Staying here felt like being welcomed into the home of a deeply cultured family. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks. Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares. The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food. This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

The environment of Taole Forest B&B is very good, quiet, very close to Shaolongguan, the room is warm, the heating is very good, especially warm. The young ladies have a good attitude and warm service. There is also a big fat cat called Red Bean, which is very cute. I will definitely stay here next time!

1: The room facilities are a bit old. For example, the room door doesn't close properly, there are many spots where the paint is peeling and large patched areas on the walls, and the shower door squeaks when opened. 2: The welcome fruit in the room wasn't fresh; it didn't look like it was from the same day or even the day before. 3: The variety of drinks at breakfast was very limited; besides the milk in the set menu, everything else seemed pre-made and cheap. 4: I suggest changing the shower gel brand and providing bar soap. The dead corners in the bathroom were in a worrying state, looking yellowed. Pros: Great for travel photography / The hotel's location and environment really embrace local characteristics, and there's absolutely no noisy disturbance / The delivery service for takeaways was very convenient.

The environment was incredibly cozy. My child and I were visiting Chongqing from out of town, and when we checked in, the front desk小姐姐 (young lady) personally helped us carry our luggage up the steps, smiling the whole time. They weren't much older than us, but it was our first stop in Chongqing and we immediately felt that the people here, just like the weather, were full of warmth.

We had a wonderful stay at this eco-lodge in Wulong. The eco-friendly cabins are thoughtfully designed, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings while still being comfortable and well equipped. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after visiting the nearby attractions. A special thank you to the owner, who is Cantonese. He was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He provided detailed advice on how to visit the national parks, recommended routes and attractions, and made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. If you are looking for a unique accommodation experience close to Wulong's spectacular scenery, this eco-lodge is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.

”I’ve seen comments saying that the cheaper single rooms in China tend to reek of cigarette smoke, but thankfully this hotel had no tobacco smell at all—that was a plus. That said, it didn’t feel as clean as the reviews suggested. Still, the owner was friendly, so I’d say it’s fine overall.”

This hotel is my top choice for business trips, offering excellent transport links. It's close to the subway, making commuting a breeze, and parking is completely free if you're driving. The airport shuttle service is always punctual and reliable. The daily breakfast buffet is hot and delicious, perfect for a good meal before heading out for the day. The rooms are quiet and tidy. Overall, it's perfectly suited for business travel.

My stay here exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom amenities were comprehensive, and the hot water was reliable, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The public areas were clean and spacious, giving the whole place a luxurious yet comfortable feel. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area. Highly recommend it to all travelers!

The room is very good, clean and tidy. It is located next to Hongya Cave and overlooks the entire Hongya Cave at night. The surrounding transportation is convenient and there are many delicious foods. I recommend it!

Traveling to Chongqing with two other families and our kids, booking this three-bedroom apartment was definitely the right choice! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and it came fully equipped with a washing machine, a full-length mirror, and a projector. Each family had their own private space without feeling cramped. We could walk to Jiefangbei and Hongya Cave, and there were tons of local snack shops and restaurants downstairs to choose from. The host was incredibly warm and patient. We all felt so comfortable and at ease during our stay. Highly recommend this for families traveling together!
