„The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the cleaning service was quick and efficient! The hotel even gave me a free upgrade to a higher floor and a river view room, offering a beautiful panoramic view of the river and bridges. By the window, there was a thoughtful little table perfect for eating takeout, and enjoying a milk tea while gazing at the stunning river scenery was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable – truly embodying the happiness of travel. The shower in the bathroom was simple and easy to use. The hotel's location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the Line 1 subway station. Taxis to major popular attractions take about ten minutes. On the way to the subway station, there are noodle shops and ”Tea Yan Jia Zu” (a popular tea shop chain). The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning fan was a bit noisy, although the hotel sometimes adjusted the fan speed. I hope they make more improvements in the future.”

„The hotel, opened in 2025, truly boasts new facilities. Transportation: It's close to the subway, just across the street. The hotel is right next to Qiao Ba Die, a popular Hunan restaurant, and their food is excellent (though a bit spicy). Facilities: The room has full voice control, just call out to 'Xiao Wei' to manage everything. The TV supports screen mirroring, and the room provides comfortable, thick-soled, thick-surfaced eco-friendly slippers. Service: The front desk staff were wonderful, very friendly and attentive, and helped resolve any issues promptly. The lobby also offers fruit tea, which I always grabbed a cup of when returning. All in all, this was a very satisfying stay during my trip to Changsha, definitely five-star worthy!”

„I stayed in room 3210. The room was reasonably clean and spacious enough, but I was still a bit disappointed. There was no power outlet near the computer desk, so I had to move the table to find one. While the room amenities, like the river-view bathtub, matched the description, the layout of this room type was quite perplexing. I really need to complain about the breakfast. There were no options to choose from; they just delivered it to your room at a set time. While it meant I didn't have to go to the restaurant, having no choice and the same breakfast every day was a letdown. It just didn't feel worth the price.”

If you are a non smoker request the non smoking floor as we were originally placed in a smoking room on a smoking floor and you could smell smoke coming into your room at all hours of the night. But once I spoke to the ladies at reception they went above and beyond to change our rooms and make us feel comfortable. Thank you.”

„I ordered food late at night and there was no robot to deliver it to the room, so I called the front desk if they could bring it to the room. They refused and told me to get it myself. After going to the lobby I see the receptionist talking to the assistant, both of them are clearly not busy. Sure, I can get the food myself but when I'm paying the price for an Intercontinental hotel I would expect top tier service. And I've had hotel assitants bring the food to my room in chinese hotels that costs less than half the price of this one. Besides that, the hotel looked nice, and the room was good. The location is not really great if you plan to walk anywhere, but with a taxi it's acceptable. The view is pretty good if your room is facing south. Facing north (even with river view) it's not that spectacular.”

長沙的梅雨天太適合泡酒店了，這次邂逅了這家非常棒的酒店！首先地理位置絕佳，就在梅溪湖旁邊，從房間窗户就能看到湖景和城市天際線，酒店的服務人員非常專業熱情，從入住到退房全程體驗都很順暢，前台還主動幫忙升級了房型，經理和管家看我一個人帶着寶寶都很照顧我們，排查房間裏的安全隱患，給寶寶送來故事書、畫板還有玩具，真的太貼心了～ 再説到房間設計，現代又温馨，床品舒適，衞生間佈局我很喜歡，帶寶寶洗澡很方便，洗浴用品品質也不錯。早餐種類豐富，中西式都有，還有管家給我們預約了第二天的下午茶，這裏誇一下甜點師傅，甜點配紅茶真的很愜意，酒店還配有健身房和游泳池，設施都很新。 整體來説，無論是商務出差還是休閑旅行，這裏都是長沙住宿的優質選擇，下次逃離城市一定還會來入住！

We stayed in one of the Sheraton Yunda suites for our december Christmas trip to Changsha. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is very comfortable with excellent amenities. Breakfast was well organized with a very good selection of local and western foods. Miss 小秦 provided us with an excellent service and was very helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Changsha 😊

Absolutely incredible stay from the moment you step foot on the property and until you leave. The staff prepared a lovely card and gift in our room to celebrate our honeymoon. The hotel pool was a lifesaver during the 35+ heatwave. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety to choose from. Rooms are spotless, there are western TV channels and great soundproofing between rooms and to the street below.

We had an awesome stay at the hotel! It looks absolutely gorgeous and bougie feel. We were treated very warmly by the very friendly staff. Managed to get a free upgrade to a room directly overlooking Xiang River! The only thing is that the metro station is quite a long walk away from the hotel. Breakfast has a good spread for sure but food quality can be better and food can be made warmer. Will you stay there again!

I stayed for one night as part of a layover night in Changsha after getting off the high speed rail at night. Highly convenient if you need to access the high speed rail as the hotel is within walking distance to Changsha South Railway Station. Facilities were sleek and modern, and plenty of breakfast options.

Stayed at this hotel twice. Friendly and helpful staff. But room is humid and stuffy due to central heating. Rubbish bin wasn’t emptied during cleaning on 2nd day but room was cleaned. Toiletries amenities was not refilled as well. Overall still good. The laundry service is a plus point and also robot delivery to room too. Hotel is located just few steps away from station and direct line to airport or stations.

1) We asked to help with luggage’s and the bellman asked: “Do you have a lot of baggage?” I said: “of course”. Unwilling to help. No greetings. 2)Front desk: no greeting when approaching. Instead we greeted them with a “Hello, we have a reservation”. No one even said hello after we greeted the staffs. 3) Confusing ticket system. Took a long time to get tickets for the nearby parks.  4) Amenities: Water wasn’t hot enough to take shower in the first night. Smoking smell in the first 2 days across the building. AC were not cooling down the room instead just fan blowing in the last 2 days. What are great way to save operating costs.  5) Check out: still no greetings, we greeted them and said thanks. No thank you from anyone from the hotel.  6) Dining: Chinese restaurant offers great services and foods. Breakfast service is horrible. We paid and we thanked all the staffs, no one single staff said thank you. Except house keeping staffs, who are the only hotel members who are showing courtesy and respect.  Totally not recommending this hotel as the city has so many newly opened international branded hotels. This hotel is even worse than the InterContiental Changsha in terms of reception and concierge services. Definitely not come here gain. Bye Bye

Definitely the best hotel in Changsha or perhaps all of Hunan. The view from the 86th-93rd floor is the best part; suggest to book a river view to ensure you get at least a partial view of the river and of Juzizhou. The room is quite large as well, with a huge bathroom. Shower in particular is really big. Also has a bathtub with a view as well. Facilities wise, there is a pool and a gym, etc. but not as high up as as the actual hotel. Then there are the hotel restaurants and bar, which unfortunately I didn't have time to try out. There is also the IFS mall below which has everything you need. For me given the price it's an amazing bargain considering prices for similar hotels in places like Shenzhen or Guangzhou.

I was extremely impressed by the rooms, facilities and services provided by this hotel. Everyone from the front desk to the concierge went out of their way to help with everything. The rooms are large, bright and comfortable. I went there for the Alec Su concert, the hotel even put his cupboard cut-out in the lobby for us to take photos and played his songs! The location is very convenient for Mango stadium events and the hotel golf carts will drive you to the closest exit and you can walk there in 5 minutes. I will definitely stay here again for concerts.

5 Stars – Exceptional Stay at Meixi Lake Hotel We had a fantastic stay at Meixi Lake Hotel, A Luxury Collection, in Changsha. Our Grand Deluxe Suite on a high floor was spacious, beautifully designed, and featured sweeping views of Meixi Lake — even from the shower and bathtub, which was a unique and luxurious touch. Watching TV from the bathtub was an unexpected delight. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful and relaxing stay. The second-floor Chinese restaurant served excellent cuisine, and Manager Alice provided outstanding service that truly enhanced our dining experience. We also appreciated the warm hospitality of Manager Evan He, who not only recommended a superb local restaurant but also made the reservation for us — the food there was outstanding. We enjoyed a peaceful walk around the lake, visited the nearby Meixihu Cultural Art Center, and made use of the hotel’s well-equipped fitness center and relaxing sauna. Highly recommended for both comfort and service — a true luxury experience in Changsha.
