„Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency Kuantan, especially the ambience and hospitality. However, there are a few areas that require attention. Cons / Areas for Improvement: 1. Water pressure was quite slow, especially for the shower. When turned to hot water, the pressure increased, but once switched to cold, it became extremely weak. 2. There was water maintenance work happening during our stay. Although the hotel assured that everything was under control, it did affect our comfort while on holiday. 3. We noticed a small clump of dust on the floor. While it was minor, as we were staying with a 2-year-old toddler, it raised concerns as children tend to put things into their mouth. Housekeeping may need to be more thorough. 4. There should be better control of wild monkeys, especially around the parking area. I was chased and nearly bitten, which was quite frightening and unsafe for guests. Pros / What We Appreciate: 1. Excellent service recovery — I forgot to disable the “Do Not Disturb” sign but informed the front desk to clean the room. The housekeeping staff called first to ask for permission before entering, which shows professionalism and true 5-star service standards. 2. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very calming — truly breathtaking. 3. The beach is very clean and conveniently located right next to the hotel. 4. Large swimming pools (two pools available), so it never felt crowded. 5. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Conclusion: Hyatt Regency Kuantan has great potential with its beautiful location, facilities, and outstanding staff. With improvements in water system management, housekeeping checks, and wildlife control, the overall guest experience would be even better.”

„The studio unit located at the lower level, easy access to car park, but still have to use stairs/lift to go to the designated parking at upper level. Check out during peak hours and not easy to get the lift access. The agent called and sent message to remind the check out time. Good and lucky they consider a little bit late check out due to the heavy traffic at lift as well as parking area. Overall the building/environment is ok, but the pool decks seems need an improvement.”

„I had a wonderful stay in Antara by Cobnb. Would definitely repeat and I highly recommend to anyone planning to stay in Genting Highlands to book this property. View is breathtaking, panoramic and unblocked, you’ll never get bored of. From my unit balcony, I could see the ice age roller coaster @ Genting Skyworlds Theme Park, cable car, chin swee temple, the curvy roads, other attractions in Genting and Kuala Lumpur city. Love that clouds are at eye-level, and fogs will come and go. In terms of amenities, since I got free upgrade to 3-bedrooms unit, it was equipped with kitchen utensils (pot, pans, knife, scissors, peeler, forks and spoons, chopsticks, plates, bowls, saucers, teapot, cups, glasses, jar), microwave, electric kettle, oven, refrigerator, induction cooker, iron and ironboard, hair dryer. TV, airconds and ceiling fans are available at living room and every bedroom. There’s also jacuzzi at the balcony. The interior is luxurious, clean and modern which I love so much. High-speed wifi is available too. To note, the amenities provided by Cobnb is of high quality!!”

„We stayed at Chateau Spa, Bukit Tinggi for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a truly pleasant and relaxing experience. The resort was peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to unwind and celebrate a special occasion. The room was clean, and the toilet was well kept, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff service was truly tip-top—everyone was attentive, caring, and clearly prioritised our wellbeing and comfort throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out. As for the food, breakfast and the buffet were fine, but the à la carte meals for lunch and dinner were definitely worth the money. The portion sizes matched the price well, and there was a good variety of Western and Malay cuisine. We tried the Western dishes, including salmon and steak, and they were delicious. The spa prices were affordable, though booking in advance is recommended. We visited during the last few days of December, and the weather was cold and lovely, adding to the overall relaxing experience. We left feeling happy, refreshed, and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway or a special celebration.”

„The hotel is located right next to the beach, offering a relaxing resort atmosphere. It has been refurbished, so everything feels modern and comfortable. The service from the staff is excellent, making the stay even more pleasant. There are also plenty of food options nearby, so you don’t have to travel far to find something to eat. Free parking is available, and valet service is also offered starting from RM68 per day for cars and RM48 per day for motorcycles. The swimming pool is clean and comfortable, though proper swimwear is required. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it for a relaxing beachside getaway.”

„We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our family. The room was nice, clean, and very comfortable, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a long day. One of the best parts of the location is its convenience—it’s only about a 15-minute walk to Genting Highlands via the link bridge. There is also a mall right below the hotel, which made it very easy for us to find plenty of dining options. We would also like to highlight the excellent service from the management team, 7Stonez. They were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and even assisted with room upgrade requests when available. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again.”
