We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others. Location: Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. Zarezerwowałem widok na półksiężyc, kierując się opiniami, że z dachu dziedzińca roztacza się widok na ośnieżone szczyty gór. Po przybyciu do pensjonatu i spacerze po dziedzińcu i dachu, natychmiast postanowiłem przedłużyć pobyt o kolejną noc. Dziedziniec nie jest duży, ale składa się z trzech części, pełnych sukulentów, a każdy zakątek jest malowniczy i niezwykle fotogeniczny. Widok z dachu jest szczególnie niesamowity; ośnieżone szczyty gór są tuż przed nami. Mieliśmy szczęście zobaczyć złoty wschód słońca nad górami dwa poranki z rzędu, a niebo rozświetlone kolorowymi chmurami wieczorem. Dach tak mi się spodobał, że prawie nie chodziłem na zakupy; oba popołudnia spędziłem siedząc na dachu, wpatrując się w ośnieżone szczyty gór. Pokoje w pensjonacie były również starannie urządzone. Łóżka były bardzo miękkie, ale w ogóle się nie zapadały, a jednorazowe kapcie były jeszcze lepszej jakości niż w pięciogwiazdkowym hotelu. Co najważniejsze, pensjonat zapewniał również jednorazowe ręczniki do twarzy i ręczniki kąpielowe doskonałej jakości. Oferowali również popołudniową herbatę i kawę, a właściciel i gospodyni byli bardzo serdeczni i pomocni, zajęli się nawet transportem bagażu. Najmłodsza córka właściciela była szczególnie urocza i sympatyczna, a na miejscu były też cztery urocze pieski. Atmosfera była idealna, a mój przyjaciel po obejrzeniu moich zdjęć zapragnął tam zostać.

Mój przyjaciel i ja świetnie się bawiliśmy w pokoju dwuosobowym „Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room With Bath Tub” w hotelu The Streets Where The Wind Lives (风居住的街道). Gospodarz hotelu, pan Yu, był niezwykle miły, troskliwy i pomocny podczas naszego pobytu – wielokrotnie dokładał wszelkich starań, aby zapewnić nam komfort i bezpieczeństwo. Zarówno właściciel hotelu, jak i gospodarz byli zawsze łatwo dostępni przez WeChat i sprawili, że nasz pobyt w Lijiang był naprawdę przyjemny. Gorąco polecam ten hotel, jeśli planujesz pobyt w Starożytnym Mieście Lijiang! Liczba noclegów: 3 noce Położenie hotelu: 500 metrów (około 10 minut spacerem) od północnej bramy Starożytnego Miasta Lijiang. Do hotelu z miejsca postoju pojazdów trzeba będzie przejść około 2-3 schodów brukowanych; Przewieźliśmy bagaż z miejsca odbioru pojazdu do hotelu samodzielnie, ale można również skontaktować się z pokojówką w celu uzyskania pomocy. Dojazd z hotelu do Starego Miasta Baisha zajmuje około 30 minut. Pokój: Pokój „Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room” znajdował się na trzecim piętrze. Nie było windy, ale pokojówka uprzejmie pomogła nam przetransportować bagaż do pokoju. W pokoju znajdowało się jedno łóżko king-size, dwie szafki nocne (z gniazdkami ściennymi typu I), jeden długi stół przed łóżkiem, jeden fotel bujany oraz okna sięgające od podłogi do sufitu z pięknym widokiem na starożytne miasto Lijiang. W pokoju znajdował się również dach panoramiczny, ale podczas naszego pobytu był on przykryty plandeką. Łóżko i poduszki (jedna miękka i jedna twardsza z pianki memory dla każdego gościa) były wygodne, a pokój czysty. Jedynym minusem była mała szafa z ograniczoną przestrzenią do wieszania ubrań. Łazienka: Przestronna łazienka z prysznicem i wanną. Do dyspozycji Gości są przybory toaletowe (np. mydło do rąk, szampon, odżywka, mydło pod prysznic), jednorazowa szczoteczka i pasta do zębów oraz ręczniki. Dostępne są również gumowe kapcie łazienkowe i jednorazowe kapcie do sypialni. Udogodnienia hotelowe: Dodatkowe 20 CNY/os. za śniadanie w lobby (8:30-10:00; makaron z zupą pomidorową i mielonym mięsem; należy uzgodnić z pokojówką dzień wcześniej), wspólna pralka (bezpłatna, w tym płyn do prania; nad głową znajduje się mały wieszak do wieszania i suszenia ubrań po praniu). Przechowalnia bagażu: Bezpłatna i bezpieczna przechowalnia bagażu w hotelu (np. jeśli planujesz pieszą wędrówkę i nocleg w Wąwozie Skaczącego Tygrysa). Decided to book Orange inn after reading all the good review. It turn out to be a good choice. My family of three enjoyed our stay. Cosy and comfortable room. Quiet and clean. Beautiful ambient. Excellent location.  Super helpful & kind boss. Speedy response on enquiry, which I appreciated much.

The hotel's overall facilities, environment, and rooms are quite good. It's a high-end hotel, but the staff training is seriously lacking. Every day, when entering or leaving, there are young owners or staff members smoking in the lobby, making it impossible to stay there due to the stench. The front desk staff are equally unprofessional. We pre-booked a hotel car to take us to the high-speed rail station, but they said there wasn't enough time to arrange a taxi for us. Then, the hotel car returned, and the driver, also a young man, was probably too lazy to drive us. The front desk told us to just get in, and then the driver actually scolded us, saying he was rushing back and forth 😅. They also advertised complimentary afternoon tea and snacks, but when we went upstairs to ask the staff, they were all young people working in their home clothes, and completely clueless. It was incredibly unprofessional. The hotel breakfast had some good items, but they dared to put out oranges that were completely rotten. Your service staff really need proper training. The hotel itself is高級 and comfortable, but the entire place feels like a gathering spot for unruly youngsters because of your staff and owners.

Had a fantastic stay! The location is really convenient – close to tourist spots but still quiet. Plus, there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeping was excellent. The soundproofing was good too, so I slept soundly every night. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and even recommended some great local eateries, which was a nice touch. It offers great value for money, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

I rarely write reviews for hotels, but I really loved their service. So far, this is the hotel that offers the best service. A staff member explained all the attractions and food options in Baisha Village in detail. They provide afternoon tea, evening snacks, and breakfast—all included in the hotel fees. They also offer other services like candle making and baking classes. Unfortunately, due to my packed schedule, I didn’t get to register for those classes. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and the top-notch service provided.
