Good budget stay in Kuala Lumpur. The room offers a nice view and is comfortable for a short trip. The swimming pool is decent and well-maintained. Check-in was smooth, but the room floor was slightly wet when I arrived around 3 PM, likely due to recent cleaning. One issue encountered was the safety lock, which suddenly engaged by itself and couldn’t be opened from outside. Thankfully, the maintenance staff responded quickly and helped resolve it. Parking is available but comes with an extra charge. Overall, still a value-for-money option with decent facilities, but there is room for improvement in maintenance and room readiness.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room size was just right. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. 👍 We only stayed one night before heading to Klang, which was very close by. Worth it!

Had a wonderful stay here. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the view/lighting from the window made the room feel super cozy and bright. Facilities were great and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Excellent service overall—definitely a highly recommended place for a short getaway or business trip. Will definitely come back again!

Not quite up to 4-star standard The hotel feels quite dated and definitely could use a renovation or refresh. Compared to other 4-star hotels I’ve stayed in, the overall facilities and amenities did not feel up to the same standard. There was no Type-C charging port, no bathrobe, and some of the basic amenities provided felt quite low quality. The towels were very thin, and the slippers were also extremely thin. We were staying as 2 guests, but only 1 pair of slippers was provided. I was also quite surprised by the housekeeping practice. Every morning, housekeeping would knock on the door to ask whether we wanted housekeeping if we had not put up the “Do Not Disturb” sign. I found this quite disruptive, especially when guests may still be sleeping or resting. At other 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at, housekeeping usually only cleans the room when guests put up a “Make Up Room” sign, so guests are not disturbed unnecessarily. Overall, I feel the hotel needs to improve the quality and quantity of its in-room amenities and consider renovating the rooms to bring the property closer to the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. Hopefully, the management will take these comments into consideration and improve the guest experience.

This is our second time staying here, and we really love the location. It is super close to the airport, making it extremely convenient for grabbing food nearby or heading out for early flights. You can walk there in no time, so you never have to worry about traffic, and everything feels completely within your control. That part is fantastic. However, there are a few issues: 1. Cleanliness: Don't expect the hygiene standards of a proper hotel; it feels more like a guesthouse. It's clear they haven't maintained strict quality control in that area. 2. Breakfast: We tried their breakfast. It's very ordinary, not amazing, but not terrible either, just an earnest effort on their part. 3. Noise: Because of our transit schedule, we were waking up around 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning, and every time we stepped out of our room, there were tons of birds chirping right outside the door. 4. Door design and safety: The room doors are poorly designed. You have to slam them shut hard; otherwise, they stay partially open and won't latch, which raises real security concerns. 5. Maintenance: I stayed in room 365, and the bathroom sink leaked the whole time I was washing my face, water kept dripping down into the basin, which was really frustrating.

We came here for a quick, totally unplanned getaway with the family and ended up having a really good time. We booked 3 rooms, and the resort worked really well for a family trip. The location is probably one of the best things about the resort. It’s close to the city and all the activities, but once you’re inside the resort, the city is mostly out of view, so it still feels like a proper getaway. The food was surprisingly good. We went to Ahan twice, once for dinner and again for lunch and enjoyed both visits. The hotel breakfast was fine too, with plenty of choices, although nothing particularly special. The buggy service was helpful whenever one was available. During busier times, it could be a little difficult to get one, so we simply used our own car to get around the other areas. It wasn’t really a problem for us. There are plenty of activities around. We went go-karting, played golf, took the kids to the waterpark, and tried the VR, which was actually really fun. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for VR a second time! Another nice touch is the 24-hour self-service shop. Late at night, we even ordered pizza for the kids, and surprisingly, Grab delivery was able to reach the resort. Overall, there are plenty of activities, restaurants and different types of rooms to choose from. For an unplanned family getaway, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Malaysia. The location is fantastic – right next to an MRT station, which made getting around the city super easy and convenient. What really stood out for me was the amazing staff. I only brought a USB cable to charge my phone, and they kindly allowed me to charge it in the lobby. That kind of flexibility and friendliness is rare and much appreciated. As a bonus, I also discovered that the TV in the room has a USB port, so I could charge my phone there as well – a smart and thoughtful touch. Another great touch – there’s a filtered water pipe available, so you can easily get a cool, clean drink, which is especially refreshing in Malaysia’s hot weather. Overall, great service, excellent location, and practical little details that made my stay stress-free. Will definitely stay here again.

We used the Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Airport for a short overnight stay before our connecting flight and were generally satisfied. The hotel is very practical for a stay near the airport. The rooms were clean, functionally furnished, and perfectly adequate for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn't make use of the breakfast due to our early departure. The uncomplicated location in conjunction with an early departure the next morning was particularly important to us. For that purpose, the hotel is very well suited. From our perspective, anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced airport hotel for a stopover can definitely choose the Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Airport.
