Crowne had all the things needed. But, stock the bar to fit the menu advertised ;-) Make sure to trek to the art gallery and IOMA. Big Whale bar is on the walkway behind the hotel. Snacks and full bar. About 25-30 minutes from Old Street and 15-29 minutes from the Weizhou Ferry Port (has mall). Fireworks beach maybe 10 minutes away with food stalls.”

It's in an interesting part of town, close to both Beihai old street and the seafront, though a long way from the best beaches on the other side of the city if that's what you want. The room was great, spacious and well looked after. The staff were helpful and the public laundry station on the roof made life easier.”

GGuest UserI chose this hotel on Trip.com and I'm so glad I did, I loved it! Very satisfied! It's super close to Beihai Golden Beach. From the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you can gaze out at the sea and the boardwalk, with the beautiful blue coast as the main theme – it's incredibly peaceful. What's even better is the exclusive private access directly to the beach, it's just a two or three-minute walk! The privacy and security are excellent, I really loved it. After coming back from the beach, you can relax and cool off in the back garden right above the pathway, and there's also a huge and beautiful infinity pool!

GGuest UserWe had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

It's super close to Qiaogang Style Street, so every evening we just rented a scooter from right outside the hotel to grab some snacks. The beds were really comfortable too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beihai.

Parking is convenient, and the receptionist, Xiao Jian, is very helpful and introduced nearby tourist attractions. It's great value for money; I'd extend my stay for two more days. Highly recommended!

XxxzxrFor this May Day holiday, I chose the Shangri-La Hotel, and as an established hotel, the service was indeed excellent. Long before our arrival, they assigned Ivy, our butler, to assist us with various arrangements, making our check-in incredibly smooth. The hotel breakfast also has a children's area, though it's a bit small. Throughout our stay, any questions we had were answered promptly, and they even helped us book children's activities and a travel photoshoot.

1. The location is excellent, right next to Silver Beach. It's just a few minutes' walk to the sand. The room views are expansive, offering fantastic ocean vistas, making it super convenient for enjoying the beach.
2. The hotel's pool facilities are comprehensive, with clean water and a dedicated children's play area. My kids loved playing in the pool all day long – perfect for families.
3. There was a minor issue during our stay, but the staff responded very quickly after we reported it. The problem was handled properly and efficiently within a short time, which we really appreciated.
Special thanks to these four thoughtful staff members:
First, on June 20th, a tall, sturdy woman with glasses and short hair in the breakfast buffet restaurant was incredibly warm and attentive, offering help proactively and providing meticulous service.
Second, the concierge gentleman who answered the phone around 5:40 PM on June 20th was very quick to resolve our issue, as was the engineering department uncle who came to our room afterward – he was efficient and polite.
Third, the concierge uncle (with a bit of a belly, haha) on May 21st at noon, who proactively helped us with our luggage, carefully organizing it into the trunk. He was attentive and thorough throughout.
Although it's not the newest hotel on Silver Beach, we've gotten used to it and will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Beihai.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite close to the old town street, with the sea right behind it. I saw people fishing, though I'm not sure if they caught anything. There's a swimming pool at the hotel, but the weather was a bit cool, so I didn't go in. Instead, I sat by the edge watching kids learn to swim. Staying here was very convenient. I bought some dried seafood to take home; the price was reasonable, and fresh seafood would have been too difficult to transport.

It is very comfortable to sit on the terrace at night and have a snack with the sea breeze. But the hotel facilities are too old, have not changed for so many years, every time before the decision is very entangled, to choose a convenient location and invincible sea view, you must sacrifice the comfort of the accommodation, hope to renovate, do not waste this location advantage.

It is not far to take a taxi to Qiaogang Food Street. The room facilities are complete, there is an elevator, and the hotel front desk service attitude is very good.

GGuest UserThis stay at Guanling Mountain Villa in Beihai truly exceeded my expectations! I must give a huge shout-out to Ms. Ziyuan and Ms. Shuwen! They were incredibly kind and considerate, patiently helping me with any issues. Their excellent attitude made me feel very warm and welcome.
I booked a sea-view room, but after seeing the rooms, I decided to upgrade to a sea-view room for an extra cost, and the experience was so much better! The location is absolutely fantastic, nestled between mountains and the sea, with incredibly comfortable scenery. The sea breeze was so relaxing, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. The room facilities were complete and easy to use, and the overall environment was very quiet. I was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness; it was spotless, with attention to detail, making me feel very safe and secure. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The environment, facilities, and service were all top-notch. It was so peaceful and pleasant to stay here. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Beihai. Highly recommended!
