Hotele Pet Friendly w: Shanghai, China

The rooms are what make the place nice and unique. I booked a normal room but once I saw the cave room when I got there I actually asked to change rooms. The attention to detail of a caveman experience was really good. I was impressed with the drawings and they even have outfits on if you want to have some fun and take pics. It is pet friendly with a 200rmb cleaning fee. Super close to the airport - 12 minute drive. There is a burger king, pizza hut and starbucks outside, with some local restaurants as well as a supermarket. This hotel isn't near the city so it just depends what your needs are. The breakfast in the morning I feel could be better. The coffee machine was not the best and the taste was not good. The desserts seemed to have no sugar in it. The local cuisine was good but not many western options. Bread, croissants, omelet, bacon and some fruit mostly. The breakfast area is beautiful. love how they have set it up. The gym has good equipment. The service of the people working there were fantastic.

We were very happy with our stay at Riverdale Residence. The two-bedroom apartment was extremely comfortable for our family of five, as the unit was very spacious and well designed. The amenities were excellent and thoughtfully provided. The apartment came fully equipped with a washer-cum-dryer, microwave, oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, and a complete set of cutlery, which made our stay very convenient. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and we appreciated having a bathtub. There was ample space to open our luggage, generous wardrobe space for hanging clothes, a full-length mirror in the living room, and a dedicated cabinet for storing shoes. The living and dining area was also very comfortable, with a four-seater dining table where we enjoyed meals that we ordered in. The location is convenient, with Xintiandi within walking distance—about a 10-minute walk if you don’t mind a short stroll. Most importantly, the service staff were exceptionally helpful and polite throughout our stay. We were very impressed by their service and hospitality. We would definitely book Riverdale Residence again if we return to Shanghai.

Później jedno z nas poszło do łóżka małżeńskiego, a drugie wyszło na zewnątrz na spacer po schodach i potem wróciło. To naprawdę niewygodne. Szklane drzwi na pierwszym piętrze, które zasługują na szczególną krytykę, nie mają listew antykolizyjnych. Mój przyjaciel prawie doznał kontuzji, gdy na nie wpadł. To niedobrze i należy to jak najszybciej poprawić. Śniadanie nie jest złe, przynajmniej jest to pozycja, której nie trzeba odliczać, a postawa kelnera i kierowcy też jest w porządku. Nie zrobiłem żadnych zdjęć pokoju, ale zrobiłem kilka zdjęć podwórka, które musiało zostać odnowione w starej fabryce.

The Stay: I recently stayed at the Yunboye Hotel Shanghai Pudong Airport, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a stress-free transition near PVG, this is the place to be. Everything from the food to the room quality exceeded my expectations. Highlights: Service: The staff is incredibly professional and welcoming. Check-in was seamless, and they are very efficient at handling the needs of international travelers. Room Quality: The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and—most importantly—perfectly soundproofed. I had a great night's sleep without any noise from the airport nearby. The bedding is very high-end and comfortable. Dining: The food was a major highlight. Whether it was the breakfast spread or dinner, the quality was top-notch with a great variety of options. It’s rare to find an airport hotel with such excellent culinary standards. Final Thoughts: This isn't just a convenient place to sleep; it’s a high-quality hotel that makes travel much more enjoyable. I highly recommend it for anyone flying in or out of Shanghai.

Review: The Langham Shanghai — Still Well-Located, But No Longer the Same The Langham Shanghai has long been one of my preferred hotels, especially before the pandemic. After many stays, I’ve come to expect a certain standard of hospitality, consistency, and refinement. This recent visit, however, showed a noticeable decline across several areas. Service Overall service from the staff was acceptable. Front-line employees remained polite and tried their best. However, the manager on duty—a Caucasian manager—felt out of touch with Asian hospitality norms. His attitude came off as dismissive and rude, which immediately set the wrong tone. The contrast between the staff’s warmth and his behavior was striking. Breakfast Buffet The most significant drop was in the breakfast buffet. Quality has slipped in a way that’s hard to ignore: food didn’t taste as fresh, dishes weren’t as well prepared, and the overall selection felt uninspired compared to previous years. At this point, it’s honestly better to go out for breakfast. Room & Housekeeping Room cleanliness was fine, but small inconsistencies added up. Turn-down service was missed on some nights. When I requested water refill, the staff who arrived seemed confused about why she had been sent up, leading to an awkward exchange. These are small moments, but in a five-star hotel, they highlight cracks in training and coordination. Overall Impression The Langham Shanghai still has one unbeatable strength: location. But nearly everything else has declined—food, consistency, management attitude, and attention to detail. After years of loyalty, I’m now considering switching to a different hotel for future trips. The experience simply didn’t match the standards I’ve known and trusted from The Langham brand. A disappointing stay from a once-reliable favorite.
