The place is huge as a resort with different restaurants, hot spring, and many activities. There are other hotels but I believe this one is the best among them. Coco from the reception speaks perfect English and guided us to the room. Kevin is also very helpful he took me to the Japanese restaurant to check the menu, and made sure I had a comfortable stay. Honestly great service.”

„Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here. Very nice private villa and pool, styled in a classic Chinese design. Clean, quiet, comfortable and high quality. Afternoon tea was nice also.
Minor criticism and not the hotel's fault - the area around the villas was *slightly* noisy. Fireworks, distant music and cars could all be heard. This is standard for China and it didn't spoil it for us but had hoped for somewhere totally silent. Nevertheless would go back here without hesitation.
Tip: You might want to ask them to put a bit old water in the hot spring tub. It was simply too hot for us to enter on the first night.”

„A very comfortable hotel with a relaxing hot spring. The room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a balcony with a beautiful lake view and a large bathtub. Breakfast was decent, offering a wide variety of food. The hotel’s lakeside park was peaceful and perfect for romantic walks or jogging.
The hot spring was enjoyable, though only three pools were open (the others were closed for maintenance). However, the spa massage was disappointing, overpriced and low quality. I would avoid it.”

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tianmu Lake Yuhu Peninsula Hot Spring Hotel (天目湖御湖半岛温泉酒店). From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming.
The room was beautifully clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding nature. The hot spring facilities were fantastic — relaxing, clean, and a true highlight of our stay.

Check-in at the front desk was efficient and the staff were friendly. The location is also convenient for getting around, and it offers great value for money. After the tourists in the scenic spot have dispersed, they enjoy the beauty of the entire mountain top and see the sunset and sunrise. The whole process of Yidaochang is very patient and meticulous, and the chat is very pleasant. He took us to the palace at night and made a vivid and interesting explanation. The quality of sleep is also very good, I haven't slept for a long time with such a good quality. There is also a hidden advantage to live here: burn head incense! Just in time for the day is fifteen, and I went to burn head incense at six o'clock in the morning. A bowl of hot noodles for breakfast, Yidaochang also made coffee, and it was very pleasant to drink coffee with the wind on the top of the mountain. A very unforgettable and very happy journey, highly recommended to stay (live on the top of the mountain has the unique advantage of the top of the mountain, if you are pursuing the standard of a five-star hotel, just... don't want it and want it:)

The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. SSpringFlowersMy family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed.
While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

BboboksrThis is my fourth time staying at the Taicang Karuizawa Onsen Hotel, and I'm still extremely satisfied. This time, I came for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday with my mom, husband, and son. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are serene, well-equipped, and have a quality feel. The hygiene has always been excellent, making for a very reassuring stay.
My favorite part is still the hot springs – warm, comfortable, and very authentic. For me, the cleanliness of the hot spring area is particularly important, and Karuizawa consistently meets expectations in this regard. Each soak leaves me feeling relaxed both physically and mentally, making it perfect for a short holiday getaway.
The hotel's surroundings are also ideal for a vacation. It's about a 15-minute drive to Shaxi Ancient Town, which has lots of delicious food. Nearby is JinCang Lake Park, with its excellent ecological environment, perfect for a family stroll and relaxation. We drove from Shanghai, which took about an hour and a half, so the transportation is very convenient. That's why for the past two years, whenever a holiday comes around, we think of staying here for a few days.
During this stay, the hotel service also felt very warm. The staff were friendly and thoughtful, and the restaurant service was especially attentive, proactively caring for and asking about our needs. When they learned my mom had a sensitive stomach, they even specially added plain congee, which was truly thoughtful. Because we've stayed multiple times over the past two years, the hotel even offered a complimentary private hot spring this time, making us feel their full sincerity and a truly welcoming atmosphere.
In short, the Karuizawa Onsen Hotel has become our family's go-to for short holiday getaways. Everything from the rooms, hot springs, hygiene, and service to the surrounding environment leaves us very satisfied. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance in the second half of the year.

Ggyy986Spent a weekend at the Novotel Suzhou Taihu Hot Spring Hotel and was really impressed by their complete range of facilities. The rooms are spacious and provide a very comfortable stay. There's a great selection of recreational activities, with various hot spring pools and indoor/outdoor swimming pools to choose from. They also have excellent facilities for families, including an indoor play area, kids' water slides, and outdoor adventure activities – truly something for everyone, adults and children alike. The overall environment is clean and tidy. You could easily spend a whole day here without getting bored, making it perfect for a family vacation. The front desk was also very prompt and thorough in resolving any issues.

GGuest UserAn impromptu trip to Nanjing and its surroundings. It took less than 40 minutes to drive from the city to the hotel. The hotel has a great view, directly overlooking the quarry, and offers excellent value for money. It included tickets to Baobao Park, Yangshan Stele, and Jiangsu Thirteen Gardens, as well as afternoon tea. In the evening, we drove to a nearby farm restaurant for dinner, then returned for the 7:30 PM tour of Jiangsu Thirteen Gardens, which featured a dedicated guide and a performance – it was incredibly enriching. The next morning, we had an appointment with Sen Duo Travel Photography on the second floor of the hotel. Fearing the sun, we rushed through the photoshoot in under half an hour, haha, very efficient, and the photos turned out quite lively. Thumbs up! Overall, the experience was great with no unpleasant surprises, so I highly recommend it.

SscanThe hotel proactively upgraded us to a room with a better view, provided advance notice about self-driving considerations, and offered recommendations for local attractions. They even asked if we were traveling with elderly family members or children. The WeChat team, surprisingly, has 16 members from various departments, ensuring quick responses. All staff members we encountered at the hotel were friendly and enthusiastic, greeting us proactively, which made us feel right at home. When other guests accidentally rang our doorbell at night, the staff promptly checked the surveillance footage and explained the situation. While it wasn't the hotel's fault, their attitude towards resolving the issue was very proactive and sincere.
The room design had many thoughtful details. The balcony had a privacy screen, allowing us to enjoy the view while soaking in the private hot spring and keeping insects out. The sink area was well-designed to prevent splashing, and the toilet had a separate small sink, which was convenient (a minor suggestion: the faucet in the toilet was a bit too far from the basin, making it easy to hit the basin while washing hands).
The overall hotel design was also impressive. The lobby resembled the inside of an eggshell, and the staircase leading to the rooftop garden was artistic. You could slowly appreciate various details in the hallways and the exterior, discovering something new each time.
Breakfast was particularly praiseworthy, with a wide variety of options. The freshly cooked noodles were delicious, and the fruit selection was extensive and very fresh. The Mingyue restaurant offered a great view, and the sunset in the evening was beautiful.
Turning left from the hotel and going straight up the road, you can reach Ichishiki Garden for a cup of coffee at sunset. The hotel provided free tickets to Yangshan Beicai and Nature Land. At Yangshan Beicai, after climbing the mountain to see the tablet head and body, you can take an elevator down (free for hotel guests). Following the small path, you can visit the Pioneer Bookstore and the Coca-Cola Brand Hall. If you have children, you can also stop by BaoBao Land, and Nature Land is also great for kids. The hotel shuttle can take you to the underground palace, and then you can take a scenic shuttle to other attractions. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and couldn't experience the cable car and mini-train.
The hotel's location is quite secluded, making it suitable for self-drivers.
Finally, a few suggestions regarding service details. The floor strip at the entrance was loose. We reported it for repair, and they said it was fixed, but it clearly wasn't completely (see the last picture). The front desk's information was not comprehensive enough. When they gave us the tickets for Yangshan Beicai Park, they didn't mention that the elevator inside the park was free. We almost bought tickets if a park attendant hadn't informed us. Also, they said Suyun Thirteen Gardens closed at 4:30 PM, but it's actually open at night. When checking out before 12 PM, there was only one staff member at the front desk, and they were assisting another guest with check-in. Another staff member was standing nearby but didn't offer to help. When it was my turn and I mentioned checking out, he said he would handle it and led me to another counter. Although the wait wasn't long, it was clear that someone could have assisted me earlier, but they didn't proactively ask. And finally, they asked me to complete the review before 2 PM that day... I was still driving back to Shanghai at that time, and it was the first time I encountered a time limit for a review! While it wasn't a pleasant experience, the overall service was indeed good, so I won't deduct any stars.

The hotel offers three types of accommodations: the villa area, Wanghu Tower, and VIP Tower! Wanghu Tower and VIP Tower are closer to East Taihu Lake, but the villa area is very quiet, each having its own advantages. The breakfast for the villa area is separate from the other two. Honestly, for a hotel in this price range, the breakfast offers very poor value for money because the variety is limited and the taste isn't great!
