The hotel was located a 2 minute walk from the airport bus stop. It was also close to tram stops and a don quijote across the road. The room was a little small but we managed to make space for 2 large suitcases by moving things around. There is also a massage chair in the room which was a random nice touch. I really recommend the breakfast as there was an all fish option which is great if you're muslim and only eat halal. It gave us the opportunity to try something traditional that I would not have been able to before. Freshly made bonito flakes too! The hotel also has a luggage disposal service as my suitcase broke on the way there, it costed 3300 yen. It was a convenient, clean and safe stay :)
It was a wonderful stay. The hotel management was excellent, and the room was in great condition. I want to give a special mention to Miss Gotanda 五反田, who guided me after check-in. Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.
Very good location.
And close to train station
No need to pass the road and use tunnel to walk pass
When hungry and can't sleep can go B1 restaurant to eat dinner or supper
My room view very good , can see the skyscraper
We ended up in a magnificent corner room with a view of Sakurajima - possibly the best room in the hotel - but only after a struggle. On arrival, we were told that our Standard King room was double-booked and we would have to move after one night to a smaller room. The hotel blamed the mix-up on Trip.com. Since we had booked almost two months prior and had arrived first, this didn't wash. We pressed our claim and the result was good. A lovely, modern room with exceptional facilities - including a private sauna - and magnificent view.
But it speaks poorly of the hotel's customer service that it took some determined push-back to achieve this result. The hotel's initial attitude was that the we should lose out over a mix-up that had nothing to do with us. A first-rate place, if you can trust the booking.
Good location, within walking distance to jet foil port to Yakushima. Not far from bus stop from Kagoshima airport.
Very nice service from Hotel staffs, we came early(10am) and left our bags at the hotel, at check in time (3pm) they’ve already brought all our bags to the room.
Standard size of Japanese hotel with all amenities you need.
Comfy bed.
Nowy hotel z doskonałą lokalizacją. Jest tuż obok ulicy handlowej z mnóstwem restauracji i sklepów z pamiątkami. Masz udogodnienia takie jak sól w łazience, herbatniki, kawa do kąpieli i olej do czyszczenia/ cynamon w lobby hotelu, aby odebrać.

I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.
Not the best location but close enough to train station, shopping mall and eateries. Bathroom was a little small but the washer/dryer in the room made all the difference. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and spacious by Japan’s standards. No frills but had pretty much everything needed for a comfortable stay. Reception was very helpful in helping with bookings.

Very Good
짱짱구구The best of the best, with a separate room.
You can see outside from the bathtub.
The large windows make the view incredible. I love it!
The location was great, being close to Yoron Port.
The cocktail bar was also great, with all drinks free until 5 p.m.
LLaodantaNext to Maruo Onsen Station, you can see Sakurajima if the weather is good. The hot spring is a sulfur spring, which is very beautiful in white and blue. There is also a hot spring steam sauna. The only bad thing is that the buffet has a lot of varieties but the taste is quite average. However, for a price of just over 600 yuan for one night and two meals, it is perfect.
Ccindy-caoThe triple room was generally small and a bit cramped. The only plus was the shower/tub combo, and the bathroom itself was quite spacious. The toiletries provided were excellent, and the hairdryer was a Refa, with both a curling iron and a flat iron included. It's worth noting that none of the rooms offer a view of Sakurajima; you have to go to the rooftop observation deck to catch a glimpse from a specific angle. The hotel is quite a distance from the central station, which is inconvenient if you have large luggage. However, downstairs there's a food street, shopping, and a supermarket, so everything you need is readily available.
SShoppppper五星級服務,車泊在停車場已經有人走出黎幫你係車搬行李,入到門口要除鞋,有人幫你放好對鞋,有welcome drink 和式係抹茶加和菓子,西式係香檳同cookie
After the meal, someone introduced the hotel facilities, including hot sand for feet, and because there were stairs, someone helped carry the luggage up to the room. The room faces the sea view, which is great!
One room, two meals, breakfast and dinner in another room.
Food quality is good!
When I checked out, he would help me get the car to the door instead of driving on my own.
To sum up, the service is considerate. For three thousand dollars, you can find a sea view room with one bed and two meals.

VvivimimiI originally wanted to book the highly recommended Shiroyama Hotel, mainly to see the active volcano scenery in Kagoshima! But I booked too late. I saw that this art hotel was also said to offer good value for money. The only downside is that it's a bit far from Kagoshima-Chuo, so you'll need to take a taxi, otherwise, the bus ride takes over half an hour. The room with a view is indeed outstanding. However, the hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are a bit dated. Plus, there's no hot spring, and the only swimming pool is closed in winter. There's also an outdoor spa that requires advance booking and a swimsuit, which I unfortunately didn't bring, so I had to give it a miss. The front desk staff spoke good English. The only issue was that on weekends, breakfast was super crowded, and we had to queue for half an hour 😮💨. However, the breakfast spread was quite rich. Overall, it's not bad, especially suitable for those traveling by car.

KkeyorkThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to the planetarium. The airport shuttle stop is just a minute's walk to the left when you exit. The hotel is quiet, clean, and has a great design. The room size isn't huge, but it's perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler. The only downside is that breakfast is a set menu with no drinks, and it got a bit repetitive after four days. Overall, it's great value for money, and I recommend it!
DDazizaidehuaduoyaThis hotel is located on a hillside, offering views of Sakurajima volcano and a partial sea view. (I stayed for 4 nights, but they gave me a room on the lowest 6th floor. I had hoped to pay more for a better view, but from the 6th floor, you can barely see the sea. I noticed that higher floors with the same room type were occupied by locals, which is something I've encountered at other Japanese hotels as well. I usually stay at one hotel for a minimum of three to four days, sometimes even a week, but it seems I never receive any 'special treatment'. I hope Trip.com can address this.) The hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, which is rare for hotels of this caliber post-pandemic, and the ingredients are fresh. You don't even need to leave the hotel for anything – there's a convenience store, hot springs, massage services, a flower shop, restaurants, and a free shuttle bus to and from Kagoshima city center. Even taking a taxi to the aquarium or Sengan-en costs less than 2000 yen. Overall, it's a very comfortable, convenient, and versatile place to relax. I would choose this hotel again on my next trip to Kagoshima, even though the floor issue made me a bit unhappy 😠 (All photos are scenes from inside the hotel).
YYaneI stayed 5 nights in Kagoshima for a leisurely trip. The hotel has 12 floors with 4 rooms per floor and 2 elevators. There was only one staff member at the front desk, but they were very friendly. Check-in and check-out were done via a self-service machine. Rooms don't have keys; instead, you get a 4-digit passcode.
**Pros:** The rooms are spacious, perfect for families, and some even have bunk beds. Each room comes with a kitchen and a washer-dryer combo, which was super convenient as I cooked dinner three times. The hotel is located between Kagoshima-Chuo Station and the Tenmonkan shopping district. Both are about 900 meters away, and since Kagoshima city center isn't that big, you can easily walk around the commercial areas.
**Cons:** As many have mentioned, the breakfast isn't great. There are only five simple options. In Japan, if you don't eat breakfast at the hotel, it can be quite challenging and time-consuming to find something outside.
GGuest UserThis hotel boasts a perfect location, directly opposite JR Kagoshima-Chuo Station, and is conveniently connected to the station and bus terminal via an underground passage. This makes it incredibly easy to access the Shinkansen, city trams, and airport buses. What's even better is that the hotel lobby and some guest rooms offer breathtaking views, allowing you to take in the magnificent Sakurajima volcano and the dazzling city night lights. As mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are spotless and well-equipped, truly embodying the consistent cleanliness and thoughtful design characteristic of Japanese hotels. Enjoying the breakfast buffet in the morning, featuring dishes prepared with local Kagoshima ingredients, was a highlight. In particular, getting to savor the traditional and delicious 'chicken rice' made with rich chicken broth was a fantastic way to energize for the day's adventures. From check-in to check-out, the hotel staff consistently displayed professional and warm hospitality, making the entire stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Even as just a stop along my journey, it provided a level of comfort and convenience that far exceeded my expectations.
