„I stayed here with my girlfriend during the Chinese new year, and we loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially the boy who helped with our luggage and the restaurant staff, such as Wang Xiaomei who welcomed us each morning. The hotel is very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The only problem I had, as with all HI hotels I’ve stayed in recently, is that the pillows are uncomfortable and need replacing, and the duvet is far too thick for the warm weather in Beihai. Also, they advertised on Ctrip that they have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work. Overall, a good stay though thanks to the staff.”

„Next to the beach walk and away from the fireworks. Crowne had all the things needed. But, stock the bar to fit the menu advertised ;-) Make sure to trek to the art gallery and IOMA. Big Whale bar is on the walkway behind the hotel. Snacks and full bar. About 25-30 minutes from Old Street and 15-29 minutes from the Weizhou Ferry Port (has mall). Fireworks beach maybe 10 minutes away with food stalls.”

„We stayed for a week and the house keeping services were missed one day. We need to speak to the front desk for the cleaning services. Floor wasn't clean as dirty spot was found! Food provided at breakfast didn't have many choices, they didn't change the menu at that week we stayed!! Child at 2 & half years old needs to pay. We didn't know it when we booked the hotel!! There is no written policy about the charge fee for kid's breakfast!! There is a coffee and pastry shop next to the lobby. No one clean the seating area at the coffee shop overnight!! We saw trash around the area in the morning when we passed the shop. There are children library, indoor ball pool, water slide, children are happy to hang out. Walking to Silver Beach takes about 15 minutes but DiDi or taxi is around!!”

„酒店地理位置絕佳，就在銀灘對面，帶孩子挖沙很方便，結果娃大了説已經不喜歡挖了😂同樣也因為在銀灘邊上，7點多樓下就很熱鬧，影響睡眠，而且春節期間人太多，這個位置不好打車，最方便的是電瓶車出行。房間設施該有的都有，就是淋浴間衹有半個隔斷，毫無作用，洗完澡整個浴室都是濕的，擋不了一點水。酒店門口能停車，工作人員會為客人留好停車位，贊一個。因為訂的早，總體來説春節期間性價比還是高的。”

„I would really recommend this hotel just for the private beach! The public beaches are full of people, but this hotels beach was very calm and pleasant. In the evening we had a meal on the beach. The view from the room (on the sea side) was stunning. The buffet breakfast is amazing. Huge variety of choices. My only complaint would be the bathroom that felt a bit run down. Would need to be refreshed.”

Usually when I go out on my own, I choose a hotel. Hotels are relatively clean. When traveling with my family, I choose B&Bs or apartments. However, the hygiene is not as good as that of a hotel. I see that the sheets and duvet covers are ironed and wrinkled. This must have been changed. I own a hotel and I know that. , I turned over the pillow at night and found blood stains, which made me feel uncomfortable. I immediately took out a disposable product and put it on. The blood-stained pillow was thrown directly on the floor. It was useless. The service was very good. I answered all questions. The room There is no water distribution, you need to buy your own water. There should be two bottles of water as standard, and this is a suite, so overall it is just okay! Facilities, the elevator was bad on the first day, such a big building, there were two elevators on dozens of floors, and the people waiting were dying. We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by Qiaogang Beach. It's super close to Qiaogang Style Street, so every evening we just rented a scooter from right outside the hotel to grab some snacks. The beds were really comfortable too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beihai.

The location is excellent, right across from the beach, making it very convenient for families with children. The room is clean, has a balcony for drying clothes, and is fully equipped. Parking is convenient, and the receptionist, Xiao Jian, is very helpful and introduced nearby tourist attractions. It's great value for money; I'd extend my stay for two more days. Highly recommended!

Having stayed in numerous hotels both domestically and internationally, the Shangri-La Beihai stands out as the best experience we've ever had. Right behind the hotel is Golden Beach, perfect for stunning sunset views, and if the tide is right, you can even go clam digging. Our dedicated butler, Lily, provided excellent service throughout our stay, promptly assisting with both travel inquiries and daily needs. Last night, during afternoon tea, my husband, who has sensitive teeth, was kindly offered a bowl of very soft noodles specially prepared by Lily. The attention to detail in their service is truly impressive. This hotel is ideal for both short trips and relaxing getaways. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to coming back!

Extremely clean and tidy! The lobby, restaurant, and rooms are all very spacious. The buffet breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully served until 10:30 AM 😭. It's very close to Silver Beach, and you can see the sea right from the hotel window. There's a foot-rinsing station conveniently located at the beach exit. The hotel boasts both indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were all so gentle and patient. Both days we stayed in Beihai, it rained during the day, but we still had plenty to do and enjoy within the hotel. Excellent value for money!

It was a great time to travel! The hotel's front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The butler service was a real plus; they sent WeChat messages with useful tips and information, which really helped us navigate and avoid any detours. We also got a free upgrade to a larger double room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The pool wasn't crowded, so we had a very pleasant swim. Overall, a great experience! And Beihai has so many delicious food options too.

The hotel is very close to Silver Beach, right at the entrance of Silver Beach, within walking distance, and there is a restaurant on the first floor. It is not far to take a taxi to Qiaogang Food Street. The room facilities are complete, there is an elevator, and the hotel front desk service attitude is very good.
