„This hotel is great if you're using it just for the hot tubs. The staff all seemed a bit unprepared for the services they provided. Most of the hotel is outdoors, the hot tub looked horrible after the leaky roof leaked into it during the rain, they seemed to be unsure of how to do room service, the hotel is outdoors with not mosquito nets so it's almost impossible to be outside at night. The hotels location is literally down a dirt road behind some limber factory so taxis find it difficult to find. The hotel is also way out of the city, do getting to attractions takes a bit more time. Overall it's a nice hotel if you're getting it for a short time or if you need to stay close to the airport.”

Zatrzymałam się w pokoju 8-osobowym i doceniłam czystość łóżka, prześcieradła, szafki itp. To bardzo ważne, ponieważ to jedyna dostępna przestrzeń. Łazienka była w porządku, nie wiedziałam, że jest wspólna, ale nie miałam z nią żadnych problemów – i była też czysta. Podoba mi się możliwość skorzystania z restauracji i darmowej herbaty w recepcji. Lokalizacja jest również świetna! Kunming to urocze i artystyczne miasto 🫶”

Ciekawi mnie, jak się mieszka w tym hotelu o tak romantycznej nazwie? Po zameldowaniu otrzymałem odpowiedź. Wieczorem, przy odkrytym basenie na piątym piętrze hotelu, przy delikatnym wietrze wieczornym oglądałem zachód słońca w Xishuangbanna i pośpieszyłem na spotkanie z zachodem słońca nad rzeką Lancang. O położeniu hotelu: Lokalizacja jest doskonała, a do nocnego targu Xingguang można dojść pieszo (hotel dysponuje również wagonikiem turystycznym na baterie, który zapewnia intymny transport między hotelem a obszarem widokowym Gaozhuang). Zejdź schodami w dół windy hotelowej, a znajdziesz supermarket. Wzdłuż ulicy znajduje się wiele restauracji, w tym dwie restauracje serwujące dania z grzybami. Dla smakoszy znalezienie pysznego jedzenia jest naprawdę wygodnym zadaniem. Wystarczy zejść kawałek w dół, a znajdziesz pyszny ryż z pilawem. Makaron ryżowy ugotowany przez ciotkę jest przepyszny, a sos mięsny polewany makaronem ryżowym jest aromatyczny. Dostępne są także placki kukurydziane, małe placki, bułeczki na parze, owoce, mleko sojowe itp. Na śniadanie możesz zjeść miskę parującego makaronu ryżowego i wyjść na zabawę pełen energii. Udogodnienia w pokojach hotelowych są bardzo nowe. Znajduje się w nich również pralka (ułatwiająca pranie ubrań) i mała lodówka (w sam raz do przechowywania świeżych owoców zakupionych na targu owocowym). Na koniec chciałbym podziękować hotelowi za pomoc w nawiązaniu kontaktu i zorganizowaniu kilkudniowego wynajmu samochodu, Mistrzu Zhang Jian. Jego serdeczna i troskliwa obsługa sprawiła, że ​​nasza podróż do Xishuangbanna była naprawdę warta zachodu! Pomoże nam zaplanować trasę, biorąc pod uwagę atrakcje, które chcemy odwiedzić. „This is a very nice hotel, great location, good rooms and excellent, helpful staff. But the hotel gets bad marks in two areas. First, the food was generally very good but the Western breakfast buffet choices were nearly always cold. I tried three days in a row to get poached eggs that were not hard boiled. On the third day I got what I wanted but even then the eggs were stone cold. The second issue was the the lack of necessary security staff. The lobby bar was nice and had a young woman playing guitar in the evenings but on our second evening 4 drunks were drinking, shouting and smoking and refused to stop when the hotel staff intervened. After this things escalated and instead of having hotel security throw them out the drunks started harassing us and it got ugly so we left for our room. The hotel called our room to apologize but it was not equipped to deal with this situation and needs to have better control over their public areas. A lesson to be learned. I will be sending a separate letter to Accor management giving full details of this unfortunate event.”

„We are Malaysian & can speak mandarin. Don’t worry if you’re non-chinese speaker, they will try their best to communicate with you. Sonzhuju Coffee & Tea Holiday Villa is convenient for those who bring big luggage. They have a service to help carry your luggage too, from the main road (approx 170m). And please let them know once you arrived at the main road! The hotel is away from loud noise & busy from the main area. Cosy place & strategic for us staying in 3D2N. The room was clean. Breakfast included, but for Muslims, please mention that you’re Muslim, then they will prepare you veggie options. And you can choose to have your meal in your room or their eating area.

Ai Fei, a local host from the hotel, was very helpful in arranging our customised tour trip. We texted the hotel via WeChat 8–9 days prior to our arrival in Lijiang. We asked if there was any local there who could advise us on the trip and straightaway they made a group for discussion. He'd make sure that we were all okay & happy to discuss our plan to visit any area that we would like to go to. He arranged our private car trip to JDSM & Blue Moon Valley and brought the ticket for us too. Upon we'd arrived at the hotel, he served us a welcome tea, fruit and flower cake. From the next morning we are going to JDSM & Blue Moon Valley. He advised us on what the do’s and don't prior to our trip. The private driver that he helped arrange for us was also very helpful & patient to ensure that we felt safe going to the place (group chat). He also helped to arrange a private car for us to Shangri-la. Overall, he made our plan and trip smoothly.

As for the Muslims, you can ask him or the hotel host to recommend where the nearest Muslim restaurant they will definitely find for you.
Overall, definitely recommend staying here. We are happy with our stay here.”

„Our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was clean and bright, and the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options. The front desk even thoughtfully gave us a welcome gift, which was a really nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located for dining and shopping, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone. They also have a laundry room with a dryer, which is super convenient for families with children. The infinity pool's water was incredibly clean too.”

„We chose Mile over Jianshui for a few days' relaxation primarily because we discovered the newly opened Holiday Inn there. Our five-day stay at the Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. First off, this is a proper hotel, not one of those trendy simplified versions. What I mean is that its design and concept are genuinely geared towards providing guests with top-notch accommodation and service. The hotel boasts numerous public facilities: a bright and spacious lobby, an elegant little bar and lounge area, a kids' play corner, a starlit swimming pool, two hot spring pools with different temperatures, and a self-service laundry room. And then there's the restaurant – I absolutely have to mention it! The chef prepares a super rich breakfast every day, always with new surprises. I'm guessing the head chef is a master from Guangdong, though he told me he's from Yunnan. As for the rooms, they are large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed, sheets, and duvet are all high-quality. What truly reflects the hotel's quality are the in-room furnishings: the Holiday Inn has chosen truly comfortable chairs and sofas, the kind you can relax in while reading or listening to music. The most valuable asset of this hotel, however, is its entire staff. Every single person is friendly and polite, genuinely caring for each guest. A big thank you to Xiao Ji at the front desk, Nancy at the bar, KoKo at the restaurant, and the ever-present Gavin and Jennifer, along with their entire team. The hotel's location is opposite Honghe Water Village. We walked to Dahou Park every day for a stroll, visited nearby coffee shops, tried various restaurants, and after dinner, headed to Honghe Water Village to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again next time. Highly recommend this excellent place.”

„Both of us are extremely satisfied staying Im this hotel. The resapan for giving the hotel 10/10 are: - Efficient customer service, the senior lady as well as the younger staff at the counter are very alert and responsive. I would say the young senior staff with short hair is a gem to the hotel management team. She's kind, caring and hospitable. - The Hotel is strategically located near to the Kunming Railway Station as well as to FuDe Subway station. Moving around in Kunming city is so convenient. - Just next to the hotel is the Shuangqiao Night Market. It's the largest night market in Kunming. We enjoyed the variety of food served in the market. - Although the night market operates till 3am, the rooms remain quiet and peaceful to sleep in because the Hotel has double layered glass windows to block out the noise from outside . - The breakfast I served is also delicious : local noodles and wantons served in three types of soup - plain chicken broth, sour and spicy or Mala taste.
