Guest UserI picked this B&B at random, and it turned out to be the biggest surprise of my Xingyi trip! As soon as I walked into the room, I saw the stunning, staggered peaks – every photo I took looked like it was professionally shot. The room details were very thoughtful; the toiletries were comprehensive, and they even provided small packets of laundry detergent. The B&B also has an infinity pool built halfway up the mountain, with a tea ceremony setup next to it. Brewing a pot of tea in the afternoon there was simply delightful. The front desk staff was also incredibly helpful, recommending hidden gems and local home-style restaurants, helping me avoid overpriced tourist traps. I've already recommended it to my friends!

I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied!
This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish.
The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture!
The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant!
Thank you, ladies! I hope to see you again soon!

My stay at Bailian Hotel Huangguoshu far exceeded my expectations. It was an incredibly relaxing escape, almost flawless from start to finish, with only two minor details worth mentioning.
The room design beautifully showcased an elegant Oriental style. It was spacious and airy, with exquisite, high-quality soft furnishings. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were complete and top-notch, making it perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the views. The hot springs were a major highlight; the pools were nestled discreetly within the mountains, offering a serene and private environment. The water temperature was perfect, and soaking in the mist-shrouded pools was a fantastic experience, allowing me to relax my mind and body while enjoying the natural beauty.
The service was impeccable. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive, and patient. They were always quick to respond to any requests, providing thoughtful and discreet service that made me feel truly cared for. The food was also exceptionally satisfying. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and the dishes were outstanding. Both the refined dinner and the extensive breakfast balanced nutrition and taste perfectly, delighting my palate.
The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat strong smell of the wooden furniture in the room, which dissipated after opening the windows, and the occasional presence of a few mosquitoes, which could be managed with repellents.
Overall, these minor imperfections did not detract from the overall experience. The hotel delivered top-tier quality in terms of environment, facilities, service, and dining. It truly stands out as an excellent vacation choice around Huangguoshu, and I highly recommend it.

Since it was the off-season, they upgraded me to a suite for free. The environment is really nice, and the room's constant temperature control works great. There's a humidifier, and the living room is spacious, making it perfect for a vacation. Having a private hot spring in the room saves the hassle of going out to a public one. The hotel offers room service for meals, and the food delivered was quite delicious. The only slight letdown was that the TV doesn't have screen casting, so I couldn't watch my favorite shows. Otherwise, it would have been a truly perfect getaway!

Let's talk about the advantages first. It's a new hotel with an aesthetic design. The facilities are relatively new and complete. There is also a playground for children in the park, which is a good place for parents and children. The set meal in the restaurant is large, delicious and cheap. Every service staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. Then let's talk about the disadvantages. Although the service staff is very friendly, the service ability really needs to be improved. The luggage cart in the morning cannot be called, the restaurant does not have drinks (only the lobby bar has), the supplies are insufficient (the room has a brand new coffee machine without capsules), and the bar does not have a ready-made wine list (it's very interesting here. It is said that the hotel has hundreds of thousands of Cuban cigars and whiskeys, but there is no menu. The waiter called on the spot to get a wine list that is not like a four-in-one. It is recommended that the owner check the inventory. It is estimated that it is all loss). At the same time, there is no charging pile in the parking lot of this level of hotel, and you have to go to the town to charge... This service quality is in stark contrast to the facilities. It is recommended that those who take children and parents travel should go early while the hotel is new. It is still quite good. If couples have some quality requirements for vacation, they should choose carefully.

The room was great, and the facilities, although a bit old, were still good – just a stiff faucet that wouldn't budge, haha. The balcony was huge and invigorating, really nice! No need to update the facilities, just keep up with the maintenance, and I'll definitely come back if I get the chance! Breakfast was excellent! And the hot springs were absolutely fantastic!

So far, this is the 3rd hotel we stayed in Tongren, i would definitely say, this is the best and so far for me and family. This JinJiang hotspring hotel really met international standard in terms of counter service (very polite and good attitude receptionist), and service at hotspring area deserves a thumbs up. The room is very spacious, nice interior and important - clean and neat. The water playground is definitely a good place for kids to have fun during summer holiday.
I told the hotel desk that it was my actual birthday yesterday, guess what, they sent me a plate of grapes, so sweet of them.
I would definitely come to this hotel next time when i am visiting my niece and nephew again.

Guest UserAt the beginning of the month, my travel companion, “Peking Duck” (my child), and I explored four small cities in Guizhou – Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and Xingyi. We thoroughly experienced the karst landscapes, caves, waterfalls, and pastoral scenery, all in a comfortably cool climate. Here's a comprehensive guide to share with everyone!
⭕️ Guizhou Geological Museum (reservations required, closed on Mondays, last admission at 4 PM): You can book a guided tour with fossil restoration activities, which is very interesting.
⭕️ Qingyun Market: A great place to eat and explore (definitely try Guiyang's Sour Soup Hotpot – the flavor is unique compared to other regions).
⭕️ Yelang Valley (watch Nuo opera, two shows daily: 12:00-12:30 PM and 3:00-3:30 PM. Kids who enjoy crafts can try plant carving).
⭕️ I personally don't recommend Zhijin Cave for families with young children or the elderly! However, Zhijin Grand Canyon is highly recommended. Enter via the elevator, and the entire route is a downhill walk, making it very lazy-friendly. The scenic beauty is truly impressive and worth a visit!
⭕️ Guizhou Guanling National Fossil Group Geological Park (the fossil digging area is open, but the museum area will open in late July).
⭕️ Huangguoshu Waterfall (‼️ Water Curtain Cave requires reservations and raincoats are a must!). For a lazy-friendly approach: take the round-trip elevator and capture a panoramic shot from above. If you're not up for a lot of walking, you can skip Tianxing Bridge; seeing the main waterfall is breathtaking enough! And a shout-out to the park staff – every restroom is spotless, some even have toilet seat covers!
⭕️ Fenglin Buyi (consider going in the evening when the lights are on – the scenery is even more beautiful. You can experience Buyi culture, songs and dances, iron flower performances, and other unique shows. There are many fun NPC mini-games in the scenic area. Watching the iron flower show from a boat offers a more direct and spectacular view).
⭕️ Kids will absolutely love a full day at Wanfenglin! Fishing, mini-train rides, woodworking, tie-dyeing, fruit picking, making Ciba (sticky rice cakes), and so much more – they'll never want to leave! When they get tired, relaxing at a popular cafe is pure bliss!
⭕️ Maling River Canyon (known as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth.' The scenic area closes at 5:30 PM. For an aerial view, navigate to 'Maling River Canyon Parking Lot 2').
Tips:
‼️ Guizhou attractions can be physically demanding. If you're traveling with children and have limited stamina, opt for lazy-friendly routes.
‼️ Mornings and evenings are cool, but it can be quite sunny during other times, so bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
‼️ Some attractions require advance reservations, so plan your itinerary accordingly!
‼️ Bring raincoats for Maling River and Huangguoshu, and wear non-slip shoes.
‼️ For Zhijin Cave, avoid wearing long pants or white shoes as it can get muddy! The cave temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so bring a jacket.
Among the hotels we stayed at, 'Peking Duck' loved the Huangguoshu Kaiyuan Manju Hotel the most. It offers many parent-child activities, new facilities, and delicious dining!
We enjoyed a cool summer with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius throughout our trip, without any high-intensity rushing. We experienced city life, majestic gorges and waterfalls, underground marvels, pastoral peak forests, and ethnic minority customs all at once. The best classroom is always on the road; what you see with your own eyes is far more memorable than what you read in books. It’s time to get out there with the kids!

XiaochichilaohuOf all the scenic rooms I've stayed in, I genuinely love this one. The room is incredibly spacious; our luggage didn't take up any floor space. The design is minimalist yet sophisticated, and the warm lighting makes the entire room feel exceptionally cozy. You can enjoy an amazing view from the room without even stepping outside – you have to see it to believe it! The hotel facilities are also excellent, comprehensive, and well-equipped. The hot water in the room is plentiful, and the water pressure is great. Really impressive! And the service? Unbeatable. They were incredibly responsive to all our requests, maintained a wonderful attitude from check-in to check-out, and handled everything efficiently without any delays. The whole experience was completely hassle-free. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The hotel has been open for quite some time, and the facilities are well-maintained; I personally think it offers good value for money.
However, I have two complaints. First, the outdoor hot spring water wasn't very clean, especially since I went during the day, so it was quite noticeable. Second, I ordered takeout at night. The delivery guy had already brought it to the front desk at 11 PM, but after waiting for the delivery robot to take it upstairs for over half an hour, it still hadn't arrived. I couldn't get through to the front desk or the main switchboard around 11:30 PM either. In the end, I had no choice but to go downstairs to pick it up myself. During the National Day holiday, with so many people, one robot delivery service is definitely not enough. If there aren't enough robots, they should arrange for hotel staff to deliver instead of making guests wait idly in their rooms.
