„Our stay at Naked Stables was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable for our whole family. We travelled as a family of six, including two elderly members and two kids, and the resort was perfect for all ages. There were plenty of engaging activities to keep everyone happy — from fishing, pottery, and crafts to outdoor experiences. The kids especially loved the horse riding and grooming sessions, which were thoughtfully organised and very safe. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa, which was luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom having its own bathtub was such a treat. The villa was beautifully decorated, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful surprise of decorations and cakes arranged for our son’s birthday — a gesture that made our stay extra special. Getting around the resort was effortless, as the buggy service promptly picked us up from the villa whenever we needed. We also loved having a lovely hiking trail right outside our villa, perfect for a peaceful morning. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the noodle station was a definite highlight for us. A special mention goes to Chuan Chuan the resident dog— friendly, gentle, and absolutely adored by our kids. Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness, making our stay both relaxing and joyful. We left with beautiful memories and cannot wait to return to Naked Stables again. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, nature, and meaningful experiences.”

„Normally book hotels which have opened within 6 months. This hotel states it opened in 2025 , but upon checking in there is no way it was opened in 2025. The finishes are worn, and it was cleanish but the bathroom just felt dirty with the black mould build up. Around it . It also felt somewhat mis-matched. The lobby is beautiful tho. And the free ice cream was delicious. The bedding was clean and comfy. But the first room I was given the bath mat had a stain what looked like blood. The second room reeked of old cigarette smoke I don’t know how in 2025 we are still allowing smoking in public establishments! The bedding smelt . Also the cleaning staff were quite rude when I asked for the bedding to be changed after waking up and realising there was a stain. Made me think there were bedbugs. She said no and then found ways to justify the stain and at its normal: that left a bad taste in my mouth. The breakfast was terrible for a westerner and a vegetarian, no cofeee no toast , no yoghurt”

„I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!”

Negative points for a supposedly 5 star hotel, there is no food ordering room services, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, & late night snacks. You can order local takeaways and delivery to hotel lobby. No hotel car services available, even when requested 1-2 days in advance, had to use local Didi services.”

„This is indeed a nice hotel with beautiful facilities, though there are things to improve , given the high price. Many comments mention that someone has added them on WeChat upon booking, communicating the details of the booking and reminding to make dinner reservations. Unfortunately , nobody has added me and I feel like we missed out many things because of that. For example, we didn’t know that every on-site activity is organized per certain hour , as we arrived around 3 pm we already missed most of them on that day. Also , because of the holiday, the famous castle Chinese restaurant was fully booked for dinner and the next day’s lunch so couldn’t appreciate it . We had to settle for a room service that had very limited options not to mention, was ridiculously overpriced . 300 yuan for three basic dishes like fried rice, stir-fried pork and pork ribs soup, small portions too. Pity. There was a buffet diner happening at another restaurant by the pool, but 460¥ per person seemed too expensive so we passed. Some other small things like broken locker in a changing room or plenty of leaves and trash from the trees in the pool that nobody bothered to clean - felt annoying, again, considering the price per night. I’d still recommend this hotel for visiting at least once in your life. Service is mostly very good, breakfast more than decent, the heated outdoor pool is lots of fun even with the dry leaves floating on it. They have a game room, “activity village” with many things happening all day round ( watch the time though ) , the room I booked was nothing special but had everything we needed. It’s convenient to move around the territory on a “buggy” , they are very efficient. Only if you have a choice , maybe don’t come here on a national holiday so overall experience would be better.”

Honestly, no elaborate review is really needed. Having just stayed here this past August for the summer holiday, and returning for a 3-night stay again for the National Day holiday less than two months later, that pretty much says it all. For domestic vacation destinations, InterContinental (洲际) is definitely one of the very few hotels—certainly fewer than three—that I would visit repeatedly within a short period. The hardware and scenery are simply flawless. As soon as Emily, the butler who took care of me last time, learned I was coming back for National Day, she arranged a room upgrade for one of the nights so I wouldn't have to pack up and switch rooms. Then, on the day of arrival, our lovely butler Landy had a bellhop waiting in the underground parking garage bright and early to help unload our luggage. She also recommended the complimentary hotel hiking tour. Climbing up to the hidden cave was a huge hit with the kids. The Freedom Island Tea Bar is open now too, perfect for anyone who loves to slow down and unwind. We stayed in the family lake-view room again, which comfortably accommodates four. Located well away from the central lake area, the hotel is wonderfully tranquil. There are no tourists wandering along the lakeshore, and far from the city's light pollution, we managed to catch sight of the Milky Way in East China's night sky once again, just like we did in August. The buffet dinner, the fish head soup at the Chinese restaurant, the breakfast—the quality and service were top-notch across the board. Even with the hotel fully booked, you could order noodles via your phone, and the waitstaff proactively asked about coffee preferences. That’s classic InterContinental standard right there. Our butler Landy checked in on us with genuine care from the very first moment we arrived, and even helped us secure a one-hour late checkout on our final day, letting us sleep in and leisurely pack our bags without having to rush.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and room service was always prompt. The robot delivery service was a convenient touch. The prices are very reasonable with no hidden fees, making it perfect for business travelers, couples, or short getaways. If you're staying in Jinhua,四季逸境 (Siji Yijing) is definitely the place to be – you won't be disappointed!

I've stayed here many times, and the service is always excellent. This time, it was a family trip, and my husband arrived at the hotel first. The hotel was busy, but the staff helped upgrade our room type. Special thanks to Benson & Sandy for their thoughtful service. The concierge staff were also very proactive in helping with our golf bags and luggage. I'll definitely be back for my next golf trip!

If you are considering a hotel around Xixi Wetland and looking at a budget of around 3,000 RMB per night, here are a few things you need to know about the Banyan Tree Hangzhou. 1. Booking Policy: Once you book via Trip.com, cancellation is not allowed after 30 minutes. Even if you book far in advance, you will still be charged a 50% cancellation fee. We only got them to cooperate through mediation by the 12315 consumer hotline, and even then, they only allowed a date change. This is quite rare for a 5-star hotel in China. Pay close attention to this and make sure not to book too far in advance. 2. Facilities & Dining: The facilities at the Banyan Tree now can only be described as resembling a rustic guesthouse (nongjiale). Occupancy seems very low, and the lazy uncles at the entrance completely ignore guests. If you want to grab dinner at night, you have to head out to a deserted area—there are only two restaurants, and some are closed on weekdays, serving only simple burger-style meals. The breakfast is barely on par with a 3-star hotel. 3. Signage & Service: Poor signage. The receptionist had an impatient attitude. The front desk area is tiny, the lobby lacks any fresh flowers or greenery, and the whole place gives off a vibe like it's about to go out of business. 4. Departure: After checking out, as our car drove out of the courtyard, the uncle standing at the entrance just stared blankly with zero reaction or traffic guidance. 5. Cleanliness: The corners of the room were not cleaned properly and were covered in dust. @ The Bright Side: If you live in a bustling city every day, are looking for absolute peace and quiet where you can escape from everyone, and don't care about service details, the Banyan Tree Xixi is a good choice. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

Our stay was excellent, and we especially want to commend our butler, Xiao Jiang. From pre-arrival communication and meeting us at the scenic area ferry terminal, to planning our itinerary and arranging dining and boat tours during our stay, she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout. She proactively anticipated our needs, even thoughtfully providing mosquito repellent. Her demeanor was warm and professional, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly welcomed in this water town. The hotel's architecture uniquely reflects silk culture, and the breakfast was delicious. Coupled with our butler's high-quality service, our trip was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely choose Silk Hotel again on our next visit.

After seeing all the great reviews, I hastily booked my trip to Wuzhen just the night before, and Jintang Inn definitely added a lot to the experience. The swaying sculling boat carried us into the water town of our Jiangnan dreams, starting a journey of peace and tranquility. The location of Jintang Inn is excellent, the room is great, the breakfast is delicious, and the reception service from Manager Zhao Runqiu was very thoughtful. Following the hotel's arrangements, we experienced a sound bowl healing session, feeling the physical and mental relaxation brought by the sounds. We visited the silk reeling workshop, which was quite impressive. The large loom actually required two people to operate; it took me a while to realize there was someone else sitting up top! ”If a child doesn't learn, cut the loom thread” – if it were me, I don't think I could bear to do it!

The environment is quiet and the activities are abundant. The mountain air is great, and there are golf carts to take you anywhere within the valley. This time, the pre-sale package included dining, spa, and a travel photoshoot, making it even more comprehensive and cost-effective. The room was spacious, and with the 3-day, 2-night package, you essentially didn't need any extra expenses to have a great time eating, drinking, and playing. The New Rui travel photography was also excellent; it was efficient, unlike the rushed schedules you find in city photoshoots. Outdoor natural light photography creates a different effect than indoor lighting, leading to more natural interactions. If you're driving, you can also visit Naked Castle for free. Although the Land Rover off-road experience for the entire route is charged, it's a very special experience and I personally think it's well worth it. The three days and two nights were very fulfilling, and the weather in September and October was also good. If there's a similar package next time, I'll definitely come again.

The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.   **Room Comfort:**   Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. **Facilities:**   The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine. **Service:**   The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out. **Room for Improvement:**   While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment. **Final Thoughts:**   This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.  In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages. Would we return? Absolutely!

It's understandable to encounter queues during holidays, but having a butler assist throughout the process made everything so much easier. From guiding us to parking, to luggage transfer, meal reservations, and tour recommendations – just getting us settled in and our luggage sorted already made for a great emotional experience. The hotel offers excellent privacy, and the rooms are quite spacious. We received a welcome fruit platter and disposable toilet seat covers. It would be even better if disposable bath liners were also provided.
