Mój przyjaciel i ja dzieliliśmy pokój dwuosobowy w hotelu Citywell przez 3 noce i było naprawdę wygodnie! Mieszkaliśmy na piątym piętrze w cichszym pokoju, w którym nie było okna wychodzącego na ulicę. Na szczęście piąte piętro ma sztuczny ogród ze świetlikiem na środku, który pozwala, aby wewnętrzne pokoje również otrzymywały naturalne światło przez duże szklane okno. The Vibe : from the second we arrived, we were blown away by the archutecture and interior design. Its visual masterpiece. The Services : a huge thank you to front desk; housekeeping and restaurant teams. They were so patient and helpful with my elderly parent and my toddler. Even with a language barrier, their kindness translated perfectly. The location : ideally suitated in thr old town. It made exploring so easy with a young child and seniors. Value : for the price range, the quality of service and the beauty of the property are unbeatable.

First off, it is very very hard to drag a luggage through the entire ancient district into this hotel. The streets are paved with ancient cobblestone and engraved stones. It is impossible to drag luggage across it, so I had to carry 12 kg by hand. I was sweating under the afternoon summer sun. Thankfully, the reception ladies were very kind and I got cold tea immediately upon arrival. Upon walking through the door, the water feature garden was quite breathtaking. I honestly had not expected to see such a design in Fuzhou. There are seats readily available, so you can also relax with friends in the courtyard or reception hall. Despite the lack of noise proofing (due to ancient architecture preservation), the room was also amazing with some of the best amenities I’ve seen to far. The hotel also provides laundry service for free, which is a huge benefit in the sweltering Fuzhou summer. In the main reception hall, you get fresh tea served as well as small talk if you wish. The sunrise and morning streets outside were gorgeous, so I wish I had more time exploring the district. There is honestly a lot to do in Fuzhou, so long as you are willing to avoid tourist traps. Overall, worth staying here, but hauling 20kg luggage back to the subway again under the afternoon sun was crazy.

The staff were very friendly and kind. One memorable moment was when I bumped into a reception staff member at the laundry area. She noticed that I was having trouble operating the washing machine. Even though I could tell she had already ended her shift, she still took the time to help me. She really didn’t have to, and I’m very grateful for her kindness. However, there were a couple of issues during my stay. On the first day, I could smell cigarette smoke in my room, which was quite unpleasant. In addition, the room heater didn’t seem to work properly. Even after switching it to heating mode, it continued to blow cold air instead of warm air. Overall, the staff’s hospitality was excellent, but I hope the hotel can improve on room maintenance and cleanliness to make the stay more comfortable.

Centrally located within Gu Cheng with lots of eateries around! Food is not an issue when you’re around this area and all are good food! I can’t express further how much i love the location. However, it is not really accessible by car so you have to drop outside and walk approximately 300m in to reach the hotel. And I feel they should have more washer and dryer facilities in the premises. All is good and i’ve got nothing to complain about. i love the place, the serenity it provides amidst the buzzing streets and cleanliness they upkeep!

Temperatura wody w pokoju była stabilna i regulowana, a sam pokój był czysty i bez nieprzyjemnych zapachów. Wszystkie akcesoria łazienkowe były dobrej jakości, a na umywalce była nawet miła niespodzianka w postaci czepka kąpielowego. Hotel oferuje super stosunek jakości do ceny, od razu poleciłem go znajomym po pobycie!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLACE! Really lovely atmosphere tucked away nicely in the dense city of Xiamen. Really peaceful at night time. The girl on reception couldn’t have been nicer, she personally showed me around the hotel, gave me food recommendation, a bottle of water and orange juice and just a general lovely chat. Would stay again.

Very good location, breakfast is good,they serve different varieties everyday. Cleanliness is good, decent size room, make sure u ask for pedestrian room facing as back street sometimes can be noisy.

Hotel is nice and clean. Maybe a little bit “lived in”, but well maintained. Good location and view. Simple Chinese breakfast is served, it’s quite good. Overall, good deal for the money.
