„To mój drugi pobyt w hotelu Guoshi. Wszystko jest doskonałe, a obsługa recepcji jest niezwykle uprzejma. Hotel położony jest tuż przy Harbor Square, co czyni go niezwykle dogodnym. Pokój był bardzo czysty, a pościel również. Wanna była bardzo wygodna; mając 1,7 metra wysokości, mogłem wygodnie wyciągnąć nogi. Suszarka do włosów w hotelu ma silniejszy nawiew niż w wielu innych hotelach, co ułatwia korzystanie z niej. W pokoju hotelowym znajdował się pełen zestaw jednorazowych kosmetyków, w tym ręczniki do twarzy, nakładki na sedes, wkładki do wanny, kubki papierowe, zatyczki do uszu i patyczki higieniczne – przemyślane dodatki. Mam nadzieję, że hotel będzie się rozwijał i będzie jeszcze lepszy! 😄”

„Hotel room is clean. Bed is comfortable. Everything In the room seemed new. Super nice and comfortable. One set-back hotel did not provide disposable sleepers. I could not find it anywhere in the room. I thought this was a standard item in every hotel now. Counter service staffs seemed okay except for a few who are not very helpful. Presumably not knowledgeable. Hotel location is not good. It is away from Railway Station and especially Metro Station. As I rely on subway train or public bus alot to get around as a budget traveller and to blend in into their local life.. And I find it not convenient to get around for sightseeing and others.”

This hotel is absolutely perfect, truly my forever stay in Dalian.
When you request a non-smoking room, it really means zero cigarette smell, which is rare and so appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean and felt fresh and comfortable from the moment we entered.
The view is breathtaking, spectacular, and mesmerizing , you can see Venice Water City and the ocean at the same time. Watching both sunrise and sunset from the room was unforgettable.
The whole building smells good and feels luxurious and elegant. The woman who came to help us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and spoke excellent English, which made everything so easy.
The room is fully equipped with everything you need: toiletries, slippers, clothes hangers, washing machine, fridge ….literally like an apartment. The bed is super comfortable and perfectly clean.
This is my second stay here, and it will definitely be my forever choice whenever I come to Dalian. Highly recommended! 💙”

„We booked this hotel about a month in advance for our New Year trip to Dalian. Since we arrived early, we asked the staff if we could leave our luggage and go out, and they kindly arranged an early check-in for us ㅠㅠ.
The room was very spacious, clean, and new. Whenever there was an issue, such as the heating not being warm enough, the staff assisted us immediately.

The property is really convenient (not to mention its near the sea front, just a walking distance), it is just across the road to Exit D of the Gangwan Square subway and that same line goes directly to the airport.
The staff is so kind and they made sure I am ok and convenient. They communcate everything through wechat and also catered to my request to change the free breakfast from porridge to soy milk.
Their manager is also very nice and communicative. They also gave me tips as well on where to go in Dalian and also give morning updates on the weather

Przebywaliśmy z rodziną cztery noce w The Castle Dalian i bardzo nam się podobało. Nasz przestronny i pięknie urządzony pokój na 12. piętrze oferował oszałamiające widoki na morze, dzięki czemu nasz pobyt był naprawdę niezapomniany.
Holl wejściowy hotelu jest imponująco duży i elegancko zaprojektowany, tworząc przyjazną atmosferę od samego początku. Dla rodzin z dziećmi dostępny jest duży plac zabaw, za który trzeba zapłacić. Na szczęście goście hotelowi otrzymują zniżkę.
Na zewnątrz hotel szczyci się uroczym małym parkiem z fantastycznymi widokami na zatokę i pięknym krajobrazem — idealnym na relaksujący spacer. Hotel położony jest na niewielkim wzgórzu, więc spacer z powrotem do centrum miasta jest trochę długi. Jednak bezpłatny autobus wahadłowy jest bardzo wygodny, zapewniając łatwy transport do miasta i z powrotem.
Nasz pokój był starannie umeblowany i bardzo przestronny, w tym duża i dobrze wyposażona łazienka. Jedną niewielką wadą było to, że obok łóżka znajdowało się tylko jedno gniazdko elektryczne (tylko po jednej stronie) i brak portów USB do ładowania telefonów, co byłoby miłym dodatkiem.
Śniadania i inne posiłki w hotelu były pyszne, z bogatym wyborem dań chińskich i zachodnich. Jedynym obszarem do poprawy byłaby czystość toalet w restauracji śniadaniowej, które niestety często były nieuporządkowane i wymagały częstszej uwagi.
Basen, utrzymywany w temperaturze 27°C, nie był idealny dla małych dzieci, ponieważ nie ma oddzielnej sekcji dla dzieci. Goście powinni również pamiętać, że noszenie czepka pływackiego jest obowiązkowe. Obszar basenu obejmuje mini saunę fińską i saunę parową zintegrowaną z przebieralniami. Jednak obok basenu znajdują się tylko leżaki, więc wrażenia z sauny były zupełnie inne niż relaksujące wizyty w saunie, do których jesteśmy przyzwyczajeni w Europie.

SSam and LeeWe booked two nights at Yiyi Haisu hotel to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a wider view of Dalian's Venice city and sea. The room was large, comfortable and warm. The bedding was comfy and a dream to sleep on.
The reception was very helpful and provided everything that we asked for. We had a great time and would love to come back again ;-)

GGośćMost of the staff do not speak English at all! Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here.
I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment.
The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone.
The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese.
There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt.
The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space.
The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel.
There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee.
The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality.
There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

CCameo19Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether.

아... 단점으로 복도에서 담배 냄새가 좀 납니다.
청소문제가 아니라 실내에서 흡연하는 게 밖으로 나오는 것 같네요.
금연객실 요청해서 배정받았는데 실내는 괜찮았습니다.

AAnonimowy użytkownikThe hotel accepts foreigners. Great location, a walking distance from Dalian Station, essentially on Zhongshan Square. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option.

The house keeping team had entered my room 2 times within the 4 days during my stay.
A not-disturb card was hang as well as the not-disturb light was also turned on.
Upon the first enter, I had went to raise the issue with the hotel. The initial reply was the not-disturb card might be ‘moved’ when I opened the door for exiting. Little that they know I had took photo when I make myself leaving the room. On top of that, the no-disturb light was also on too even they falsely claimed card was moved.
Then the hotel replied that ‘oh no, they must of entered the room to tidy up the room’. Yet, the room was NOT tidying up at all.
Again, what’s the purpose for them to enter the room without my consent and my present? I questioned by expressing this may be a careless mistake which I do not wish to happen to anyone anymore, then I had left the scene and leave it as it is.
It HAPPENED AGAIN next day, I was frustrated and questioning the hotel again. They said they will ‘investigate’ and given me an explanation of what was happening. 2 hours later they rang to my room, and informed me that ‘due to you are staying alone with no companion, it is the policy of the hotel to check up on me to make sure I’m safe’
Really? ARE YOU SERIOUS? This is what they replied me of the case. Number 1, if this is the actual reason, why don’t they tell me the first time when this was happened. Number 2, I had clearly stated I do not wish to be disturbed and yet it has not been respected. Number 3, due to the nature of my occupation, I’m staying in different hotel 9 months out of the whole year. I had never ever heard of this.
Long story short, I will not going back to this hotel nor recommend to anyone.
