„The hotel is great, with excellent views. The staffs are attentive and kind. Surrounding of the hotel has no shops. However the hotel has restaurant and bar which could ease our request. Overall I would recommend those looking for nice view, services can consider this hotel.”

„Location: the hotel is located inside Shuangqiao valley national park. The scenic green bus will alight at the hotel so upon arrival, the bus will stop at the doorstep of the hotel or flag it to get further into the national park. The scenic bus will drive all the way towards the redwood forest which is the end point of the park, around 30-45 mins. I highly encourage to stay inside the scenic area as just a day trip will be too rush, with a few days, you get to acclimatize yourself to avoid altitude sickness and also get to explore each location properly and even trek the boardwalk between the locations instead of taking the bus. As long as you don’t exit the national park, you can still utilize your entry ticket and bus ticket. I have stayed for 3 days and was able to use the same ticket for 3 days which was very worthwhile. Service: there is a young male stuff who is very attentive. As soon as the scenic bus alighted me at the hotel, he came out to receive my bag. Also, when I had difficulties flagging the bus since some of them were already full from passengers at the entrance , he came out from the reception just to help me. Besides him, there’s a young lady (without spectacles) who has also been very helpful and friendly and has helped to stop the scenic bus for boarding. Thank you! Room View: if you are looking for a place to take a break, this will be the best place and it is very quiet and the Mountain View is just right in-front. Facilities: the room is very cosy yet big. There’s a bathtub right infront of the mountain view. Overall, it has been a great stay with a with such an amazing view. Will definitely return for a stay if there’s an opportunity.”

„Jaw-dropping mountain views set the tone for an incredibly romantic early spring stay. Waking up to snow-covered peaks outside our room felt almost unreal, and the restaurant was even more panoramic. The interiors were manicured and cosy with every space designed to frame the surrounding mountains. The amenities were luxe from the Dyson hair dryer to Havaiana flip flops and Voss water, and the complimentary arrival treats were a lovely touch (the little tea cake was delicious). Breakfast and the hot pot dinner were also great and perfect for the cold mountain weather. If you’re visiting Mt Siguniang, this is the kind of place that turns the trip into something really special rather than just somewhere to sleep. Highly recommend”

„The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area, making it very convenient to get there. Located halfway up the mountain, it overlooks the entire forest, offering stunning views. We chose a room with windows on both sides; the curtains opened automatically when we entered, revealing the forest right before our eyes. My boyfriend and I were absolutely blown away! Complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in—a plate of washed cherries—along with complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, and cookies. This price, service, and added value far surpasses the thousand-yuan hotels in Siguniang Mountain! A must-visit! The butler drove us to the mountaintop before sunset to a pristine pasture with vast lawns covered in wildflowers—we almost didn't want to step on them! There were practically no other tourists. The view was absolutely breathtaking.”

„The whole hotel and room looks beautiful and clean. However, we had 2 issues with it. We booked a non-smoking room and upon checking in we could smell a cigarette smell. While we thought the smell would go away/ we could get used to it (we are non-smokers), the cigarette smell was really strong. We spoke to the front desk and understood that the hotel was fully booked so we could not change room but we were so gaslighted by the front desk — she came into our room & said she could not smell ANYTHING but only air fresheners smells but cmon, it was 2 people smelling the same thing and my clothes reeked of smoke smell the next day when we moved to another hotel. It’s fine that the hotel was fully booked and we could not change room but this does not mean you should flatly turn down guests and insist on 0 cigarette smell. Rather, simply acknowledging it and performing service recovery could be sufficient. Due to this, we had a really bad stay. Also, hotel was not easy to find, the Google maps location showed that the hotel was at the road side but you have to go up a slope to find it, just FYI for guests.”

„I stayed with a companion at the Mijing Shanyu Tangshe hotel, in a standard room on the hillside, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! The hotel boasts a prime location, very close to the Changpinggou Tourist Center and the scenic area entrance, making it incredibly convenient for visiting the attraction. There's also free parking available on-site, so no worries if you're driving. The staff were warm and friendly, check-in was efficient, and they patiently explained routes and information about the scenic area. Our hillside room was quiet and comfortable, and it even came with an oxygen concentrator, which really helped alleviate any discomfort from the high altitude. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast with a wide variety of delicious options. The room was clean and dry. If you're heading to Changpinggou, this place is definitely worth booking!”
