Yöveden Ateljeekoti is the personal atelier home of the visual artist Katja Antonoff, offering atmospheric accommodation in a historic former village school, which was completed in 1893. The building served as a village school for nearly a hundred years until 1992. Today, its unique milieu combines history, art and cozy accommodation in the tranquility of nature. 13 km north of Mikkeli, there is the atmospheric and cozy Havukka cottage, which is perfect for couples who appreciate nature and peace or a small group of friends for an evening gathering. The cottage is located on a beautiful wild forest slope on the shore of pond Ekslampi (40 m). There is only one other cottage on the shore of the same pond, which is not visible. There is a private rowing boat available on the shore and you can catch pike and perch from the pond. Log cottage 1975, renovated 1999, bright and nicely retro-romantic decorated living room and kitchen, with a double bed (two single beds on a single mattress, separate mattresses also available on request in advance).
