The location is extremely convenient, especially for travelers, as it’s very close to the airport—perfect for short layovers or early flights. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The meals were surprisingly good for a transit hotel, with a nice variety and satisfying quality. The room itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long journey. I also appreciated the facilities and amenities. The hotel offers a comfortable environment with thoughtful touches, and the bathtub was a great bonus—perfect for unwinding and refreshing before the next leg of travel. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel was not noisy at all. I was able to rest comfortably without any disturbance, which is something I really value. There is also a VIP check-in service available at the airport, which sounds like a great perk, although I wasn’t entirely sure how to use it. „This is our second stay at this specific accommodation. Unlike our previous stay, this time, front desk service is quite lacking On the positive, bedding is comfortable and towels are fluffy and cleaned. hotel restaurant served excellent meals for dinner and at reasonable price . The chef on duty is a good cook, big serve and tasty dishes. Highly recommend having dinner at hotel restaurant. On the negative, we were given a room where hot water is just not hot but cold. Ringing the front desk to report the issue and was told by front desk to let the water runs longer, despite we repeated that we had waited for water to run at least 20min. We requested to change room and front desk didn’t agree to, but just repeatedly telling us to let water run longer. Obviously this is not service from a so called 5 star hotel where customer service is so lacking and room with no hot water After repeated request by phoning front desk second time, we were changed to a different room; and this time, room has good hot water. Seriously, front desk needs training in customer service. The least hotel can do is to change customer to a different room so that basic hot water facility is provided. We should not have to endure such lack in service.”

„This is a new hotel, and the service exceeded my expectations – I received so many smiling greetings! Star, from the front desk, proactively contacted me before check-in and was incredibly responsive to all my requests. 👍 Aside from a slight smell from the wooden sand particles in the kids' play area, the entire hotel is scent-free. The staff in the kids' club even actively played with the children, which was wonderful. The hotel offers convenient pick-up and drop-off from the train station; Harry Luo, who picked us up, was handsome and provided excellent service. The Chinese restaurant has a limited menu, but the food is delicious. However, the breakfast quality needs improvement. Despite being a new hotel, its minor flaws don't detract from its overall quality. I'll definitely be back for a second visit in the winter!”

„This was one of my favourite stays. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the park entrance, which makes early starts really easy. From the moment I arrived, the experience was great. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff were warm, professional, and welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere straight away. They were always attentive and happy to help, and the translator device made communication very easy. The room was modern and comfortable, with a very good bed. This hotel is excellent – clean, spacious rooms, and they provide four bottles of water daily. The location is superb, right next to Tianfu Square and the Chengdu Museum, which was perfect for rainy days. It's also close to People's Park and Chunxi Road. Despite the many tourists, the staff were incredibly dedicated and patient. The braised duck at breakfast was delicious, and the noodles with bamboo shoots and beef brisket topping were a treat. My wonderful experience in Chengdu started right here. See you again!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic design. I love the color scheme and all the decorative details – it feels very stylish and modern. Lucky, the welcoming dog, is also adorable! The room is spacious with a great view, and the small appliances are high-end. There are also many thoughtful functional details. The breakfast restaurant is large with a rich variety of options, and the service is excellent. Downstairs, there's a mall and a subway station, which was perfect for traveling with kids; they absolutely loved it. For a hotel of this caliber, the price offers great value for money.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise during our trip; the kids and our dog were very happy with it, as it had a large bathtub and a small garden. Since we were leaving very early the next day, our butler, Jiqing, thoughtfully packed breakfast and provided a lot of information on sightseeing and dining options. Leshan is a treasure trove of a city; besides the Giant Buddha, there are many other fun places to visit. I would definitely choose to cycle solo for a thousand miles again next time.

The environment here is fantastic, with pristine forest right behind the property. On clear days, you can even see snow-capped mountains across the way and behind us, though it's quite atmospheric even on cloudy days. It's truly untouched; we saw wild rabbits hopping around and herders' horses grazing nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the yak hotpot we had for dinner was pretty good too. I also highly recommend exploring the village down the mountain.

The hotel's scenery is exceptionally beautiful, with a Chinese-inspired design and blessings extended to every guest. The courtyard is adorned with crape myrtle, pomegranates, and magnolia flowers, creating a sense of abundant beauty and prosperity. Flower-lined paths lead to picturesque spots, making every step a delight, and allowing one to forget all worries and simply immerse in the moment. The public hot springs are spacious, available both indoors and outdoors. The rooms are private villas, some with their own hot spring baths, and the温泉 water is natural radon spring water. The front desk managers, Helen and Li Yilin, were very attentive. I would definitely choose Fairmont Chengdu Hot Springs again if I have the chance; it must be even more beautiful in the autumn. This was a wonderful trip.

My overall stay was a mixed bag. While some staff members provided commendable service, there were serious privacy violations and significant safety and hygiene issues. I'd like to specifically commend Kari, Vincent, Emily, and Sophie. They were patient, responsive, and provided professional and attentive service, which greatly enhanced our trip. A special shout-out to Vincent; despite being a manager, he drove us around in the sightseeing buggy and even took us to a different location for a taxi, ensuring we got there comfortably. My service rating is solely for these staff members. However, some unacceptable problems arose: The breakfast hygiene was concerning; we found hair in the food. For a high-end hotel, such hygiene issues are inexcusable and raise serious food safety concerns. The privacy and security in the guest room were severely compromised. While someone was still in the room, a staff member knocked only once before immediately pushing the door open and looking directly towards the closet area. This was a grave infringement on guest privacy and a serious breach of security. When paying for a hotel room, guests are entitled to basic privacy. This incident was so severe it warranted calling the police. I felt a complete lack of security throughout my entire stay. The hotel's hardware and views are good, but the room management processes, breakfast hygiene, and staff entry protocols urgently need a complete overhaul. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prioritize privacy and hygiene. I hope the hotel takes this incident seriously, strengthens all-staff training, and prevents other guests from experiencing similar situations.

Excellent five-star hotel in a convenient location. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful city view. All staff members were consistently kind, polite, and helpful. Special thanks to the receptionist (whose name I unfortunately can't recall): she helped us purchase theater tickets and found us great seats at a good price. The pool was lovely, large, and well-equipped with showers and a sauna. The robots that deliver food were also very cute, though we didn't have the chance to use them. My only suggestion concerns breakfast – a wider selection for those following a vegetarian or vegan diet would be great. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a hotel we highly recommend.

The hotel is not far from Huashuiwan Hot Spring Town, built by the roadside, making parking convenient with a dedicated underground parking garage. There are two accommodation buildings. The price is a bit high, but the environment is quite good, though there's not much to explore in the surrounding area. The room was spacious, although the walls were a bit dirty. The hot springs are great, with about 10 pools built along the river, plus a sauna room. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Overall, the facilities are complete. Breakfast was very rich with a wide variety of options. The jam tasted homemade, which was a pleasant surprise – they even provided a butter knife, which many larger hotels don't! It would be a pretty good deal if the price were under 500.
