„We've stayed at Hotel Arissa many times since it's opening. Great location, friendly and helpful front desk, nice room, comfy bed. We love the smell once we enter the hotel lobby...after so many years, Hotel Arissa still maintaining the hotel well. That is why we keep staying here whenever we are in Melaka. Coway water dispenser was well provided at every lift entrance floor and that makes us convenient to get hot or cold water at any time. Thank you for fixing the toilet bowl so efficiently.”

„Stayed at Townhouse Oak Melaka during my recent business trip to Melaka. The hotel’s location was very convenient — close to my workplace and surrounded by plenty of eateries and convenience stores, which made my stay easier. The room was simple and cozy, suitable for a short business trip. However, the cleanliness could be improved, especially the bedsheets and towels, which seemed seasoned and had an unpleasant smell. On the positive side, the price was affordable, and provides water dispenser and parking space, which are definitely useful facilities for guests. With better attention to cleanliness, this place could be a much more comfortable stay for business travellers.”

PPris PanŁadny hotel. Czyste pokoje i odpowiednio wyposażone, ze szklankami i czajnikiem. W moim pokoju śmierdziało ściekami. Ponieważ zatrzymałem się tylko na jedną noc, musiałem się z tym pogodzić. Miałem apartament na parterze, z dala od głównej ulicy. Dźwięk był więc w porządku. Ale izolacja akustyczna między korytarzami a pokojem zdecydowanie wymaga poprawy.

EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient. Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot. Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

CCubieThe location is great, just a few doors away from the BaBa House which just happen to be a lot more renovated and furnished and they charged $250 for the same period i stayed in at Hereen Palm Suites which cost me $105 via Trip.com. It is just 3 minutes walk to Jonker Street and is on the quieter side so you dont get bothered by car traffic and human yet is convenient enough to all the shops and eateries. The whole place has only 10 suites and the rooms are HUGE and clean. Bathroom is huge and water pressure is great and heater works very well, if i am to be picky, it will be complete if they have a bathtub and they should install some toilet hangers for the clothes when you shower. The room aircon is via concealed vents , so its well distributed compared to a standalone FCU unit. Aside from teh bed there is also a daybed in the room, which is comfy and great for lazing and watching the TV. The only flaw i can pick is the mini fridge was not working in my room. Outside of the room, i wish they can open the window in the common area/ corridor, as all the internal space are really not ventiated and they dont turn on the A/C, so you cannot really enjoy the common spaces. Overall, its super value for money and breakfast provided was quite good spread and tasty enough, no complains given that its complimentary. I would give it 8/10 rating.

GGośćThe location is excellent, on the river short walk to Jonker St yet quiet. We had a balcony room. You need to stand to see the view but it was good to have outside space to watch the boats go by. We also saw a monitor lizard swimming.The room was really stylish and the bed was really comfy with lovely  cotton sheets. We stayed 2 nights and there was no cleaning. Wild coriander restaurant next door is excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is owned by a third party and not part of the hotel. It was very convenient to get cabs. We walked to Daily Fix for breakfast which again was excellent.

Housekeeping early morning 9am starting to knock the door twice for make up room until I put do not disturb sign. 24 hours receptionist never answer the call, need to take 1 hour to deliver water and towel for me. Overall, the stay experience was not very good. The room was spacious but felt empty. The price was reasonable and offered value for money, but I would not choose to stay here again. This was a last minute booking. The view from balcony is nice!

GGośćView from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.
