們聊天，也跟島上的居民聊天，可惜我們沒有時間住更久。 最大的驚喜來自老闆Giampaolo，他對每個人都很熱情，對我們尤其熱情，他説我們是他很長時間裏見到的第一個中國人，希望有更多中國人來這裏玩。在辦理入住時和我們聊了大半個小時，給我們講他被登封市官方邀請訪問中國的經歷和當時的照片和視頻，講他對少林寺，民歌和其他中國文化的興趣。他親自帶我們看房間，泡温泉，還有詳盡地介紹了島上的景點，交通，餐廳等等。 Giampaolo給我們講述他的家族從十五世紀開始如何擁有這片土地，如何一路變遷到如今經營酒店的故事。還給我們介紹了他的祖父母，父母和兄弟姐妹的情況，分享他對家庭，生活，事業的理解。Giampaolo告訴我們，他們家在山頂有自己的葡萄莊園，酒店用自己種的葡萄釀酒。每週五他會帶賓客到山上參觀他的莊園，開Party，每週二酒店餐廳會有當地藝術家演奏曼陀鈴和吉他，每週日會有舞會Party。我們很遺憾錯過了週二和週五的活動，又幸運地參加了週日的舞會。在舞會上Giampaolo是絕對的主角。他在舞會上也照顧到每一個人，不管你是跳舞老手還是像我一樣四肢僵硬，都可以在一起跳舞。他自己享受其中，也讓每一個人享受其中。就像他説的，重要的不是舞步技巧，是自由和快樂。我們開玩笑説，他開這個酒店，就是為了讓全世界的人來陪他玩。 Giampaolo談話很真誠並且眉飛色舞。你可以看出，他不僅把經營酒店當做工作，還當做事業和熱愛。他每天都在前台和員工一起工作，跟每個賓客交談，每週組織三次集體活動。他就是一個work hard play harder的生動例子。 最後他還送我們去港口買票坐船，和我們告別。 我向每一個人推薦那不勒斯，推薦Ischia島，推薦Giampaolo和他的酒店Hotel Terme Providence。”
