If you are searching for a place where serenity, cleanliness, and genuine Japanese hospitality collide, stop looking — this is it. The Room & Amenities From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by how impeccably clean everything was. I mean spotless. The room itself is wonderfully spacious, giving us plenty of room to unwind after long days of exploring. But the real showstopper? The private hot bath. Soaking in steaming hot water while gazing out at Mt. Fuji from the comfort of our room was nothing short of therapeutic. And then there is the balcony. Waking up each morning to a full, unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji right from our private terrace felt like a privilege I never wanted to end. Whether it was sunrise painting the peak in soft pink or the mountain standing bold against a clear blue sky, the view alone made every yen worth it. The Host — Above and Beyond The owner is one of those rare people who makes you feel like family from day one. Warm, attentive, and endlessly kind, he ensured our stay was seamless. But what happened on our last day truly sealed this experience as unforgettable. While we were waiting for our bus back to Yokohama, he volunteered to drive us to Yamanakako Myojinyama Panoramadai. I cannot put into words how breathtaking that spot was — a sweeping panorama of Yamanaka Lake shimmering below with the majestic Mt. Fuji rising proudly in the background. It was the kind of view that makes you stop breathing for a second. That he took time out of his day to gift us that moment speaks volumes about the heart behind this villa. Final Thoughts Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa is not just accommodation — it is an experience. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests. „Arrived on a heavy snow and my shoe were all wet. Were told that our room were not ready but the lady quickly offered me a Shoe Dryer to dry my shoe. The room were quite spacious. It has beautiful view of Mt Fuji. The onsen have the same beautiful view of Mt Fuji. 20 mins walk to the Kawaguchi station. But within 5 mins walk around the hotel, there are Lawson, restaurants and also a huge supermarket. Recommended.”

„The room is spacious and cozy. There is a bathtub in the bathroom. Facilities are plentiful. The view is stunning! We booked a mountain view and we got it! The staffs are kind and friendly. They can communicate in English quite well. The hotel also has a hotspring. It is a great place for everyone, especially a couple or a family”

„It’s a convenient location for individuals wanting to hike Mt Ryugatake or head to the Nakanokura viewing deck. The hotel has an outdoor bath, which we enjoyed. There’s quite a selection of food to choose from for breakfast and dinner. However, we unfortunately had hunger game-style buffet dinner/breakfast encounters during our first night stay at the hotel (we stayed a total of 2 nights). The buffet dinner was absolute chaos. Majority of the staying guests at the hotel are part of large tour groups. One of the group staying on our first night went absolutely feral at the buffet dinner. Cutting queues left and right. Swiping every food item. At one point I heard a fellow diner say to their friend“there’s nothing left!?!??” as they look at the empty buffet trays. It felt less like dining and more like surviving a food stampede. 🥲 The hotel staff looked defeated as well. I feel for them. Thankfully day 2 was less chaotic and more orderly. We didn’t have to fear of ppl cutting our queue.”

„The location and view are excellent, it was close to Mt. Fuji. With clear and good weather, you are able to see Mt. Fuji with a specular view. The staff provides excellent service to the quests. If I am really critical, it just doesn't have a gym room. Breakfast and dinner are great too, high quality! Highly recommended!”

„This hotel offers plenty of activities to keep you busy. I particularly enjoyed the welcome matcha tea from an authentic tea house. The rustic sake room provides complimentary sake, which definitely warms you up and relieves tiredness. There’s also an open-air foot bath available. I had a spacious room with a marvelous view of Mount Fuji every morning upon waking. The gourmet dining experience is definitely worth mentioning. The unforgettable drum show and bingo game at night were incredibly exciting. The onsen experience was perfect.”
