The service was impeccable from the moment you confirm your reservation until you leave. They ensure that all and any questions and requests are proactively handled. Their room are exactly as it is with great local architectural vibes yet very warm and cosy. Bathrooms are very clean and no odor which can be a common issue in ancient cities. They are also very connected around and able to introduce restaurants/bars. Fantastic stay! We booked 3 nights, so the hotel provided free shuttle from Lijiang Railway station. The hotel has afternoon tea time from 2-6 pm while after 8-10 pm, there is also fire session for night tea. Our families are really happy. Breakfast is local noodles which is good; we have 1 day to leave hotel early, the hotel staff even prepare packing set of milk and crackers for us. Appreciated very much.The room is clean and like provided in Trip.com. Just only comment for drainage to fix. 6th floor hotel has really great view to see Jade Dragon Snow mountain especially on a sunny day. Hotel staff are really helpful and nice. Overall we are very happy with hotel staff, nice room and many hotel activities.

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

Hotel was well located within the old town so we could easily explore the old town. Hotel includes a photoshoot, tie dye experience as well as daily afternoon tea, free pu-er tea cake and animal encounter which elevated our entire stay and made us felt really welcome. Our personal butler 小周 was also very attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. Only 1 complain is that the hotel room is way too dim.

The amenities were so so complete, they even have conditioner and body lotion that smells amazing! We did not use it but total plus point for free laundry service 🫶🏼. The owner was super helpful and friendly, invited us for tea in the morning. The staff were always present and greeting you whenever you enter and leave the building. One of us got very sick and they were a major help when the rest of us couldn’t stay to take care of her. The only thing I’m slightly aw about was the lack of a view from our window but honestly, everything else made up for it!

The service from the staff are exceptional - they are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also pet friendly, have self service laundry area, and a few exercise machines. Throughout our 16 days travel in Yunnan, it is one of the few hotels that we actually stayed inside the hotel just to enjoy the vistas and amenities (eg. Voice enabled services, 100-inch projector screen, painting of thangkra, etc). During winter, the morming sun will cast its golden glow on the peak of Yulong Snow Mountain, which is a sight to behold. There is milk provided for the night, which is a nice touch for chilly nights. The breakfast spread was delicious and has good variety with a live cooking station for noodles. It is within walking distance to the Shuhe Ancient Town, and the hotel can also provide shuttle service to Shuhe. It is less crowded compared to Lijiang Ancient Town and Baisha Town. Other nearby attractions include Lashihai Wetland Park and the Black Dragon pool. Overall, Mixue is highly recommended for an enjoyable stay!

Jako muzułmańscy podróżnicy, naprawdę doceniliśmy dogodną lokalizację — położoną w czarującej, rustykalnej starówce, a jednocześnie zaledwie krótki spacer od głównej drogi, co ułatwiało znalezienie posiłków halal bez konieczności długiego marszu lub pod górę. Nowoczesna toaleta z bidetem była miłą niespodzianką i dodała wiele komfortu naszemu pobytowi. Przemyślany projekt, nienaganna czystość i ciepła gościnność zajazdu sprawiły, że nasza podróż była niezapomniana. Nie możemy się doczekać powrotu i gorąco polecamy Mu Xue Oriental Inn każdemu, kto odwiedza Lijiang — czy to ze względu na kulturę, wygodę czy wygodę, to miejsce ma wszystko! I am Delightfully Amazed by this renowned famous Banyan Tree Hotel. It is such a Beautifully Constructed Hotel with West Lake like Environment surrounding with Villas giving you a Big Beautiful Chinese style Garden Ambience. I am lucky to get a Free Upgrade to a Villa with Swimming Pools and Jade Dragon Mountain View right in front of Bedroom with a Garden (many thanks to their front office staffs). What impressed me the Most is all their Staffs are so Well Trained on All the Details Focusing on giving you the Best Services that Anyone would ask for. 5 Stars to their Top Management Direction, Management Implementation, All Ground Staffs Dedication to giving World Class Services. Their Restaurant Foods Quality is also very Good and at very Reasonable Pricing for a 5 Stars Restaurant. Do get their Restaurant Breakfast Package which is really Worth it for their Variety and Good Quality Foods. I will highly Recommend this Hotel for anyone that is Visiting Lijiang as even their Location is Perfect at the Middle of the 3 ancient towns so traveling around is within 10-25mins and away from the noisy busy ancient towns. It's my first time spending so much time and efforts to give this honest review because i simply think the Whole Banyan Tree Team deserves it. Impressed, Amazing, Enjoyable, Enchanting, Great Experience, It's a Only Hotel that I will Stay in Lijiang (i cancelled other hotel and extended another 2 more days in Banyan Tree)

The hotel is very clean and located very close to the ancient city of Lijiang. The room is equipped with projector and TV subscription! You can watch your favourite drama after dinner in the hotel =D. Around the hotel has few shops that offers many local snacks! Be sure to try out =D
