„The room was really good for what we needed. Was just hard washing dishes in the bathroom. The lift was broken, which is out of your control, however it would have made it easier to be able to access the stairs. Other than that, thanks for the stay, would recommend”

„It's a great experience. The value for money is there and the location is wonderful with next to zero noise at night. Staff is friendly and helpful and daily housekeeping is on point. It would be better to provide body lotion in the room, and TV produce some flashing light from the back after turning off can be slightly troublesome. I also try the food, they have daily deals and happy hours.”

„The Angus Inn is ideally situated. It's directly opposite the Queensgate Mall and only a few minutes walk from the Lower Hutt Bowling Club where we were attending a function. The Inn has all the facilities that you need such as a laundry and a restaurant. The booking went like clockwork with no hassles. An enjoyable stay.”

„Jako hotel średniej lub wyższej klasy należący do grupy Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton Wellington spełnił moje oczekiwania. Hotel szczyci się doskonałą lokalizacją, w samym sercu tętniącego życiem centrum Wellington, tuż po drugiej stronie ulicy od stacji kolejki linowej, którą koniecznie trzeba zobaczyć, i w zasięgu spaceru od większości atrakcji Wellington (choć centrum Wellington jest małe, więc spacerowicze nie powinni go przegapić). Ze względu na wiek hotelu nie mogę dać mu maksymalnej oceny za udogodnienia, ale wnętrze jest artystycznie zaprojektowane – zwłaszcza winda, która jest dość wyjątkowa. Obsługa, począwszy od ciasteczka, które zawsze otrzymujemy w DoubleTree by Hilton, jest satysfakcjonująca, a komunikacja sprawna i szybka. Śniadanie to standardowy bufet kontynentalny, z ograniczonym wyborem i przeciętnym smakiem, więc nie będę go szczegółowo komentować (kawa była w porządku). Jedynym minusem jest to, że niektóre pokoje nie były sprzątane na najwyższym poziomie. Wokół stanowisk pracy widoczne było nagromadzenie kurzu, co nie wpłynęło na ogólną użyteczność, ale negatywnie wpłynęło na wygląd. Mam nadzieję, że problem ten zostanie rozwiązany w przyszłości. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, pobyt był przyjemny i satysfakcjonujący. *Uwaga: Prosimy pamiętać, że przy zameldowaniu pobierana jest kaucja w wysokości 50 NZD za noc (kaucja ta może zostać wykorzystana na pokrycie innych wydatków poniesionych podczas pobytu). Ponieważ wymagamy karty kredytowej (członkowie Hilton Honors), akceptujemy wyłącznie karty płatnicze; płatności zbliżeniowe, takie jak Apple Pay, nie są akceptowane. Prosimy o przygotowanie tego przed przyjazdem. (Kolejna anegdota z mojego zameldowania: Podczas mojego pobytu w pobliżu Wellington, około 40 km od epicentrum, miało miejsce trzęsienie ziemi o magnitudzie 4,5. Leżąc w łóżku, czułem lekkie drżenie przez kilka sekund. Jednak kiedy zapytałem o to personel recepcji przy wyjeździe, odpowiedzieli, że nic nie poczuli. Wygląda na to, że Nowozelandczycy podchodzą do wulkanów i trzęsień ziemi ze spokojem.)”

„Stayed one night at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor for a conference held onsite. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has three separate lift banks servicing different areas — if you’re unfamiliar with Wellington, definitely ask staff to explain the easiest exit route to the city. It makes a big difference. Breakfast was a very large buffet with plenty of options, though I’ve experienced better quality elsewhere. The hotel itself is older but has solid bones. Perfectly adequate for a work overnight stay. For personal travel I’d probably choose somewhere with more atmosphere, however it felt safe and comfortable. One odd feature: some rooms face an internal terrace/window area — remember to close your curtains as people can see straight in. Bed was clean and well made, the room was tidy, though the carpet is showing its age. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water — a highlight. Overall: reliable, practical conference accommodation rather than a destination stay.”

„I love this place! The beds are very comfy, and the bathroom is very spacious and clean. It’s great that the hotel can arrange parking for you at Wilson Car Park, which is just beside the hotel this makes everything so much more convenient. The location is within walking distance of most tourist destinations such as Cuba Street, Willis Lane, the Waterfront, Beehive,Wellington cable car,and Te Papa Museum so u dont need much driving around the town just to explore as u can do all of it by just walking from the hotel. It’s also close to many restaurants and convenience stores. The staff are amazing and very helpful! I also love the Nespresso machine in the room. I will definitely come back and book here again next time!”

„Hotel dla lokalizacji naprawdę. Idealny dla wczesnego ranka lotu. Wygląd z okna na obszar budowy poniżej nie jest wielki, ale nie zostaje tutaj dla widoków. Ładne gładkie check-in i check-out, nawet o 5 rano.”

„We have always enjoyed staying at QT Museum Hotel. We were given the option to upgrade to a Seaview room on the top floor with an additional charge. Seeing it is a more quiet room compared to my booking request on the 1st floor near road traffic and rubbish bin area, I paid the extra for the upgrade per night for 2 nights. Our room was not serviced well the following day. Rubbish bin in the bathroom being the only one was not emptied. The Bath and Shower gel was not replenished, we had to asked for it to be refilled. the cushions on the bed was still on the floor from the night before, the ironing board was still left out - I did not put it back as the iron was still very hot after ironing my dress for my conference that morning. The gym facilities was very tired with all towels being used and the used towels bin was overflowing. I was very disappointed with my stay this trip, using shortage of staff since Covid is a very old excuse now. Systems and procedures should be in placed by management to ensure the 5 star ratings is upheld. No point upselling or selling more rooms if they cannot keep customers happy to come back again. This was not only my opinion but that of my colleagues. very disappointing!”

„Nice size room. Some plugs are not working and cannot get fixed during our stay. Staff responded quickly and offered to change room but we didn't accept as we don't want to repack our luggage. Provided an extensioon cord. TV was not working intermittly and seemed to be a common occurrence. Seems like all problems are electrically related. Staffs are very nice and respond very quickly.”
