2-Star hotele w: Shimane Prefecture, Japan

The hotel is located near Matsue station. The front desk agents were very polite and did their best to talk to me, despite my very broken Japanese. Guests are given a locker, protected by a keycard. The locker itself was good enough for me, who took only a conventional backpack and a pair of shoes, but might not be enough for those who are not traveling light like that. The bathrooms were shared and quite clean, fully furnished with amenities for showers and personal hygiene. WiFi was included and it was quite decent for general use, even when inside the shared bedroom. The bed capsule had a pillow and a blanket, lights and power outlets for phones. I had more space than I imagined, enough for me to sit on the bed. The only downside of this room type was air circulation, probably due to the hot climate that's been the standard here in Japan lately, but I think the fans could work more efficiently or the capsules could use an AC outlet. Other than that, I recommend this location and will certainly stay with them again.

Nicely situated in the centre of one of the two main streets in Yunotsu. I stayed in the bottom capsule which is much more spacious than the top capsule since you get space to put your belongings. Kitchen was equipped with basic condiments like soy sauce and cooking oil. There is a coin laundry facility in the adjoining building - 500 yen for wash and 100 yen per 10 mins of drying. The only concern I had was with the check in process, which luckily for me I was informed about before by reading the reviews. Check in is at Kazeto, another hotel around 5 mins walk away from Watowa. This can be troublesome for guests arriving by foot as you’ll need to backtrack to Kazeto if mistakenly arriving at Watowa first. Staff at check in were helpful and friendly (English speaking) and provided ample information about the facilities and attractions in Yunotsu and surrounds.

We didn't have a car, so it was convenient and very grateful in front of the bus stop. Because the sea was in front of me and the hotel owned the ship, the sashimi and the bubble princess for dinner were eaten in the tempo, and even Oki beef was eaten ❗️ The bath was also unusual in the shape of a wooden ship, and the master was happy with 々. The staff was kind and offered me a shellfish instead of a plate, which was a great satisfaction.

The room is lovely, a cozy traditional tatami style. It's managed by locals, so that's really nice. I kinda regret not getting a place closer to the center. It's 30 minutes walk from the train station (with some sights along the way). There is a local bus (Google maps seems to be on point with it) but it doesn't drive all that often. There is however a great Onsen 15 minutes walk from the hotel. I do reccomend that. :)

It feels like an old inn has been renewed for private guests. The building may be old, but the interior is beautiful. The single private room is super small with only a bed. Well, there is no problem with lying down and looking at your phone. It's a private room, but of course, you can hear the snoring in the next room, as well as the sound of opening the bag. It might be better to have an earphone. However, there is an inner hot water, the location is good, and the price is sufficiently satisfactory.

This is considered quite stingy for a budget hotel in Japan. Laundry costs extra, dryer costs extra, and laundry detergent costs 100 yen. They don't provide skincare sets, bottled water, or disposable slippers (I asked the front desk, and they said the hotel doesn't provide them). Even the public bath lacks skincare products, and there were unidentified stains on the curtains. The facilities, however, are very new and clean. Except for the curtains and slippers, everything else is very well cleaned. Check-in is self-service; you can complete the process without speaking to the front desk.

It was delicious with only breakfast. I didn't have dinner, so I went to a nearby izakaya. The owner of the izakaya used to make banquets here better. I heard that I can't cook for some reason now. The inn itself was awarded by a travel agency and had a shield. Clean and good. The hot springs are also good. I thought it would be better if there was dinner. Iwami no Kata 々, who was present at the izakaya, was very friendly and fun.

The room used the loft type. It was very beautiful and enough for us to use just to sleep. There is a unit bus, but I also got a ticket for a nearby hot spring. Because it was heavy snow, I was able to borrow brush, hot water and color 々 on my way home. The staff is kind and I would like to use it again.

There is a distance from the station, and the nearest Rosen convenience store is also an 8-minute walk away. The Japanese-style room has a Doraemon feeling, the space is comfortable, and the field is next to it, which feels good. It is close to the Jinheye Cable Car I am going to. It will take about10-15 minutes to check out at 8:45.

It takes about 40 minutes by car from the city, and half of it has to run on the mountain road along the sea, but there are about 5 minutes by car from Nikko Lighthouse, Nikko Shrine, Izumo Matsushima, etc., and I went sightseeing after staying. The inn was cleanly renovated, the bath, toilet and washroom were shared but no problem. The room had a TV, refrigerator, yukata, towels, toothbrush, Japanese tea and tea tea bags. １ There was a vending machine in the lobby on the floor, such as pots, microwave ovens, beverages, cup noodles, frozen foods, etc.
