„Arrived odd hours at 3am and couldn't figure out how to get to the hotel. As usual the contact for shuttle is only by phone call which is inconvenient for non-China citizens. Luckily able to latch on to others who were headed the same way. The reception could be friendlier but understand it is ungodly hours. Couldn't understand how to receive the hotel voucher and wasn't helped to do so. The hotel room itself was fabulous. Clean and comfortable bed and more than enough supply of drinking water. The bath tub was a plus too! Easy check out.”

„1) Check in was smooth and fast. The hotel arranged our 4 rooms on the same floor, this was very helpful as travelling with my elderly mom. 2) Rooms are spacious and very clean. Room amenities well equipped. Only thing the in-room mini bar served only tea bags. For coffee drinkers, need to bring your own ready mix coffee and stirrers. Or just walk out the street or ******* if need coffee. 3) Hotel has many meeting rooms for wedding or event. on 25 Oct we saw at least 6 wedding cars at the foyer area. 4) Location is pretty centralized and can view the space center from some room, the hotel AI will send great information via Trip.com once your booking is confirmed. Very good innovative.”

„Our stay at JW Marriott turned out to be a truly unforgettable and deeply touching experience. During our stay, it happened to be our baby’s second birthday. Sharry prepared a birthday surprise for us that went far beyond anything we expected. It was not just a simple room decoration, but a genuine celebration of a child’s growth, done with real care and heart. The room was beautifully decorated, but what moved me the most was this: almost all hotel staff personally wrote handwritten birthday wishes for our baby, folded each note into a heart, and placed them together in a glass bottle. Seeing that bottle filled with so many handwritten messages from different people was incredibly touching. It wasn’t just five-star service — it was warmth, sincerity, and human connection. What made this experience even more special was that Sharry learned we had stayed at JW Marriott Khao Lak, Thailand, in October last year, and that our wonderful experience there was the reason we chose the JW Marriott brand again. After hearing this, she went the extra mile and coordinated with the team in Thailand to record a birthday greeting video for our daughter. Receiving birthday wishes months later from familiar faces we had met before, from another country, was incredibly emotional and meaningful for us. It truly showed a level of care and connection that is very rare. The hotel also prepared a birthday cake for our baby, and the next day surprised us again with a lovely animal-themed cake. The care didn’t stop at one moment; it continued throughout our stay. In addition, our room was upgraded, and during the entire stay, Sharry checked in with us daily about our experience, always attentive but never intrusive. This kind of thoughtful, genuine service made us feel truly valued and well taken care of. Objective feedback: • The sound insulation of the room door is not very strong, and corridor noise can be noticeable • Breakfast is average, without many highlights • It would be great if the breakfast area could include clear allergen labeling, which would be very helpful for guests with food allergies • The hotel feels more business-oriented and mature in style, and the overall resort atmosphere is not particularly strong Overall, this is a hotel with solid facilities and exceptionally warm, thoughtful service. The sincere, unrequested, and carefully executed details made this stay truly special and memorable.”

„Uważam, że było to świetne miejsce jakieś 10-15 lat temu, ale na razie pilnie potrzebuje remontu i poważnego sprzątania. Pokój był w porządku, bardzo duży, z niesamowitą wanną na balkonie! Ale łazienka naprawdę nie była taka dobra: drzwi prysznica i toalety nie można było prawidłowo zamknąć, więc woda była wszędzie, a zasłona była niewyobrażalnie brudna! Opcje śniadaniowe są bardzo słabe. W pobliżu znajduje się droga o dużym natężeniu ruchu, więc jeśli masz lekki sen, pamiętaj o tym! Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, jeśli podróżujesz z ograniczonym budżetem, jest w porządku. Do morza około 10 minut na piechotę, a widok z balkonu jest niesamowity!”

„Hilton Wenchang offers an opportunity to discover another curious side of Hainan. We could see Wenchang Space Launch site directly from our balcony. The beach was nearby, and we watched sunrises and sunsets there. The swimming pool was spotless clean, although only one pool out of there was open due to a low number of guests. A couple scenic spots are very close too, about 10 min drive. There has been a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Jason He helped us with multiple needs, such as ordering medicine, finding restaurants, and booking a shuttle bus to Wenchang railway station. The latter is free, just need to book it in advance for a certain time period.”

„All good. Shuttle to airport really helps. Getting from the airport to the hotel requires extra effort. Prepare Chinese name and address of the hotel in advance. The hotel is not on the maps as it is quite new.”
