„First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back. P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China.”

„A new residency. Overall a cozy and clean stay with carpark provided. Check-in and check-out assisted by security guard. Need deposit before the key is shared and deposit is returned after check-out. No water dispenser. Kitchen utensils provided.”

I would especially like to thank the Chinese-speaking front desk staff member, who looked Malay, for her patience and excellent explanation in Chinese. „I researched a lot of hotels in Ipoh. Most hotels are spread out around the Ipoh “downtown”. If you’re arriving on a bus from KL, the bus terminal Amanjaya is 9km away. 20 mins on the local bus will take you to Terminal Kidd and it’s a 15 mins walk to M Boutique. I wouldn’t suggest this option if you have a lot of suitcases as the walk is on the main roads with cars and truck zipping past. Location is surrounded by industrial and car dealerships, but once arrived you’re surprised! They live up to their name - Boutique! They have been in that location for 13 years. Staff are friendly and helpful! Room (single room with no windows) was clean and comfortable and provided the amenities after a long day on the bus. And the hotel - SMELLED nice. Like a high end hotel. It was a nice treat if you’re a solo traveler looking for comfort on a budget. I tried to extend an extra night, however Trip were only showing double and twin rooms - out of my budget for a solo traveler. Asking at reception if the single room was available, they checked and I paid directly to hotel for a 2nd night. Your loss Trip! Hotel amenities were great. Hot shower, WiFi and air conditioning working. It’s a 10-15 min walk to the old city. When I arrived around 4 PM, a lot of things are already closed and quiet. Walking around in the dark back to the hotel was a little uneasy, but you can easily just arrange a car to GRAB. Highly recommended!”

„We stayed at Wyndham Garden Suites Ipoh City Centre for one night and had a very pleasant experience. We booked the 2-bedroom suite, which comes with 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, and basic cutlery — very convenient and comfortable, especially for families or small groups. The room was very clean and well maintained. The mattresses were solid and comfortable, giving us a good night’s sleep. Everything felt neat, functional, and thoughtfully arranged. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely hope to come back again next time we’re in Ipoh.”

„Wonderful experience for a one-night stay at AC Hotel for a quick look around Ipoh Town whilst travelling from Penang back to KL. Room was clean and comfortable to stay, games room is nice too for my kids to hang around for some time. Free parking available, just validate it at the receptionist counter prior leaving the facility.”

„The hotel room is clean and comfortable. Although the room is small, the air conditioning is efficient. There are no foul smells. The hotel provides a mini fridge, ironing board, hair dryer, digital safe, towels, toothpaste and toothbrush. The soundproofing is weak as you can hear the cars from the street. Location wise it is only 10 minutes drive to Ipoh town or to Aeon Station 18. There are many shops around the hotel such as Family Mart and Mixue. Overall it is a comfortable hotel with great value for a short period of stay.”

„The hotel located at the busy road area but the moment you enter the hotel it feels like you're entering the whole new world. The chill ambient, cozy and warm atmosphere occupied the whole parameters. Staff are superb especially the front desk - Kaushilliya. The room offers generous amount of amenities and you won't miss out the excitement. The cons i noticed is just that the gym were close. Kudos to the hotel management and surely will back here on the very next trip to Ipoh.”
