Waking up to the city skyline right outside my window, with the morning sun painting the clouds, was simply breathtaking. The breakfast, a fantastic spread of both Western and Chinese dishes, truly set me up for the day – from freshly cooked noodles to aromatic freshly ground coffee. Plus, having complimentary access to the gym and laundry room was a thoughtful touch that really rounded out the five-star experience!

This hotel in Golmud was the best value for money we experienced during our week-long road trip in western China! 👍 The facilities and services are quite comprehensive and very clean. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a spacious deluxe room, which was very comfortable. 👍 Since the hotel's central air conditioning wasn't on yet, a thoughtful staff member brought a portable air cooler to our room. We didn't really need it at night; opening the window was more comfortable for sleeping. The only slight disappointment was the water temperature for a bath. Although the room had a bathtub and even disposable bath liners, the water was a bit too cool. The shower temperature, however, was just right. This hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options – enough to fill you up and enjoy a good meal. Choosing this hotel in Golmud was definitely the right decision! 👍

My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

Convenient access to transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel's breakfast selection is quite good, and they have a restaurant on the first floor serving local cuisine, as well as Western and Chinese dishes. Prices are reasonable, but be aware that portions can be quite large. The room cleanliness is excellent, and the customer service is responsive. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Overall, this hotel is excellent. To find such a good hotel in the Yardang area is a feat in itself. The butler team's service was especially attentive. They proactively added us on WeChat to send menus and directions, which was a nice personal touch. Upon arrival, the butler escorted us to our room and showed us all the facilities. The entire service was warm and thoughtful. We also had dinner there, and the food was very good. The only surprise was that the breakfast restaurant didn't have a coffee machine. I'm used to having coffee first thing in the morning. While I could go outside the park from the breakfast area to buy coffee, it wasn't very convenient. I really think adding two coffee machines to the breakfast restaurant wouldn't hurt the park's coffee sales. I hope they consider this improvement.

Booking the Guanhu International Hotel was the best decision we made on our Qinghai Lake trip! I have to give this hotel a perfect score! First off, the hotel's facilities truly exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. Getting such a high-quality sleep experience in a high-altitude area is a rare treat. I especially want to highlight the hotel's robot service – it delivered items quickly and added a fun, high-tech touch to our stay. Cleanliness was also impeccable. From the lobby and hallways to the guest rooms, everything was spotless, even the corners were meticulously cleaned, which made us feel very at ease. But the service was definitely the biggest highlight of this stay! I particularly want to give a shout-out to our 'Little ******* Fox Butler'! From the moment we checked in, they provided attentive follow-up throughout our stay. Not only did they inform us of high-altitude precautions in advance, but they also helped us plan our local sightseeing routes. Their service was warm and meticulous, truly making us feel at home, and making our trip much more stress-free. Finally, the hotel's restaurant deserves high praise too! The breakfast selection was very rich, the ingredients were fresh, and the regular meals offered authentic, great-tasting dishes. Every meal was incredibly satisfying. Overall, both the hardware and software were flawless, and the value for money was exceptional. Next time I visit Qinghai Lake, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

The front desk service was very enthusiastic. When I checked in, I was given cookies, which were delicious and hot. The front desk lady patiently introduced the hotel and the swimming pool and gym. I also went to experience them. The service of the swimming pool staff was also very good and warm. The room was clean and tidy. I will continue to choose this hotel next time.

The hotel lobby's decor was luxurious and grand, and the front desk staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, their smiles were truly heartwarming. I had originally booked a standard room, but the front desk agent thoroughly explained the benefits of a view room. After upgrading, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely stunning view. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the mattress was perfectly firm yet comfortable. It was quiet at night, not noisy at all, making for an overall perfect experience.

Check-in: The system was sluggish, and the front desk claimed the internet was down again. Room: We booked for two adults and one child, but the pillows weren't adequately provided. The mini-fridge price list for drinks was on the minibar, but the mini-fridge was empty, so what's the point of the price list? Bathroom: The liquid toiletries were of poor quality, yet they still branded them with the Sanyu logo. The hairdryer was a terrible choice. Breakfast: A complete disaster! No one to seat guests, it was chaotic, and despite many staff members, they were all just milling around with extremely low efficiency. Breakfast hours were 7:00-10:00, and we went at 8:30. The food quality was poor, and the kitchen's on-site management was terrible. I asked for an omelet, and they flat-out said no, only fried eggs, with a firm and take-it-or-leave-it attitude! I was shocked. How did Trip.com select this hotel? How do they supervise and evaluate it? The milk quality was poor, there was no freshly squeezed juice, the coffee was bad, the desserts and bread had no variety and poor quality, and the yogurt wasn't refrigerated nor was it on ice… Complaint Handling: I tried to find the F&B director at the restaurant, but it was the weekend, and he was off. No one in charge was willing to come out. I called Trip.com, who handled it professionally, and then I received a call back from a lobby manager who was clueless. I requested to speak with the hotel's duty manager, and the person who called back was a man responsible for the kitchen, which was fitting. He immediately asked how I wanted to resolve it, implying he wasn't really concerned. I listed out all the issues one by one, and he replied, 'Minor oversight.' Nothing was resolved. Additional points: 1) Unused 'clean' linens and bathrobes were stored in the laundry cart. 2) When checking out at 11:35, there was no one at the front desk, only two concierges, who said everyone had gone for lunch. Excellent management! 👍

Nice comfortable apartment with quality furniture and fittings, clean and well maintained..The door men/concierge staff were very helpful and friendly when we arrived & leaving. The food/beverage supervisor was very supportive and helpful, We decided to try the executive lounge afternoon tea and happy hours, The lounge environment is very elegant & customer service Miss Hu was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the hospitality, food and drinks. There are 2 malls close to this apartment hotel which is attached to Sofitel.
