The **Grand Hyatt Chengdu** is a solid luxury option right in the heart of the city on Chunxi Road, with great location perks for shopping and exploring. **Service** stands out positively—staff are attentive, courteous, and helpful throughout the stay. The **breakfast** is average: it has variety, but nothing particularly memorable or standout compared to other high-end hotels in Chengdu. The on-site hotpot restaurant (#8) is a real highlight—authentic Sichuan-style, with excellent quality ingredients, flavorful broths (like the mala options), and a fun, casual vibe. Definitely worth trying if you're into hotpot; it's one of the better ones in the area. On the downside, the place feels a bit run-down in spots, likely from cost-saving measures—some areas show wear, maintenance could be better, and it doesn't always match the ”Grand” Hyatt polish you'd expect. Also, beware of checkout around 12:30 PM—lots of guests seem to leave at the same time, creating a rush at the front desk and elevators. Requesting a late checkout is a good idea if your schedule allows, but plan accordingly to avoid the peak crowds. Overall, a decent stay for the location, service, and that standout hotpot, but tempered expectations on upkeep and breakfast. I'd give it **3.5–4 out of 5** based on this experience.

Ritz-Carlton w Chengdu jest dość stary, ale jak to zwykle bywa w przypadku pięciogwiazdkowych hoteli w Chengdu, ceny nie są wygórowane. Zarezerwowaliśmy dwa pokoje dwuosobowe i obsługa była doskonała; personel chętnie pomógł nam z bagażem. Chciałbym jednak złożyć skargę. Zameldowaliśmy się o 10:00, a obsługa zapewniła nas, że bagaż zostanie dostarczony bezpośrednio do pokoju. Klucz do pokoju otrzymaliśmy o 14:00 i wróciliśmy, ale nadal nie zobaczyliśmy bagażu. Musieliśmy zadzwonić, żeby się upewnić, zanim w końcu go dostarczono. To było jak nieudolne przekazanie. Rozumiem, że hotele są zatłoczone w święta, ale w pięciogwiazdkowym hotelu nie powinno to stanowić problemu. Śniadanie również było przeciętne, niczym szczególnym się nie wyróżniało.

Great hospitality and homey welcome by the staff. We arrived very early in the morning due to our flight. Since we are on Horizon floor and was unable to check-in to our room then, the staff let us wait in the club lounge while waiting for our rooms to be ready. We have a decent breakfast and managed to check-in around 11:00am in the morning. The location of the hotel is great and surrounded with nice cafes. However, although the property is generally well maintained, the hotel may need some refurbishment.

Może dlatego, że zarezerwowaliśmy dwa pokoje na 4 noce, dostaliśmy pokój o wyższym standardzie przy zameldowaniu. Co za miła niespodzianka! Nasze pokoje na 25. piętrze były przestronne. W jednym z nich czuć było dym tytoniowy. Kiedy zgłosiliśmy problem w recepcji, szybko go rozwiązano, zmieniając pokój na inny, który również był świeży. Nasza rezerwacja obejmowała śniadanie. Bardzo podoba nam się śniadanie w formie bufetu. Sala śniadaniowa była nowoczesna, jasna, komfortowo urządzona z dużymi oknami. Personel jest uprzejmy i gościnny. Wybór jedzenia był dobry, nawet z tradycyjnymi lokalnymi chińskimi przysmakami! Herbaty, soki i napoje sojowe są pyszne. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, personel tego hotelu był przyjazny, cierpliwy i pomocny. Jack z concierge zasługuje na szczególne wyróżnienie. Cierpliwie pomógł nam zarezerwować bilety na pokaz kulturalny Syczuanu i do muzeum. Kiedy rezerwacja internetowa nie przebiegała sprawnie, zadzwonił nawet bezpośrednio do kasy biletowej, aby dowiedzieć się, jak może nam pomóc. Jeśli chodzi o lokalizację hotelu, znajduje się on zaledwie 5 minut spacerem od placu Tianfu, a muzeum w Chengdu znajduje się tuż po drugiej stronie pięknego placu. Jeśli jednak chcesz udać się na ulicę Taikoo w poszukiwaniu dobrych restauracji, spacer zajmie ponad 20 minut! Lepiej wziąć taksówkę, jeśli jesteś głodny, tak jak my pierwszej nocy. Musieliśmy przejść przez trzy pasy na pasach, a potem odbyć długi spacer, w końcu zrezygnowaliśmy i usiedliśmy w lokalnej syczuańskiej restauracji TaoDe Pots, zanim dotarliśmy do Taikoo Place. Ale TaoDe Pot również było miłym zaskoczeniem, o ile wytrzymasz 20 minut czekania na zewnątrz, chociaż oferowali stoliki i napoje z cytryną. Byliśmy zaskoczeni pysznym jedzeniem, dobrą porcją, miłą obsługą i przystępną ceną!

I recently stayed at a transit hotel in Chengdu and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is extremely convenient, especially for travelers, as it’s very close to the airport—perfect for short layovers or early flights. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The meals were surprisingly good for a transit hotel, with a nice variety and satisfying quality. The room itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long journey. I also appreciated the facilities and amenities. The hotel offers a comfortable environment with thoughtful touches, and the bathtub was a great bonus—perfect for unwinding and refreshing before the next leg of travel. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel was not noisy at all. I was able to rest comfortably without any disturbance, which is something I really value. There is also a VIP check-in service available at the airport, which sounds like a great perk, although I wasn’t entirely sure how to use it. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide clearer instructions for guests on how to take advantage of this feature. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone transiting through Chengdu. It offers convenience, comfort, and quality, making travel much more enjoyable.

W pokoju znajduje się również wanna, biurko, fotel, sejf i mała lodówka. Dostępne są także środki przeciwpożarowe. Usługi: Lobby hotelowe znajduje się na 33 piętrze. Na 1. piętrze dostępna jest również usługa konsjerża. Winda jest bardzo szybka. Mam wrażenie, że dotarcie na 33 piętro zajmuje mi zaledwie dziesięć sekund. Przedni hol jest również bardzo okazały. Widoki na zewnątrz są również bardzo ładne. Można zobaczyć Jinjiang, Lan Kwai Fong, Taikoo Li i Chunxi Road. Obsługa w recepcji jest bardzo entuzjastyczna i kompetentna, nie ociągając się. Przedstawiono wszystkie aspekty. Gospodyni pomogła nacisnąć przycisk windy i odesłała mnie do windy. Gdy tamtędy przechodziłem, zauważyłem atmosferę porządku panującą na miejscu. Było naprawdę dobrze. Jestem bardzo zadowolony z pobytu. Jeśli będę miał okazję ponownie odwiedzić Chengdu, na pewno zatrzymam się tam ponownie.

This time I came to Ya'an, it was really a super wise decision to choose to stay at the Yuji Hotel. The whole experience was full and the five-star praise was proper! The location of the hotel is particularly excellent, travel and play, punch in the surrounding attractions are super convenient, the surrounding dining, supermarkets are fully equipped. The interior of the room exceeded expectations, the space is spacious and transparent, the smart facilities in the whole house are too extra points, the voice can control the lights, curtains, electrical appliances, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the sleeping feeling is super comfortable, the washing area is separated from wet and dry, the bathroom supplies are clean and hygienic, the quality of toiletries is online, and the use is excellent. What impressed me the most was the hotel's service. The front desk staff was super warm and friendly. Check-in and check-out were efficient and fast. They would also recommend Ya'an local food and play routes. Any needs could be responded to in time. The whole experience was super warm. The overall price/performance ratio is directly full. Whether it is travel or business stay, this hotel is a great choice for Ya'an. I will definitely choose here next time I come to Ya'an. I really recommend it to every friend who comes to Ya'an!

This was one of my favourite stays. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the park entrance, which makes early starts really easy. From the moment I arrived, the experience was great. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff were warm, professional, and welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere straight away. They were always attentive and happy to help, and the translator device made communication very easy. The room was modern and comfortable, with a very good bed. I appreciated the thoughtful extras like coffee, snack box, face masks, and plenty of bottled water. I also had a balcony with a beautiful mountain view, which made the stay even more special. Felt like a European hotel in the mountains. The undercover spa was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. There’s also easy access to the nearby village for an evening walk. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and very well-run stay that I’d happily recommend. *they even messaged me very quickly to tell me I had left something behind at checkout. Great customer service.

I was sceptical at first after reading reviews and having many options around Chengdu city. We booked this hotel as our final leg before departure from Chengdu city after completing a tour. From the moment we stepped out of the car to the time we were leaving, nothing short of a royalty treatment. Fresh fruits were delivered to our room, the room itself so spacious with beds that speak of their brand. Breakfast is a wide variety (and trust us when we say wide because we stayed in 6 different hotels throughout our trip). We will definitely come back again. Tips : Just take a DiDi to Chunxi Road or IFS, it may sound nearby but most hotels are at least a good 15mins walk. If you are alone its ok, with young kids it might be tiring to explore if we start off too early
