„This is a very westerner friendly hotel. Menus in English, staff speak English, etc. You pay for that convenience of course. The views from the room were to die for. The bed itself was just a thin mattress on a board. Not very comfortable. And the bed canopy had dirt or bug stains. The bathroom is basic. But the rest of the room was very clean and well put together. The food was great. Our experience with the staff was mixed. But honestly, the location was so good that nothing else mattered. You could just walk right out onto paths to hike or ride bikes into scenic areas. Or you could just sit on the balcony for an amazing view. The river and mountains are right there. The in-room massage was fantastic. We'll likely go back. Particularly recommend for foreigners. It will be smooth and hassle free.”

„Compared to several nearby hotels, this one offered the best experience. The room was clean, and they even provided warm congee as a late-night snack, which was really comforting after a long day of travel. „Spacious room with nice views (although there is a lot of future development around that may block views). Staff were generous and friendly. Breakfast was varied and the on demand noodle station and egg station was a highlight. Pool was a nice amenity and the laundry room was very useful. Was not accustomed to the people smoking inside in the dining room which did not seem to align with the wellness/health aspect of the space. The design of the rooms also did not have windows which made the humidity above 84%. Thankfully you can ask for a dehumidifier if needed. The beds were very comfortable. It would be nice if they had bikes or scooters to rent on site (or provided shuttle service ) as the hotel is a bit remote.”

Outstanding boutique hotel situated in the most beautiful spot by the Yulong River with breathtaking views in all four directions! We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted. We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel. The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus! We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

Extremely friendly staff and they definitely out preformed and went the extra miles to welcome their guests! The electric scooter rental is great and the price is also good. Location is beautiful, stunning, magnificent and breathtaking! You cannot go wrong with the view in this location and what this hotel has to offer you. There are also many attractions and view points in the location. Breakfast had a nice touch to it and you get a few options,mainly western but also their local noodle dish which you can have for breakfast a great way to experience a different culture. If you need to do laundry then they have the facilities for you to do so. Over all I would come back for sure.

Udzielimy odpowiedzi na większość pytań. Pozwól, że wyjaśnię. Po pierwsze, hotel jest położony w wiosce w Yangshuo. Jest tu bardzo cicho, można spać w nocy i budzić się rano przy dźwiękach ptaków. Pościel jest również bardzo wygodna. Po drugie, w pokoju znajdują się suszarki do włosów marki Dyson oraz pralka. Ogólnie 3 punkty, bardzo dobra postawa pani z recepcji, co dało mi kilka punktów; Wady: 1. Brak izolacji akustycznej. Hałas na zewnątrz jest bardzo wyraźny w nocy. Wymagane są zatyczki do uszu. 2. Pokój ma nominalnie 38 metrów kwadratowych, ale w rzeczywistości jest trochę mały, prawdopodobnie ma tylko około 20 metrów kwadratowych; 3. Brakuje standardowych stołów i krzeseł, a te, które są, wydają się niepraktyczne; 4. Ogólny projekt hotelu jest raczej ciemny. Korytarz w holu jest całkowicie ciemny, tylko kilka świateł jest włączonych. W pokoju są tylko reflektory krawędziowe i lampki do czytania, a nie ma normalnego oświetlenia środkowego. This hotel was not my original choice because to be quiet frank, the hotel looks a bit eery from the pictures then i happened to see that they’re just awarded one michelin hotel star. It changed my mind. And what a good decision to change my mind. There’s nothing spooky about the hotel, the vibes are warm. The design is minimalistic. The breakfast is good. The room is huge, the amenities are grown alchemist. They thoughtfully put outdoor and indoor sandals for you to wear in the room. They gave a free photography service and it turned out quite nice. Very happy with the result. Even if you travel to Yangshuo, this is the hotel you need to book!

We originally booked four night stay, however we cut our stay short by two nights. The reason are the following the food is not too fresh and lacks variety. The service is not exactly good, we had to ask twice to get towels. Furthermore, when we asked for two extra bottles of water, we were told we need to pay for it. I think the above is totally not acceptable for this type of hotel for this price.

Obsługa w recepcji była doskonała. Widząc, jak wielu nas było, proaktywnie podnieśli standard pokoju i zapewnili śniadanie. Zapewnili również kosmetyki dla dzieci. Oboje byli gościnni i sprawni. Parking jest bezpłatny i przestronny. Śniadanie było obfite i byłem bardzo zadowolony z pobytu. Pokój był bardzo wygodny! Hotel jest również bardzo blisko centrum miasta, z własnym, bezpłatnym autobusem wahadłowym, co było bardzo miłe!

The Riverview is a fantastic hotel to stay in Yangshuo! Located very close to Longtoushan wharf, it's very easy to get to if you come to Yangshuo via the cruise. The staff are very helpful, they gave me all the resources I needed during my stay, and were able to be contacted at any point via WeChat. The room was lovely, a comfortable bed and a fantastic view from the balcony! I'd definitely recommend the Riverview to anyone staying in Yangshuo.
