„Stayed 2 nights at this lovely place. Hotel was very near the train station and within walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. The staff at this hotel were warm and I felt really taken care of. We were able to understand each other with simple English and Japanese. My room was spacious and had a great view of the sea and sunrise! The onsen in the room was big and I had a good time soaking in it. On my check out day, the staff gave me a back of kiwis that were farmed by the owner of the hotel. Would love to come back here again when I have chance!”

„It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!”

„A simple hotel but it has everything you need. Definitely better to stay here than in a guest house that you share with others or a small cramped capsule if you are solo travelling. The room itself was very spacious. If I come back to Ito, I will book here again.”

„Kira no Sato is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Japan, period. I’ve never stayed in a traditional Japanese style hotel but it totally blew my mind. The gardens, onsen, guest rooms, restaurants…everything’s exquisite. It is like an onsen theme park. 5-star service the minute since you got on the hotel’s shuttle bus. There’s stairways leading up to my room. Hotel staff offered to help me on their own. The room is mainly made of wood but it is kept in excellent condition. The bed is large and soft. The food beats 90% of Japanese hotels I’ve stayed in.”

„新開業的酒店 一切設施都很乾凈 接待的爺叔也讓人很親切 酒店周邊都是別墅 很安靜 門口的大路是櫻花大道 可惜櫻花季基本過去以及前幾天下過一場雨 所以少了很多 晚上泡温泉♨️ 超級舒服 正好洗去玩了一天的疲累感 下次來伊豆玩 還打算定這裏”

„The traditional hotel. Mostly of the visitors are local people. The host was very nice to me. I have tattoos and the host gave me pass to a private onsen. Will come back to this place. Also have a great breakfast with traditional sea food meals.”

„I rarely write reviews, but this guesthouse was so incredibly comfortable that I just had to express my genuine feelings, haha! 😄 First, I have to rave about the owner's cooking – it truly tasted like home! 😭 On the evening of our arrival, after the owner picked us up and took us to the guesthouse, I was so hungry that I asked them to make some biangbiang noodles. Wow, they were absolutely amazing! Easily the best biangbiang noodles I've ever had! 😭 I immediately ordered them again for lunch the next day! Then, the breakfast the next day had both Western and Chinese options and was also delicious 😋 – it really energized us for the day's travels! We also had dinner at the guesthouse, because as an international student, I was really craving some authentic home cooking. Eating dinner there, it truly felt like ages since I'd had a proper home-cooked meal like that 🥹. Finally, for lunch before we checked out, we had handmade dumplings 🥟 which were also so delicious 🤤, and so fresh! They even gave us a complimentary dish of sweet and sour pork ribs! So happy! 🥰 Secondly! I'm so grateful to the owner for taking us to Mount Omuro and for picking us up late at night to go to the hot springs near Izu Kogen Station ♨️ – it was so relaxing! The owner was just incredibly enthusiastic about driving us back and forth to the station! Of course, the guesthouse environment itself is also impeccable – beautiful, high-class, comfortable, clean, and tidy, full marks! In short, when Mount Omuro turns green again, I'll definitely come back to Izu and stay here! 😋”

„The room is large, with a separate wet and dry toilet and bathroom. The hot spring bath is open-air, and mosquito coils are thoughtfully provided. You can also lie on a lounge chair next to it and watch the stars and listen to the sound of the waves. The hotel's breakfast is delicious and highly recommended. The hotel is very close to the beach, only a three-minute walk away. I recommend taking a walk after a hearty breakfast.”

„Comfortable and modern onsen hotel with private baths in rooms, tasty and unique dinner and European style breakfast. In the room there are towels, yukata robes, some hygiene supplies except teeth brushes because the hotel tries to reduce plastic wastes. The hotel gifted a set for face and tea for a booking on a particular website. The hotel approximately in 10 mins from train station, and close to the sea.”

„結構良かったです！ ただ、夜はここまで行くのに山道があるのでそこだけ注意していれば大丈夫です。 古い建物を少しリノベしているので、古さを感じさせるものもありました。 東海バスで路線が少ないのが現状です、、 新町駅というとこで降りれば結構近い！”
