I had a wonderful stay at Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay. Everything about this hotel was excellent—from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the high level of service provided by the staff. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long day.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and every detail felt carefully considered. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, which truly enhanced the overall experience.
The only minor downside is that the hotel is a little far from the city center. However, transportation is still convenient, and the peaceful location can actually be a plus for guests who prefer a quieter environment away from the crowds.

Imperial Hotel Osaka is a stunning tribute to old-school Art Deco charm, seamlessly combined with timeless elegance. From the moment you step into its grand lobby, you are transported back to an era of classic luxury, where meticulous attention to detail and impeccable service reign supreme. The interiors are adorned with rich wood finishes, gleaming marble floors, and vintage light fixtures that capture the essence of 20th-century sophistication. Yet, the hotel manages to remain refreshingly modern, offering world-class amenities and contemporary comforts without sacrificing its nostalgic allure.
The riverside location adds to its grandeur, providing breathtaking views that perfectly complement the opulent ambiance. Dining is an experience in itself, with exquisite culinary options that mirror the hotel’s commitment to excellence. Staff members are attentive, gracious, and ever-ready to enhance your stay with personalized service that harks back to a bygone era of hospitality.
Imperial Hotel Osaka is more than just a place to stay—it’s a journey through time, enriched by elegance and tradition. Whether for a luxurious getaway or a sophisticated business trip, this iconic hotel remains a timeless masterpiece of comfort and style.

Good hotel with spa with mediocre services.
The room was neat, clean and feeling new.
However, staffs are not familiar with English, not even talking Mandarin. Using the translator with poor voice input was troublesome and sometimes it interpreted wrong meanings.
Room service if missed will not be provided again on that day.
Also, there were many spa-only visitors simply lying on the spa floor.
Parts of the male spa were under construction and one night there were no 40 degree Celsius or higher pool as they were all under cleaning at the same time.
The ground of the spa was very slippery, mostly because many visitors did not bother to rinse themselves well after using the conditioner.
The breakfast buffet is good in terms of food choices and environment. But I dislike the scrambled eggs, which had a texture tasted awful.

Właśnie wróciliśmy z pobytu w hotelu New Otani i było absolutnie cudownie!
My stay at the Royal Hotel was excellent. The highlight was the complimentary shuttle bus to Osaka city, which ran every 15 minutes and made getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's location is also great, with a 7-Eleven and restaurants right downstairs on B1 – perfect for snacks and meals. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Osaka.

Located in the heart of Shinsaibashi, making it very convenient and ideal for travelers who want to explore the area. The room is not large, but it is quite comfortable. I also enjoyed the 24/7 sauna and onsen on the top floor, and the view from there was lovely.
I accidentally left a personal belonging after check-out, and the team was very helpful in assisting me. However, the breakfast could be improved (as shown in the photo), as it was not particularly impressive.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second,
upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.
GGuest UserLocated from the 33rd to 55th floors in West Umeda, this hotel offers an artistic, luxurious ambiance with panoramic views.
📍 The location is excellent, with direct access to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, major transportation hubs in Osaka. Yet, the moment you step inside, all the city's hustle and bustle fade away. Downstairs, you'll find major department stores and an underground shopping mall. The joy of being able to drop off your shopping bags in your room immediately after a spree is one of the ultimate luxuries of travel. It's also incredibly convenient for traveling to Kyoto, Kobe, or Kansai Airport.
GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is quite old, I can say that it is well maintained and clean. Our room is very spacious by Japanese standards (given that Japanese hotels are notorious for having small rooms). The staff are very courteous and helpful. The location is good, around 10 minutes walk from the subway station. It is also nearby a lot of malls and restaurants. I think the only downside for me is that the use of some facilities (such as swimming pool and gym) requires additional charge.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: The lobby is very stylish, though the room is a bit small, especially the bathroom where there's hardly space to turn around. However, the bed is huge, made of two single beds pushed together, and it was the most comfortable sleep I had on this trip.
Cleanliness: It's very clean.
Ambiance: It's considered one of the more upscale hotels in the area, with many foreign guests staying here.
Service: Overall, the service was very satisfying.
Location: The location is also very convenient; Hankyu + Lucua are all you need for shopping.
MMeiky FuThis is a historic Japanese-style inn. It's a 3-minute walk from Ami Station on the Nankai-Koya Railway. The environment is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable. Dinner is served in the room, and the dishes are elegant and delicious.
The indoor onsen (hot spring) is a small, simple bath.
RraiderFacilities: The classic quality of a long-standing luxury brand.
Hygiene: Impeccable, as expected in Japan.
Environment: Right above the railway station.
Service: First-class service quality! Surrounded by amazing food options! An indispensable choice when in Umeda! However, it's a bit pricey and the rooms are a bit small.
GGuest UserConvenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700¥) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24.
This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.
ZZHGKI originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. When I told the front desk, they were dismissive, merely saying someone would come to collect it, without even an apology. Later, while we were out, they left two boxes of Pocky biscuits... truly perfunctory. Then, we went to the Living Room on the third floor for drinks, and the server was practically bowing to Caucasian guests, while being very dismissive towards us. Around 10 PM, I called their 24/7 Whatever/Whenever service for an extra duvet, and they told me they had none left. The next day, I ordered room service through the Bonvoy app, and since I couldn't find the order on the web version, I called again to confirm. They said they'd call me back after checking with room service, but the meal arrived and I never got a call back. It felt like they didn't care about their guests at all. Also, the suite's minibar is entirely chargeable, and there are no additional services. It really felt like I paid a hefty price just to rent the room itself. I can't really praise the service from a five-star Marriott-branded hotel. This review is a heads-up for anyone considering booking this hotel. Though I doubt W Osaka will care about my review; they're always fully booked and don't lack customers. Oh, and the front desk concierge who spoke Chinese were all from Taiwan.
FFrancesca CindyHad a wonderful stay, room is spacious, link to a mall sheltered. A junction away from Yodobashi Mall and Umeda Train station.
The rooms are reasonably big. Love the bathroom. Separate beds are slightly bigger than single beds. Linens are luxurious high thread count. Room Flooring is semi wood and carpeted. Coffee and Tea are complimentary, comes with full set of in room requirements, ironing set, luxurious bathrobe, bar fridge, comfy bedroom slippers, safe, V Sassoon hair dryer, full bathing and vanity kit, toilet cubicle is separate by a door, bath tub is of good size, separate shower water pressure is fantastic. Motorised linen blinds, daily bottles of water
Here’s my favourite: Facilities include 24hrs of fully equipped gym all machines including leg machines, bar and free weights, gym balls, foam rollers, treadmill, elliptical, bicycle etc.
Use of Bathhouse and indoor swimming pool included as part of the booking. Spa facial and massage avail at a fee.
Lounge area is great with nice matcha latte. Had buffet breakfast in the morning, sufficient variety. Lotsa fruits choices.
Building is exclusive luxury. Initial check-in process can be better and less rigid. Pre-paid room type if unavailable, guests should be informed ahead prior to arrival. Somewhere between Trip.com and the hotel miscommunication should not affect the hotel guests traveling 12 hours to reach there.
Director of rooms Mr Liam Wynn Williams saved the day. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality to resolve the issue.
EEthan 777Patina Osaka faces Osaka Castle directly. It's not in the loudest commercial area, yet it maintains a perfect distance from the city's core. The hotel's design perfectly blends Japanese aesthetics with luxury. Check-in is completed in a dedicated seating area. My main complaint, however, is the breakfast; the selection is truly meager and doesn't match the room rate. I have a habit of collecting room key cards, and this hotel's card is quite special. When I asked a male staff member if I could keep it, I was told no. I worried there might be a miscommunication due to my English, so the next day I specifically asked a local friend to inquire in Japanese, and he was also told it wasn't allowed. When checking out, I, still hopeful, asked a female staff member at the front desk, who appeared to be from Southeast Asia. She gave me a satisfying answer and was very enthusiastic. This little detail isn't a complaint, just a share. Perhaps the young man was an intern and wasn't fully aware. Ultimately, a pleasant outcome is all that matters.
