2-Star hotele w: Jilin, China

I'm a british traveller with a Chinese wife. I'm mostly located in China and I speak the language. Hunchun is near to Russia and most of the guests were Russian. Some of the staff can speak a few words of Russian but not much. And no English! The Hotel itself is modern, clean and very technically equipped. The toilet seat is heated, and it flushes itself. The shower took a bit of working out, but once I had mastered it, it was possibly the best shower I'd had in years. The shower is partitioned from the rest of the toilet, which isn't always the case in China. There's an AI person who greets you in Chinese when you enter, but we couldn't work out what the purpose of this was. It didn't understand English and my wife couldn't get a lot of sense out of it in Chinese. But everything else worked, including the curtains which opened and closed remotely. The TV was large and of an excellent quality. The bed was firm, but not hard like some Chinese beds can be, and we slept very comfortably. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. My wife and I are diabetic, so we avoid sweet things. Although there was plenty of meat, vegetables and eggs to keep us going for the day, there was only sweetened coffee, sweetened milk tea and I think sweetened soy milk, in the drinks machine. We managed to get plain hot water out of the machine, but there was only paper cups provided, which was a disappointment considering the price we'd paid and the excellent standard of everything else. I would suggest a coffee machine and milk available at breakfast, and maybe a hot water urn and some tea bags. And some proper cups! I think a place of such good quality deserves a bit more of a variety of food. It was OK, but not great. Disappointing. For people on a low budget (like we were) one should bear in mind that the location isn't very central and it's a bus ride and a 25 minute walk, from the high speed rail station. Taxis are not very expensive but we don't have much money so we got local buses which are not very frequent. So I consider the location to be the most disappointing aspect of this hotel. Everything else was either fine, or excellent. We would definitely consider going there again in the future. It was also the only hotel that has allowed us the late checkout which I've been promised by Trip.com. Thank you!

The room was clean and hygienic, very close to all the surrounding commercial areas, and there were many great food options nearby. On the first floor, there's free coffee and a Korean ethnic clothing experience. For extended stays, they offer room cleaning, which was a nice touch. Overall, my experience was excellent! 👍🏻

The room is big and clean. The service staff took the initiative to upgrade our room. The service attitude is good. The bathroom is spacious, the shower water is strong, the location is very convenient, and it is very quiet at night. I stayed for one night and the experience was great. It was a good choice.

Like this hotel, I will write a good review for free. It is really cost-effective. This time I went to Yanji for a business trip. His facilities are very complete. The rooms are also beautifully decorated. The facilities are very good. The bathroom is dry and wet. Separate, projection, and the price is also favorable. Everyone must live here when you come to Yanji. The main parking is free and the parking space is convenient. Not far from the net red wall Yanda. If you see this comment when you pick a cost-effective hotel, you don’t have to pick it directly. It’s not good to follow up with me below.

This was an amazing stay! The guesthouse has a fantastic ambiance, and it was incredibly clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the toiletries were provided. The host was wonderful, easy to communicate with, and always responded quickly to any questions. The location is super convenient with easy access to transportation, dining, and shopping. The overall environment was quiet and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The room was cozy, spotless, and had great natural light. The host was thoughtful and attentive to every detail, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful and peaceful – perfect for unwinding. It was a fantastic accommodation experience, highly recommended! Nearby, we visited Enduri, Bainsong Sculpture Park, and Akisaka Duck Park, all within close proximity. We explored them all in the morning. We couldn't see Tianchi due to the weather, so the surrounding parks were a bonus. This guesthouse offers outstanding service; it truly adds value. My child left their phone at the high-speed rail station, and the guesthouse helped us retrieve it. Whatever we needed, they promptly resolved. Finally, the owner's little son even personally opened the car door for us and waved goodbye – so charming and cute! Wishing the owner great success in business!

I had a great time in Yánjí since I planned a lot of border excursions. I can speak both Korean and Chinese comfortably to navigate this region, which is also known as the Third Korea. The location of this place was great since it was in the city center across from Yanji University. (I was assigned room 1206.) I'm not sure which photos they're using for advertising, but my room looked far more beat up and outdated. I also killed a lot of small cockroaches that were roaming around the kitchenette area. Again, this was not a big deal for me since they weren't ginormous, but one huge cockroach did appear one day near the bathroom. It's one thing for the room to look somewhat different from the advertised photos, but please at least keep the space much cleaner. (The laundry machine was bonus, but I had to buy laundry soap next door at the convenience store. This should have been provided considering there was an empty soap box on the floor next to the machine.) The reason why I booked this place was to do frequent laundry rather than stay at a hotel... I traveled from NYC, so it wasn't like I was an average Chinese tourist from a domestic region. This was my first visit to China since 1996.05 and I used my 10-year China visa for the first time since I applied back in 2017.08. Note: I checked out the other rooms on the floor and they were much nicer than what I booked. I'm guessing those were listed on WeChat and the less attractive rooms are listed on here, etc. After I checked out by 12:00 noon, I stored my luggage next door at the convenience store for a few hours. They charged CN¥5/per hour… I paid CN¥15 since I knew 3 hours was all I needed before my flight.

The young ladies at the front desk were very serious and enthusiastic, and they chose a very quiet room. The whole house is smart home, and the Tmall Genie can listen to songs, and the experience is very good. The bedding is also very clean and comfortable, and the pillow has zero pressure and ordinary two choices. There are robots for takeaways. It is very convenient to take pictures in the folk garden. There is a small view at the entrance of the hotel. There is a rooftop on the fourth floor. You can take pictures. It is also very beautiful. You must choose to live here.

This stay at the ski villa in Jilin was an absolutely fantastic experience! Strong Design: The interior is beautifully decorated, showing meticulous attention to detail. Complete Facilities: The large-screen projector provides an excellent viewing experience, and the mahjong machine makes post-skiing relaxation even more enjoyable. High Comfort: The rooms are spacious and well-heated, keeping you very cozy. Excellent Amenities: It boasts a huge yard (perfect for barbecues in summer) and a superb location, very close to the ski resort, within walking distance.

Arrived at the hotel directly from the airport around 9 PM. The area was pretty deserted by then, but when we opened the door, the owner's British Shorthair, a chubby and friendly cat named Huaihuai, was there to greet us – absolutely adorable! The owner was incredibly welcoming, took us straight to our suite, and even showed us how to use everything in the room. We were completely blown away by the room itself. It was a suite with a separate walk-in closet, but the real highlight was the cabin-shaped room with a heated 'kang' (traditional Northern Chinese bed)! As southerners visiting Northeast China for the first time, it was a truly delightful and surprising experience. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is about a kilometer away from the two main dining areas, both north and south. However, it's a beautiful walk, and you'll find yourself there before you know it.

I chose this hostel for my solo trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The 8-person male dorm was very clean, the beds were tidy, and the common areas were well-maintained with no unpleasant smells. All the facilities were new, and the rooftop terrace was a major highlight—a great place to enjoy the breeze and atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and responsive to any issues. The location was convenient, and the value for money was excellent. It's perfect for solo travelers, and I felt very comfortable and confident staying there. I would definitely consider staying here again next time.
