„I’ve got to say, this is probably my most favorite hotel that I’ve stayed in during this year’s trip to China. Very beautiful, very clean, love how much space the room has. Want to do your laundry, but the machines are taken up? Just put all your dirty laundry into a bag and take a piece of paper to write your room number down, they will wash and dry it for you, fold it, then deliver to your door! the lady who cleaned our room always stocked us up with free drinks and snacks (even if we didn’t eat/drink any yet). they had le labo shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel (kind of rare to see a hotel stocking conditioner!). this hotel is right next to a big mall. has an amazing view of the city. would totally stay here again. the staff is very friendly and they speak english (though i think the staff at night doesn’t really speak english). the only thing is the lobby is on the 35th floor. when you get to the 35th floor, you have to switch elevators to go to different floors. that’s the only downside to this hotel in my opinion.”

„The location is very convenient. It’s about a 15-minute walk to MixC. The hotel occupies floors 3 to 8 of a building, and I was assigned a room on the 8th floor with a great view. One nice touch was the free minibar. Once you finish the drinks, housekeeping replenishes them daily, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel also offers complimentary afternoon tea every day. The selection is quite limited, but it’s still a nice extra to have. There is a self-service laundry room, although it’s often occupied. Overall, a comfortable stay with thoughtful small perks and a good location.”

Można tu spędzić dzień lub dwa, nie nudząc się ani przez chwilę – do dyspozycji jest fotografowanie, rejsy jachtem, a nawet terapia misami tybetańskimi. Planujemy wrócić, ponieważ tym razem nie zdążyliśmy w pełni nacieszyć się wszystkim. Szczególnie polecam restaurację – jedzenie jest naprawdę, ale to naprawdę niedrogie. Warzywa kosztują 10 juanów, tofu 10 juanów, pół porcji pierogów (6 sztuk) 6,8 juana. Nawet owoce morza są tańsze niż w restauracjach poza hotelem.

I’ve been busy the whole year during 2025, once I’ve been in Shenzhen, I’d definitely choose St Regis Bao A for a quick “staycation”. The butler service is spot on and really comforting after a long hour of travelling. I’ve also recommended the hotel to many of my friends, they all have positive feedbacks with everything the hotel offers. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the city.

Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. MMegas AlexandrosFirst night was a bit of a disaster as I came with a slight cold and he heating in the rooms are inadequate. I ended up sleeping with my jacket on and a dressing gown . Staff by and large had poor English and were quite young so there was a distinct language barrier. Also some of the night porters were quite aloof. The kitchen staff however were excellent and very attentive and attentive It was my birthday during the stay so the manager came to apologise and gave a belated birthday cake which was a nice touch. The rooms were quite nice and views were great
