„Mieliśmy pokój z wanną z fascynującym widokiem na góry. Jednak lokalizacja hotelu nie jest najlepsza, ale taksówka jest tania. Śniadanie było w porządku i ogólnie nie było tanie, ale widok zdecydowanie był wart pieniędzy, które zapłaciliśmy. „Traveling to Lijiang with my family, I chose Kairan primarily for its proximity to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. We stayed for two nights. The day before check-in, they created a WeChat group and offered free pick-up service. The staff were already waiting at the entrance to help with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple yet comfortable design, and offered a direct, expansive view of the snow-capped mountain. The complimentary courtyard afternoon tea was absolutely amazing! During our stay, services like laundry pick-up/delivery and coffee orders were handled promptly. The service was superb. Both the beautiful scenery of Lijiang and the stay at Kairan have become wonderful memories. We'll definitely be back!”

„I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.”

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly, English-speaking landlady who went out of her way to accommodate our needs. As Muslim travelers, we truly appreciated her effort in preparing delicious vegetarian breakfasts and even offering us complimentary snacks (like Nabati and Snickers) for our trip to Yulong Snow Mountain — just a 30-minute Didi ride away. The room itself was stunning — thoughtfully designed, cozy, and filled with character. Whether you're heading to Lijiang (also about 30 minutes by Didi) or simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of Baisha, this homestay offers the perfect base. Location walking distance to Baisha Ancient Town and just a short drive if you take Didi. I took Didi to Yulong Snow Mountain from this hotel. Welcome fruits, complimentary breakfast and gifts are so thoughtful. I get to taste local snack, fruit and delicacies. „Highly highly recommend this stay. One of the best hotel stay i ever had. Hotel was super clean and new, as advertised on the photograph. Fantastic view of the mountain. Room facilities were superb, there was really nothing i could have asked for better. The most outstanding aspect is the service. As foreigners in china, we relied almost exclusively on the front desk for everything. Its like having a 24hr concierge/ butler. They booked drivers for us, helped us find cheaper alternatives, even offered to cook for us outside office hours because we are coming back late. You will be send to and fro the baisha old town via a buggee with no waiting time at all. Every night, there is a campfire, BBQ ,fireworks exclusively for the hotel guess. For ppl with kids, they have cute little lambs around their yard (cordon off but accessible).”

Service details are intimate: the ancient town pick-up and drop-off is reminded in advance to make an appointment, and the daily afternoon tea is prepared regularly; Every night, the bonfire party prepares charcoal fireworks and hot tea in advance, and the atmosphere is regularly set off. „This is the best stay through out our trip in yunnan. We still talks about this place even after the end of our trip. Our itinerary changed last minute and i’m so glad we get to experience staying here. The butler, Daxi contacted us before our arrival to pickup our luggage and guide us to the hotel just in case the driver doesn’t want to drop us at the main door. She gave a tour of the hotel and the rooftop has the best unblocked view. When we were having troubles with our booking to JDSM, she voluntarily helped solve things out and goes out of her way to ensure everything is in order. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast is nice and the service is magnificent. This was the best stay during our trip. Don’t doubt to book your stay here.”
