Location is close to the forest nature park incl. waterfalls 20 min. (need additional ticket) and is directly at the hot springs bathing area 100m. The entrance ticket was included for the hotel guests. The ticket for waterfalls and vulcano lake could be purchased at the hotel. In general very nice in winter time.

Beautiful hotel. Grand entrance with chandelier. Easy check in. Warm welcome from staff. Hotel staff Assisted with every request and made the holiday pleasant. Room had beautiful river and city views. Was actually better than the pictures online. Breakfast location: High ceilings and full windows overlooking the city and river. Spacious. Great selection of different cuisines. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. Our stay at Park Kairos was amazing! The staff are very friendly especially the VIP manager’s service. Location of the hotel is also excellent and most importantly, it is well decorated and clean. Enjoyed our stay in the Korean style room. The staff even prepared a fruit platter for a birthday celebration. Highly recommend!

This was my first time stay at Shangri-La Changchun and I was not disappointed. I felt welcomed when checked in. Ella at the front desk is professional and friendly. She introduced about the room facility to us, made the check-in process smooth and gave us free upgrade (Thanks, Ella!). The room we stayed was clean with beautiful view. The facility was nice. The breakfast was delicious and there were so many varieties of great food to choose. The cleaning lady was friendly and had her job well done. The staff also helped us call taxi. The fitness club and pool are great. We had dinner on the 2nd floor. The food was wonderful and the waiter was very friendly. The location of the hotel is central and perfect as a base in the city. We had an early check-out and need to rush to the airport. The gentleman at the front desk made the checkout extremely brief and wasted no time in getting us a taxi. All in all, we had a very pleasant and lovely stay at Shangri-la. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again when visiting Changchun.

The overall environment and service were truly impressive. Angela was genuinely warm and enthusiastic with guests, and her service was efficient and thoughtful – you could really feel her dedication in every detail. Mary upgraded me to a sunnier room in advance, so waking up to bright sunshine after opening the curtains was a fantastic experience! I was also very pleased with He Miao's room cleaning. The hotel is directly opposite MixC shopping mall, and the subway station is right downstairs. The hotel food was good, the room decor was cozy, and all facilities worked perfectly, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It was a very enjoyable experience, five stars!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful 2 nights stay in mid December. The great service started even prior to our stay as we had 2 personal concierge 小张 & 莹莹 assigned to us. We had requested for connecting rooms via Trip and 小张 & 莹莹 contacted us directly via WeChat. They not only helped us get connecting rooms, they also gave advice and helped to arrange for our luggages to be sent to the hotel while a private driver (additional cost) picked us from the train station to start our tour of Changbaishan immediately so that we do not have to waste time traveling. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful as well. Our room package included 3hr ski tickets and access to the natural hot spring. It was our family’s first time trying to ski and we asked our personal concierge to arrange for private coach (additional cost). Immediately upon arriving at the ski lodge the coach was waiting and led us through the entire chaotic process of collecting and wearing the gears. The hotel has direct unlimited access to the hot spring and it was also a great experience not to be missed (Don’t forget to pack your swim wear!) It even has a fish pool where we dip our whole body. There’s also a Cute Pet Paradise with different animals you can feed. Overall there’s plenty of activities for everyone and we will definitely highly recommend the hotel to everyone coming to Changbaishan.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with genuine warmth and professionalism, making the entire experience feel effortless and relaxing. The check-in process was smooth, and every team member I interacted with was attentive, friendly, and eager to help. The room was immaculate—beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere allowed for perfect rest. Housekeeping maintained a very high standard throughout. The hotel’s facilities were also outstanding. The dining options offered delicious and fresh meals, and the breakfast selection was especially impressive. The gym and pool areas were well maintained, creating a great environment to unwind. One of the highlights of my stay was the attention to detail. Whether it was the swift response to requests, the warm greetings from staff, or the overall cleanliness and organization, everything reflected true hospitality.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is near the Wanda mall. It’s also 10mins short drive to 网红墙. It’s a “smart” hotel with robots delivering your ordered food from Mei Tuan. Room is also controlled by AI assistant “Xiao Du”. Hotel manager very helpful. He provides local information as well as facilitates guests queries effectively. Hotel provides free self service laundry on the 11th floor. You do need to understand Chinese to use it. We were there in December and room central heating is too warm to our liking and cannot be controlled effectively within the room even with “Xiao Du”help. Housekeeping between the 2 days can be improve as well. However I will still recommend this hotel if you are in YanJi.

The hotel is very clean but when I was there with my family, there are a lot of constructions ongoing near the hotel and it was raining every single day when we are at Changchun. The hotel staff is very nice and efficient esp when we had only 30 mins to board our train to head to Changbaishan. The hotel staff, Fu Yang, is able to cater for us and understand that we are rushing for time. We managed to board our train successfully thanks to Ms Fu Yang. The breakfast options were rather limited. There was a signage saying that we could have how we wanted our eggs. We requested for the chef to cook it; the chef booked for us unwillingly and gave us an attitude. From the previous guest reviews, there are many positive reviews with regards to the buffet hence we decided to pay for the breakfast buffet. Overall, we will still stay in the same hotel if we visit Changchun once again. :) Side note, the train station was rather far away from the hotel. However, DiDi works fine too.
