„I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.”

Nie tylko pokój był idealny, ale pracownicy byli pomocni w absolutnie wszystko. Urządzają samochody dla Ciebie z i do lotniska lub innych atrakcji turystycznych w mieście, , pomagają z Twoich walizek, i zawsze mają foo, przekąski i napoje dla Ciebie kiedy tylko chcesz. Poza tym, i to jest powód, dla którego myślę, że pracownicy są naprawdę wyjątkowi, pomogli mi odzyskać moją zgubioną walizkę z lotniska po przybyciu do hotelu, i nie musiałem się o nic martwić. Pomogli mi również zarezerwować bilety na górę śnieżną i potwierdzić lokalizacje DIDI. Zamówili również lekarstwo ze apteki, bo nie wiedziałem, jak to zrobić. I wreszcie, są one naprawdę najsłodszymi ludźmi, które kiedykolwiek spotkasz, i tak bardzo pomocne. Polecam ten hotel 1000000%.”

„Very good location and quite environment even close to the main street as located at the the small alley. Very prompt and friendly lady staff come to pick me from the ancient town entrance which is about 5min walks. The room is clean, spacious and have a great view to see the snow mountain. The amenties are complete included of disposable towel and face towel. The location is superb as it is about 5min walks from the entrance and around 7min aways from the Baisha gateway or busy street. The breakfast is very yummy and pretty. Highly recommend this hotel for location, price and view.”

Pemilik penginapan sangatlah ramah, sungguh membantu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kami, kebetulan kami menginap tepat ketika pacar saya berulang tahun. Saya meminta pemilik hotel untuk menerima kue ulang tahun sebelum saya tiba di hotel dan membantu menyiapkan dekorasi sederhana. Akan tetapi hasil dekorasi dan persiapan melebihi ekspektasi saya padahal saya menginformasikan ke pemilik hanya beberapa jam sebelum saya tiba di hotel. Jika saya berkesempatan kembali ke lijiang. Saya pasti akan kembali lagi ke hotel ini dan menginap lebih lama di penginapan ini”

„My daughter and I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel. The biggest selling point of the hotel is the location. It is a 2 to 3 minute walk from Baisha Ancient Town, where we were spoilt for choices in terms of food. We were able to see an unblocked view of the Yulong Snow Mountain from hotel's rooftop. We managed to catch the sunrise from the rooftop and the view was spectecular! Breakfast was rather tasty and the reception staff also gave suggestions on where we should visit. The room was extremely spacious - no worries about tripping over luggages! However, our laundry experience was not the best as the dryer took several hours to dry our clothes even though it stated that the process would take 1h 40 mins. The clothes were not completely dry even after we collected our clothes. We had to manually use the hair dryer to dry our clothes. Thankfully, the hair dryer was extremely powerful and we mananged to dry all our clothes.”

„Traveling to Lijiang with my family, I chose Kairan primarily for its proximity to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. We stayed for two nights. The day before check-in, they created a WeChat group and offered free pick-up service. The staff were already waiting at the entrance to help with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple yet comfortable design, and offered a direct, expansive view of the snow-capped mountain. The complimentary courtyard afternoon tea was absolutely amazing! During our stay, services like laundry pick-up/delivery and coffee orders were handled promptly. The service was superb. Both the beautiful scenery of Lijiang and the stay at Kairan have become wonderful memories. We'll definitely be back!”

„Very welcoming and friendly staff that brings us back and forth baisha ancient town. They even sent us a list of good food recommendations ! And….. their cat Lele is sooooo adorable. We love the hotel breakfast too❤️ We had really great time staying here . Really hope to visit again if there’s a chance. We don’t get to see the nice view of the mountains😢 but we meet great people here so it’s worth the stay. And one thing that made us so in love with, is the heater they placed under your mattress…. We slept like a baby.”

„A hidden gem of a guesthouse right next to Baisha Ancient Town! The overall design is upscale and aesthetically pleasing, and the courtyard lawn is perfect for photos. The direct view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is absolutely stunning, and the cleanliness is impeccable. It's quiet and peaceful at night. The room details are excellent, with tea provided, and the mini-fridge is stocked with drinks. The service from everyone at the property is superb. This was the most pleasant surprise of our entire Lijiang trip! We even happened to be there during the Torch Festival, which was very lively, and the locals were incredibly welcoming. The guesthouse is right next to Baisha Ancient Town, and parking is convenient for those driving. The distant views of the snow-capped mountains are incredibly therapeutic. The public areas are super photogenic. The room looks exactly like the online pictures. The owner is incredibly kind, warm, and generous; they even offered us fresh local fruit upon arrival. The room was also very clean and tidy, and they even offer two pillow choices – the memory foam pillow was so comfortable. This was the best night's sleep we had from Dali to Lijiang. Highly, highly recommend!”

„To miejsce zamieszkania było naszym najlepszym pobytem w czasie naszej podróży do Yunnan. Przede wszystkim pracownicy są niesamowici, bardzo przyjazne i pomocne. Oferowali nam wskazówki, aby zarezerwować nasze wizyty na różne atrakcje. Bardzo praktyczne było zadać nam wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy, a personel był bardzo szybki do odpowiedzi. Po drugie, nasz pokój był po prostu niesamowity. Był bardzo przestronny i czysty, z niesamowitym widokiem na górę śnieżną Yulong. Była urządzona z gustem i toalety o bardzo dobrej jakości. Po trzecie, cieszymy się lokalizacją obok gospodarstwa, na głównej ulicy Baisha, ale z dala od hałasu i trzęsienia ziemi, ponieważ hotel jest dalej niżej ulicy. Śniadanie i nocne przekąski były pyszne! Dziękuję wam chłopaki, naprawdę cieszyliśmy się naszym pobytem”

„This gorgeous hotel at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, exceeded my expectations! Very friendly and helpful reception, and as a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese, I really appreciated everyone’s hospitality, including the owner who speaks English. My room was beautiful, and equipped with all amenities needed. The location is great, close to many attractions and it was surprisingly easy to get a taxi each time. The vibe of the hotel is truly unique - quiet, solitude, happy farm-style! The animals all have their own little “hobbit houses,” and are living their best lives at this beautiful, clean hotel. Furthermore, the snacks and afternoon tea was delicious and presented very well. I had so much fun doing the travel photo shoot at the hotel, and watched in awe as the sun rose over the mountain very morning.”
