„I had high expectations for this hotel, given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I had booked five rooms. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and there was a queue for check-in with only one staff member at the counter. As a result, the service quality was poor. The process was not smooth and was frequently interrupted by other guests. Upon heading to our rooms, we found the hotel corridor lights were not turned on. The dark corridors made it difficult to locate our room numbers. To our disappointment, one of the rooms was not ready. While we would understand an early check-in issue at 2:00 PM, finding an unprepared room at 6:30 PM is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The overall service was a major letdown. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, breakfast has a good selection.”

„First of all I would like to thank the 2 young women on daytime reception for their help, particularly in translating- I speak neither Chinese nor *******. When I stayed, this hotel had huge clientele, - even though the National Holidays were over- many coaches and minibuses. With so many people there for one reason - walking in the Yading National Park - breakfast had a base-camp feel, as people rushed to get to the mountain or the airport. The situation of the hotel is good just outside Shangri-la Town (and right next door to the hospital) It is convenient to get to the scenic area whilst staying at a relatively low height...altitude sickness being a risk at these heights. The room was cosy and warm.”

„Located in Xianggelila Zhen (formerly known as Riwa), the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Yading Tourism Passenger Transport Terminal. If you're arriving by long-haul bus, make sure to buy tickets to Yading, not Daocheng. The Daocheng bus station is about 2 hours away, and you would need to take a shared taxi or another bus to get here. Also, it's best to buy your return ticket in Chengdu, as purchasing tickets at the Yading station can be a bit of a hassle. As a Muslim traveller, I found two halal restaurants within a 3-minute walking distance, located behind the hotel. To get to the Yading scenic area, you can easily catch a yellow minibus for 10 yuan one way, or ask the hotel owner to help arrange transport. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner and his daughters were very kind and helpful, even though they didn’t speak English. Their warm gestures truly touched my heart. The only downside is that there is no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Other than that, everything was great. Highly recommended for solo female travellers. If I ever come back to this area, I would definitely choose the same hotel again.”

„川西到麗江途中特意加了稻城亞丁，一直想來的地方，酒店也是臨時定的，很超預期，第一天晚上到的非常晚，加上高反，下車的時候感覺不是很好，前台一個藏族姑娘小小瘦瘦的主動跑出來幫我們拎了兩個大箱子，真的非常感謝，而且因為太晚了沒吃飯，小姑娘還給我們專門燒水泡麪，非常感謝信，所以必須很認真的給酒店特別是前台小姑娘點個贊，稻城的美景是一直想來看的，但是酒店的細心與貼心給這次旅途增色不少，必須給個手工五星好評和感謝”

KKting844Absolutely wonderful homestay and hostess! I was travelling alone and suffered some altitude sickness and the hostess was so kind. She organised the oxygen machine so I could sleep and recover from the sickness. I stayed 2 nights originally and loved it so much i went back later and stayed another night.The rooms are extremely comfortable, great hot water pressure, excellent heating. The hostess speaks excellent English and also can organise carpooling with taxis to reach Yading. I highly recommend to anyone travelling to Daocheng.

YYong Liang TehFor the price, the hotel is really value for money. The service is excellent and the hotel staff will promptly attend to your request. The lady boss even took the trouble to notify us when she noticed that our car lights were left on when parked. The bath is also good with rain shower and strong water pressure. There is also free laundry service and the staff provided extra hangers for drying the washed clothes. The bed heater is warm enough for a good night's sleep in cold weather. Breakfast provided is decent and hot. You can also buy oxygen at a super cheap price from the front desk. Besides the room decor being a bit dated and some maintenance are needed, this hotel provides everything you need at a really affordable price.

GGośćThe location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street. Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops. The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet. The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird. He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。 Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture. The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny. I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading. Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one. Best wishes to Owner and his Sister with excellent business ahead.

Podczas zameldowania miła ******* pani w recepcji bez dodatkowych kosztów zmieniła standard mojego pokoju. Miejsce jest czyste, ponad typowe chińskie standardy. Jeśli chcesz grzejnik, kosztuje 5 RMB za noc, ale koc elektryczny był wystarczający. Woda jest ciepła, ale nie parząca (osobiście biorę prysznic tylko w temperaturze +45 stopni, ale wystarczała, aby umyć twarz bez dyskomfortu). Byłem bardzo zadowolony z pobytu, więc następnego ranka zarezerwowałem kolejną noc, zamiast zatrzymywać się w mieście Yading. GGuest UserThis is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!
