I recently stayed at the Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel and Spa in Matera, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooms are carved out of historic caves, offering a unique and enchanting atmosphere that blends modern luxury with ancient charm. The location is perfect, nestled within the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site, providing easy access to the city’s main attractions.
The hotel’s amenities are top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the spa facilities, which include a sauna, hammam, and a heated indoor pool. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met with a smile. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impeccable, adding to the overall comfort of my stay.
One minor downside was the cost of some extras, which felt a bit high. Additionally, while the cave-themed rooms are stunning, they might not be for everyone due to the unique layout and lighting. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unique stay in Matera.

這次入住體驗實在太棒了，必須全五星好評！
首先，酒店的硬件設施就讓人驚喜。房間非常寬敞，是我們歐洲之行見過最大的標間，完全不像有些歐洲酒店那樣侷促。而且所有設施都很新，打掃得一塵不染，住着非常舒適安心。
我們訂了三間房，其中一間需要雙床。前台小姐姐發現後，立刻主動協調幫我們換好，效率超高，服務貼心。
早餐種類豐富，尤其要贊一下咖啡，非常好喝！酒店的全體員工服務都值得稱讚，特別是前台經理 Valerio。他不僅妥善處理了我們在店的所有需求，還熱情地為我們推薦了旅遊路線和當地藝術展，更幫忙安排了從馬泰拉到那不勒斯的包車，服務周到得超乎想象！
這次入住因為酒店的硬件和Valerio這樣專業的員工而變得格外難忘。如果再來，這裏絕對是唯一選擇！

One of the best places to stay in Matera. Great service with parking. Restaurant Regina Corte is a must do. Dinner was excellent and the view is amazing. Location: the best! Rooms are a good size and beautiful decorated in modern style.

Beautiful terrace with great view and comfortable room. The location is unbearable! Breakfast is also very good. Service is excellent. We are very satisfied and had a wonderful experience at Quarry resort. Many thanks to Mr. Egidio!

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We specifically came to Mateta for one night from the Salerno area to enjoy the spa and dinner. As always it did not disappoint! The junior suite room was spectacular. The spa was amazing. The a massages were amazing. The restaurant they recommended for dinner was delicious. The staff is great. Left looking forward to our next trip back! See you soon Gattini!

A Timeless Gem in Maratea
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home. The property is stunning—spacious, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. We especially loved the private rocky beach with crystal-clear turquoise water—a rare find.
The hotel carries a vintage 50s–60s vibe but is well-updated for comfort. Though we didn’t get to use it this time, the tennis court was a nice bonus. Overall, a peaceful, elegant retreat that we can’t wait to return to.
There was a small miscommunication about sunscreen availability at the beach club—we were charged ( 59 euro for the sunscreen) at checkout without prior notice- as we thought they provide sunscreen when we asked for it at the beach. ( lost in translation 😛) It didn’t affect our experience, but clearer communication would have been appreciated.
Staff were lovely, warm, and helpful throughout. A true hidden gem—highly recommended for a relaxed, upscale getaway.

Ssummer09The room was absolutely fantastic – very spacious and spotlessly clean. The AC was powerful and kept us comfortable. Hotel service was top-notch, breakfast was delicious, and the dinner chef was superb. The spa facilities were also excellent; just remember to bring your swimwear! WWendyshuijingWe chose the Quarry Dujia Village, which was a very correct choice. If you have a car, you can reserve a parking space one day in advance, and then someone will pick us up. When we arrived at the hotel, we saw that it was very beautiful. The room was clean and bright, and the view outside the window was surprising and beautiful. All the service staff of the hotel were very perfect. The waiter who helped me with my luggage was enthusiastic. We had dinner in the hotel at night and had delicious food. Special thanks to the staff who served us, because of their service, we were very happy and satisfied. We had breakfast in the hotel the next morning. The service of the service staff made us feel very comfortable again. It is a great hotel, absolutely a five-star standard. We will definitely stay here again next time.

Struttura molto particolare, pulita e bella, ma il servizio da 5* non esiste:
-Abbiamo dovuto chiamare per organizzare il parcheggio dell’auto e nessuno rispondeva, siamo stati richiamati.
-arrivati all’hotel abbiamo richiesto la possibilità di fare un massaggio di coppia nella spa ( dal sito si percepiva fosse all’interno dell’hotel invece è convenzionata presso altro hotel) siamo riusciti a prenotare solamente alla sera per il giorno successivo nonostante la nostra pressione.
-alle ore 19 si chiede la possibilità per bere un drink presso l’hotel e la risposta è negativa giustificata dall’inizio orario cena
- colazione non da hotel a 5*, poco personale per richieste bevande calde

First of all, the hotel's hardware facilities are surprising. The room was very spacious and the largest standard room we had ever seen during our trip to Europe, not as cramped as some European hotels. And all the facilities are very new, cleaned spotlessly, and lived very comfortable and at ease.
We booked three rooms, one of which needed a double bed. After the front desk lady found out, she immediately took the initiative to coordinate to help us change it, the efficiency was super high, and the service was intimate.
The breakfast is rich in variety, especially the coffee, very delicious! The hotel's staff service is commendable, especially the front desk manager Valerio. He not only properly handled all our needs in the store, but also enthusiastically recommended tourist routes and local art exhibitions for us, and helped arrange chartered cars from Matera to Naples. The service was beyond imagination!
This stay was particularly memorable because of the hotel hardware and professional staff like Valerio. If you come again, this is definitely the only choice!
