Hotel w pobliżu: Downtown Oklahoma City,Oklahoma City

This hotel was absolutely perfect for an overnight stopover in Oklahoma with super friendly staff and a large and comfortable room with large TV and available HDMI port for your own device. Rate was extremely competitive that included overnight parking. Location is excellent as only a few minutes from the entertainment hub that is Bricktown. The memorial gardens are also only a 15 minute walk away. Downtown Oklahoma is one of the cleanest cities I’ve visited in the US and the gardens are a testimony to the resolve shown by the city following such tragedy.

I liked this hotel. It’s nice, the lobby is nice, the sitting area is fabulous and has a big fireplace and comfy chairs. The staff were helpful. Bar food was okay. There was a lot of space to walk my 2 pups. Bed was comfortable and the a/c worked great.
Only con would be that there were a few little ants crawling on the wall by the desk, not near the bed, on the other side of the room. Probably an anomaly. They offered to come and take care of it but I didn’t want to breathe bug spray and I didn’t want to change rooms.

Very Good
GGuest UserEverything was great but the drain in the shower didn’t do well
GGuest UserThe location was perfect for my needs, right of of Shields and I-35 on the Service Road. If you need to go NB to I-240, taking Shields is a great alternative to getting back on I-35, because the traffic in that particular area tends to bottleneck. To go SB, just take the Service Road, cross 12th Street at the intersection, and get right on the interstate at the ramp. Manager was very friendly at check- in, and went out of his way to make sure I had an upstairs room, per my request. He even made sure that my room was at the end of the hallway by the stairs, so i could easily take my dog directly outside to do her business. All the staff that i encountered were very friendly and courteous. The room was large and very nice and clean, bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Bathroom was very clean- no stains or disrepair. I really liked the walk- in shower. I was even impressed that there little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and small bars of soap; the last couple of hotels I have stayed at said it had become too expensive to provide those. The only complaint, if I had to come up with one, was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. All in all my dog and I had a great stay. This will be my go-to motel when I need to come to the City again.
GGuest UserStaff was good...resettled us in a new room when sports teams moved in and we were left with banging and thudding from above and loud noise from the adjoining room that made it seem like they were IN our room. Elevator was straight across the hall and they had to let EVERYONE know their comings and goings. Door lock kept deactivating...had to have the xard re keyed a few times. Pain in the neck. Roll in shower had the shower head on the long part of the wall and held in place by a HAIRCLIP. Either had to cram into a corner where it SHOULD have been or turn it to face outward and flood the room, which had no drain. Even turned to the corner, the room still flooded. Rooms are tired looking...so is the lobby. I remember when Holiday Inn used to be THE brand. Not so anymore. Won't go back. But staff was accommodating and appreciated their help
GGuest UserVery colorful hotel and rooms. Staff is uber friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, no real storage areas (lots of hooks), no ice buckets and such but there are hot beverages in the lobby. The beds are awful for us--very hard, and the platform around them will get you in the leg every time as the mattress is way smaller than the platform. Hard for me due to my age, hard for my daughter due to disability. The showers, however, are AWESOME. I even took a picture of the shower head (Moen) to try to find one just like it for home. GREAT pressure, unusuallly good for any hotel. So if you like walk-in showers that you want to live in, this is the place for you! (And you'll need the heat after sleeping in the bed.) Daughter reports she understands Fred Flintstone's grumpiness a lot more after this weekend.
GGuest UserReally nice room but bed could have been more comfortable, especially the pillows. But that's an individual thing. Overall enjoyed the room--full fridge and dishwasher (if I'd had need of it), glassware, all that. The shower was my favorite. Walk in showers are a blessing to this old lady. I don't know why hotels even bother with the splash puddles they call bathtubs anymore. Who needs them? The cleaners need to pay attention to the soap dispensers in them though. Mine had no shower gel--bottle was totally empty--and I didn't have mine with me on this trip. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. I don't like boiled eggs, or the fake looking egg-pucks, so everything was pretty much carbs and more carbs--useless to a diabetic. Not a huge issue however. Lots of restaurants in the area.
GGuest UserHoliday Inn Express downtown Tulsa was an excellent location to stay for attending a concert at the BOK. About a 15 minute walk and they also had a small shuttle. We chose not to ride the shuttle back to the hotel because the line was too long. Our rooms were updated and very clean with ample towels and comfortable beds. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic with a wide selection of food including scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, sweet rolls, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, waffles and more. There was ample seating and everything was clean. The pool was very large and warm but no pool towels. I would definitely stay here again. They charge $19 for parking in the garage behind the hotel with easy access.
BBenChew26Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Holiday Inn from May 23 to May 25. The room (2 Queen beds) was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
A few areas could be improved. The air-conditioning unit was positioned very close to the bed and blew directly onto the person sleeping nearest to it, which made it somewhat uncomfortable during the night.
The breakfast was good with a decent selection of items, but the menu remained the same every day. A bit more variety would make longer stays even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would consider staying here again.
NNancyIt appears the managers live on the property. One would think they would maintain it better. Bathroom paint peeling. Carpet dirty. Odd chair in room had leather nearly peeled off - would not even make it as a Goodwill donation. We entered from three wide open doors - keyed but left open. Anyone could just walk into the place. Breakfast was awful. Two child type cereals. Toast with nothing to put on it - no butter, no jelly, just bread. Make your own waffles maker. Juice was not real juice. No hot chocolate. No tea. Ugh.
It appears Boarder's (Cobblestone) is expanding nationwide. Suggest they first maintain what they have.
DDINGDINGNothing to be discerning, the bed was comfortable and the room was big. The seafood restaurant next to the hotel is also delicious. We had a great evening here. recommend.
