„I had high expectations for this hotel, given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I had booked five rooms. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and there was a queue for check-in with only one staff member at the counter. As a result, the service quality was poor. The process was not smooth and was frequently interrupted by other guests. Upon heading to our rooms, we found the hotel corridor lights were not turned on. The dark corridors made it difficult to locate our room numbers. To our disappointment, one of the rooms was not ready. While we would understand an early check-in issue at 2:00 PM, finding an unprepared room at 6:30 PM is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The overall service was a major letdown. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, breakfast has a good selection.”

„川西自駕所有酒店民宿的天花板！Santa是我遇到過服務最好的，審美最在線的民宿。位置就在香格里拉鎮中心，附近餐館和奶茶店很多，離稻城亞丁景區開車十幾分鍾就到。 抵達的那天開錯路了找不到停車場，老闆和服務員小姐姐出門幫忙領路，超耐心介紹房間細節，還幫我們升房了。電器用的都是戴森的電吹風和加濕器，沙發很大很舒服，半圓形的餐桌挺有設計感，大浴缸泡澡可以解除一天的疲勞。 民宿每天會贈送早餐，並且會送到房間，種類特別豐富，中式西式都有，最愛的是米線，真的特別香！ 我們在鎮子上吃晚飯突然下雨，老闆還過來送傘，給我們推薦乾淨好吃的餐廳，擔心我們吃壞肚子。晚上怕我們高反還送了榴蓮到房間，特別感謝用心的服務！ 服務員小姐姐幫忙協調停車位，拿外賣送到房間，幫忙拿行李，進出都會打招呼，特別注重客人的體驗感受，真的感覺到了真誠對待。 如果下次再來一定還會選Santa，支持老闆和兩位小姐姐～ 歡迎水果: 有陽光玫瑰，蜜李，蘋果，品種很多也很新鮮”

„First of all I would like to thank the 2 young women on daytime reception for their help, particularly in translating- I speak neither Chinese nor *******. When I stayed, this hotel had huge clientele, - even though the National Holidays were over- many coaches and minibuses. With so many people there for one reason - walking in the Yading National Park - breakfast had a base-camp feel, as people rushed to get to the mountain or the airport. The situation of the hotel is good just outside Shangri-la Town (and right next door to the hospital) It is convenient to get to the scenic area whilst staying at a relatively low height...altitude sickness being a risk at these heights. The room was cosy and warm.”

„The room offers a stunning view and a strong sense of wabi-sabi design. The vanity is the second largest I've ever seen, after only the Ritz-Carlton Reserve. The bathing area is very spacious and uncrowded, with good attention to detail; all the plumbing is hidden. The overall sense of space is excellent. The minibar is well-stocked with drinks. It's quite close to the Yading scenic area, only a 16-minute drive for us. Because it was raining, the staff thoroughly explained all the essential items we'd need, which I really appreciated. 🙏”

„Great hotel, but we came off season so probably that’s why it didn’t meet our expectations. The staff and rooms in the hotel istelf are very nice, but the area around feels like a complete ghost town. Nothing is open and there is nowhere to eat in the area, only a 5 minute drive by car to the nearby”Shangri-La town” where only a few restaurants are open. Overall the hotel itself was good, breakfast was okay and it’s fairly close to the Yading park (10 minutes drive). We hope to come back in the summer for a better experience!”

„The hotel is located within the scenic area. After booking, our concierge booked our tickets and arranged a driver to take us from the visitor center to the hotel. Songtsam's facilities and cleanliness are top-notch, and the service is impeccable. The hotel restaurant offers a direct view of two snow-capped mountains side-by-side. Our room's balcony faced the same direction as the restaurant, allowing us to enjoy the sunrise over the mountains from our room. I highly recommend the hotel's ”Songtsam Trail” hiking experience. Bookings can be made before 7 PM the night before. Our guide, Tsering, is very professional; he even carries our lunch and oxygen tanks, and we dine at the spot where the three sacred mountains are visible in the view. The scenery along the Songtsam Trail is breathtaking, the hike is not difficult, and the experience is excellent!”
