„Dobra opcja na długą przesiadkę. Należy jednak pamiętać, że konieczne będzie przejście kontroli bezpieczeństwa (wyrzuć wszystkie płyny, mimo że dopiero wylądowałeś i przesiadłeś się z innego samolotu). Pokój hotelowy jest przyjemny, ale bardzo ZIMNY (nie można regulować temperatury klimatyzacji, ponieważ jest scentralizowana). W razie potrzeby zabierz kurtkę. Obsługa na recepcji nie była zbyt przyjazna, nie witała się z uśmiechem. Mogłoby być lepiej, gdyby obsługa klienta była bardziej nastawiona na klienta. Ogólnie pobyt był w porządku, ale nie wrócę do tego hotelu na dłuższą przesiadkę.”

„It was unfortunate we couldn’t get to check in earlier because we arrived earlier so we stayed at the lobby for 9-10 hours despite many emails sent to give them a heads up. Overall our stay was decent. Breakfast was good and service was good too.”

„We stayed for three nights, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was rich and varied, and we were surprised to have three dozen fish and monkey peaches. The elevator leads to Grand Mall, which has supermarkets and restaurants, clothing, etc. Every waiter is very warm and thoughtful. But the taxi outside the hotel is twice as expensive as the taxi downstairs, which brings us inconvenience. Breakfast number one”

„This hotel is strategically located close to the Avenues Mall. Attached to this mall (and closest entrance to the hotel) is Lulu Hypermarket -an amazing supermarket with local and international brands, and a fantastic bakery. This mall is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. However, you do have walk along the road as the sidewalk / footpath does not exist. But this is only for 300 metres. In fact you can get off the street, but it is gravel/ construction site, so you shoes will be messy. Uber and Grab do not exist in Oman. However, the hotel has two or three taxi drivers that will you take you anywhere. They use set rates, rather than a meter. For example Hotel to Airport run is 8 is Omani Rial (US $20). While this hotel is great for shopping, it is not the best for major attractions of Muscat. The main historical sites of Alam Palace, Ai Mirania Fort and National Museum is 21 kms from the hotel. About 10 Omani Rial is each way by taxi. However, there are very few hotels in this area, so most people stay in hotels near Malls in Oman. This is some form of Public Transport in Muscat, but it can be hard for tourists to use without changing to another bus or long walks. For example, the Royal Opera House is 10 kms from hotel. By using public transport this would require a 2.5 kms walk. The hotel rooms are quite spacious and feature comfortable lounge style chairs. The hotel is located near an expressway /motorway, but good soundproofing means this is not an issue. I was of level 3 and could just see the ocean in the distance (right) and the mall (to left). They do have ocean view room (more expensive higher up the building). The TV is very disappointing - small & old with fuzzy channels. Fortunately, the internet is great, so viewing most programs on the computer. The rooftop has great swimming pool and bar, but maybe a little too cold to swim with highs of about 22-23 C in winter. Staff at receptionist are very obliging. I can definitely recommend this hotel for shopping and good base to experience Muscat. However, as mentioned, it is long way from the major tourists attraction of the city and taxi is required.”

„Excellent service and a truly premium experience at JW Marriott Muscat. The staff was attentive at Kitchen 7 (big shout out to Yuni, Naveen, Saad, Ashiqul, Pankaj and other staff) throughout the stay, constantly checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Breakfast spread was fantastic. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The only downside is the location. While it's close to the airport, it's far from most city attractions. Also, regular taxis aren’t available; only luxury cars serve the hotel, which can cost 3x the usual fare. Still, a great stay overall.”

„Lokalizacja hotelu była świetna, w samym centrum. Meble były zadbane, a łóżka wygodne. Basen był mały, ale moje dzieci były zachwycone. Jedynym minusem był personel. Szczerze mówiąc, narzekaliśmy tylko na panią przy zameldowaniu. Była uprzejma, ale niezbyt gościnna. Nikt nie pomógł z bagażem, a w recepcji przez większość czasu nikogo nie było. Sprzątanie było fatalne – pościel nie była zmieniana, mimo że była brudna i podarta. Musiałem do nich dzwonić, żeby ją zmienili. Dywan był mokry, a oni nic nie zrobili, nawet nie wyczyścili stolików. Cena była rozsądna, biorąc pod uwagę lokalizację, a pokoje łączone były świetne dla moich dzieci.”

„Świetnie się bawiłem w hotelu Intercity Bawshar! Znajduje się w odległości 3 minut jazdy od najnowszego centrum handlowego w Omanie - Mall of Oman. Hotel oferuje transfer do centrum handlowego Mall of Oman w określonych godzinach. Możesz do nich zadzwonić, aby umówić się na odbiór z powrotem do hotelu, gdy skończysz zakupy i kolację! Jest blisko lotniska i wszystkich głównych atrakcji turystycznych. Hotel jest nowy, łóżko jest super wygodne, a gospodyni Perera i personel restauracji taki jak Aamir sprawiają, że czujesz się absolutnie jak w domu. To mały hotel, ale ma siłownię i basen z jedną restauracją. Gorąco polecam ten hotel!”

„I don't think our floors were cleaned even once during our 5-day stay at the hotel. The bedsheets haven't been changed too. The housekeeping staff had been reusing the same towel for the bathroom floor for the whole five days, and by the end of our trip it was looking really dirty. The other big issue is noise. Our room was on the third floor and the windows were facing the cafe down below, where they kept blasting music until up to 2am. The dinner buffet, for some reason, only had plain water as a drink option. I don't think that providing at least some soft drinks or juices is that expensive for a four-star hotel that is a part of the Marriott hotel chain, especially for the price of 11 OMR per person. On the positive note, the hotel personnel were exceptionally nice and helpful, and they completed all of our requests in a timely manner. We also found the interior design to be quite pleasant. The blackout curtains in the room did an excellent job at blocking out the bright sun in the morning. The pool is really good as well.”

„Kempinski pozostawił po sobie ogromne wrażenie. Elegancki, dyskretny, szlachetny, minimalistyczny hotel. Ponieważ morze jest blisko, w pomieszczeniu panuje specyficzny zapach ze względu na stałą wilgotność, chociaż może to wynikać z tego, że pokój znajdował się na 0. piętrze. Zaraz po czyszczeniu znika, ale potem pojawia się ponownie. Moją opcją zakwaterowania jest HB. Dla tych, którzy lubią jeść pyszne jedzenie, jest to najmądrzejszy wybór. Obiady są bardzo urozmaicone, naprawdę każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie: mięso, ryby, desery, przystawki - różnorodność jest po prostu oszałamiająca! Organizowane są także kolacje tematyczne. Dlatego jeden z wieczorów poświęcony był kuchni tureckiej. Basen jest świetny. Są nawet 2 z nich, jeden z dostępem do plaży. Plaża może nie jest najbardziej imponująca. Tutaj, w zależności od tego, z czym porównujesz. Teren hotelu jest niewielki. W okolicy znajduje się obszar, w którym żyje wielu emigrantów. Kilka kroków dalej znajduje się przyjemna promenada z przystanią jachtową, licznymi kawiarniami i centrum handlowym. Wspaniała opcja na spacery rano lub wieczorem. Personel hotelu jest bardzo przyjazny i pomocny. Zapamiętują wszystkie Twoje preferencje za pierwszym razem i zawsze są gotowi do pomocy. W przeddzień zameldowania otrzymałem ankietę, w której hotel poprosił mnie o podanie moich życzeń i preferencji. Napisałem o późniejszym wymeldowaniu i hotel potwierdził mi taką możliwość bez pobierania dodatkowej opłaty.”
