The room was clean and spacious with a nice view. The location was great, as it is conveniently located near Nagoya Town. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of choices. The coffee at the restaurant was also very nice. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our experience. We will definitely come back again the next time we visit Batam!

My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable — I slept so well every night! Air-conditioning worked perfectly, hot water was strong, and all amenities were in great condition. Everything felt modern, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping everything tidy and refreshed daily.

I had pretty high hopes for Mövenpick Bintan since it’s so highly raved about on Instagram, so unfortunately the actual experience felt quite underwhelming. Our first room came with its own “built-in waterfall” — water was literally dripping down the wall. We were told it was condensation because we had left the balcony door open for too long, but honestly… is 3 minutes too long? They came to clean it up, which we appreciated, but it continued dripping throughout the night and the next day. Things on the table became wet, there were puddles on the floor and the whole room just felt damp. We eventually requested a room change the following day, which they accommodated, although the process took a few hours. My kids were also really looking forward to feeding the fish, but throughout our entire 3D2N stay there was no fish food available. We asked from Day 1 and were repeatedly told they were replenishing it, but it never happened. The facilities also felt poorly maintained. Two out of three pinball machines in the arcade were not working, and one player side of the Pac-Man machine was spoilt. The Kids Club closes at 6pm, after which there is very little for young kids to do. There also weren’t many organised activities during our stay, not even simple things like sandcastle activities. A number of the more interesting activities are separately chargeable, including the motorised bikes, water scooters and cold plunge. I don’t mind paying for additional activities, but combined with the limited complimentary activities, it made the overall resort experience feel less value-for-money than expected. The resort is also very spread out, so getting around often requires waiting for a buggy. That said, there were definitely things we enjoyed. Breakfast had a crazy amount of selection and variety — probably one of the highlights of the stay! We were also there to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel prepared a lovely anniversary set-up for us, which was a very thoughtful touch. The staff did try to resolve our room issue as well, and we appreciated their efforts. Overall, it feels more like an older hotel that has been renovated rather than a genuinely new resort. Having previously stayed at another family resort in Bintan, I found that experience more polished despite it having fewer facilities on paper. Given the hype surrounding Mövenpick, I expected a more polished family resort experience.

Our stay at Montigo Resorts was nothing short of magical. From the moment my fiancé and I arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury, comfort, and romance. We booked a stunning two-bedroom villa featuring its own private pool, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. The villa was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and offered the perfect sanctuary for a romantic getaway. Having a private pool just steps from our bed allowed us to enjoy quiet, intimate swims at any time of day, completely undisturbed.Inside the villa, the attention to detail was remarkable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and filled with natural light. One of the absolute highlights of the accommodation was the deep, luxurious bathtub. After a long day of exploring and activities, soaking in the tub became our favorite way to unwind and relax together. The housekeeping team deserves immense credit for keeping every corner of our villa pristine throughout our stay, ensuring we never had to worry about a thing.Beyond the beautiful room, our trip was packed with memorable experiences. We are a couple that loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, so we decided to try the ATV riding offered at the resort. It was an absolute blast. Racing through the trails together brought a fantastic rush of adrenaline and added an exciting, adventurous spark to our romantic vacation. The staff guiding the ATV experience were professional, safety-conscious, and made sure we had the best time possible.Of course, no luxury stay is complete without great food, and Montigo Resorts delivered perfectly on that front. Our package included a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, which quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The spread was incredibly generous, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the live cooking stations to the fresh pastries and tropical fruits. Starting our mornings together over a delicious, hearty breakfast with beautiful resort views set the perfect tone for the rest of our day.What made this trip truly amazing was how seamlessly the resort blended high-energy fun with peaceful romance. Whether we were splashing around in our private pool, getting mud-soaked on the ATV tracks, or relaxing in our spotless villa, every moment felt special. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel valued from check-in to check-out. It was the perfect escape for me and my fiancé, allowing us to connect, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy a flawless blend of luxury and adventure. We left Montigo Resorts feeling completely refreshed and deeply in love with the place, and we already cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

Very good service. Pool looks dirty and shallow. Breakfast had a variety and decent tasting. Hotel had a convenient minimart downstairs, staffed by a cute fluffy kitty! Hotel also has a good central location, many attractions are within easy reach. Around walking distance from the hotel are Nagoya Hill mall, and an area between fave hotel, Thamrin Food Court and Astons Nagoya. That area has a good satay stall and many massage outlets. Many more food options and more minimarts are also available there!

This hotel's only redeeming quality is its value for money. It's right by a nice beach and next to a small square. The room, however, was a letdown. It looked newly renovated, but probably just refurbished. The first room we were given had a flooding issue; less than two minutes into a shower, water was already pooling around the toilet... The worst part was when the exhaust fan from the ceiling suddenly fell down... I was speechless. They eventually moved us to another room, which felt like it was hastily cleaned, and the hygiene wasn't great. What's more, it took two and a half hours from the repair attempt to getting a new room, which meant we barely had any proper rest on the first night. Their problem-solving efficiency was truly poor. The manager only replied to my email about resolving the issue after 7 PM on the second night, by which point we were no longer interested in their solutions. On the positive side, the breakfast menu changed daily, and they even made latte art with good-tasting coffee. The staff in both the rooms and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Honestly, if it weren't for the mishaps on the first night and the hotel's inefficient way of handling issues, this trip would have been perfect.

The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm.

At Nirwana Garden Resort, staff are friendly and genuinely nice. The beach is clean and clear waters that you can see fishes swimming around you… and watch sunset in the sea waters. Its windy and cool in the morning and evening. Food offered at good, esp the lamb shank stew. Also have nice spa - go for the Javanese massage! There are also 3 iguanas kept at the resort. We also went bowling and archery. At night we also went out for fireflies watching and kelong restaurant dinner.

We stayed at The Residence Bintan for 2 nights and booked two different types of rooms for each night. Our second-night stay was at the One-Bedroom Beachfront Villa, which came with an excellent sea view and a private pool. We truly enjoyed our stay. The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. As we had booked two different room types, there would normally have been a three-hour gap between checking out of our first room at 12pm and checking into the second room at 3pm. However, before we checked out of our first room, we received a call from the reception informing us that our second room was already ready. We were therefore able to check in directly without having to wait for another three hours. This thoughtful arrangement made our stay even more enjoyable. On our last day, our ferry was scheduled to depart at 7am, so we had to leave the resort as early as 5am. The Residence Bintan kindly arranged transportation to the ferry terminal and even prepared packed breakfasts for us. We were genuinely touched by their thoughtfulness and hospitality. ❤️ From the warm service and excellent facilities to the beautiful views, The Residence Bintan made our anniversary trip truly memorable. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again! 🌴❤️
