I spent a weekend here, and it was a great experience! My apartment was absolutely fantastic, offering breathtaking views from the 42nd floor. Waking up to that sea view every morning was truly a highlight of my stay. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The facilities and services provided by the hotel are top‑notch. The hotel staff are helpful and professional. I am glad I chose this hotel for my trip! I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent there. Overall, my stay was great. The front desk staff were friendly and Jade checked me in very efficiently. The room was clean and tidy, with fresh bedding, and the bathroom facilities worked perfectly with no unpleasant smells. The location is convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It was quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel offers good value for money, pays attention to detail, and exceeded my expectations. It's suitable for both short trips and longer stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation.

Our stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The hotel itself looks absolutely amazing, it truly feels like staying in a castle, both from the outside and inside. Our room had a beautiful sea view, which created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, and the café with its balcony overlooking the sea was a wonderful place to enjoy coffee. The food at the café was also very good. One of the highlights of our stay was the concierge service. The concierge was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. He assisted us many times with our deliveries and always made a great impression. Most of the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming as well. The hotel’s location, away from the city center, is actually a big advantage for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The beach is not crowded, and the swimming pool is usually peaceful and not busy. However, there are some areas where the hotel could improve. The room cleaning service needs more attention. It wasn't good at all. Some cups at breakfast were also dirty or cracked. The service at the café could be improved as well. When we came to order afternoon tea at around 5 PM, one of the young staff members seemed unhappy and impatient because it was close to the end of his working day. After making a short call, we were told that the kitchen was not answering and that they were no longer working. This experience did not feel very welcoming. Though I understand he really wanted to leave work asap, he could share it with his coworker after we left, not in front of us 🤣 The hotel also has a Japanese restaurant, but the staff could not provide clear information about its opening days or availability. We were told it might be open on Thursday and Friday, but it was not certain. Another concern is the small zoo area. animals appeared to be staying outside in the heat all day. In particular, there was a dog kept in a cage outside during very hot weather (around 35°C), which was concerning and seemed unsuitable for the animal’s comfort.. The beach near the hotel was unfortunately quite dirty, which is something that could be improved. Regarding the swimming pools, the indoor pool felt quite cold, especially with the air conditioning, making it difficult to enjoy with a child when the outdoor weather is too hot. The outdoor pool area also has limited comfortable seating. There are only a few lounge chairs, and adding soft cushions or mats would greatly improve the experience and make the area more relaxing. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, views, and peaceful location. The hotel has great potential, and with some improvements in service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, it could become an even better experience for guests.

From check-in upon arrival to answering all my questions throughout my stay and finally a smooth check-out, every step reflected the professional standards of a five-star hotel, far exceeding my expectations. As soon as our car pulled up to the hotel entrance, a front office staff member proactively approached to guide us, thoughtfully directing us to the lobby for check-in. Stepping into the lobby and approaching the reception area, the staff members were consistently warm and friendly in their tone, providing genuine and sincere service, completely devoid of any robotic, impersonal feel. The check-in process was highly efficient and streamlined. During the process, they took the initiative to meticulously explain all key information, including suite privileges, important notes on using the room key card, opening hours for hotel facilities, and 24-hour service contact details. Everything was explained clearly and comprehensively, saving guests the trouble of having to ask individual questions. As it was my first time visiting Qingdao, I wasn't very familiar with the city's attractions or unique touring routes. Initially, I just planned to quickly check in and head to my room to rest. However, the front office staff attentively noticed my travel needs and, combining them with my preferences, patiently shared recommendations for local hotspots, the best times for scenic views, and reliable tour route planning. They thoughtfully helped me avoid crowded areas and proactively identified potential needs I hadn't even voiced, offering personalized suggestions. This spontaneous, heartwarming service instantly melted away the fatigue from my journey. During my several-day stay, whether it was during my daytime excursions or a late-night query, simply calling the front desk for changes in itinerary, booking taxis, local travel tips, or room-related coordination issues, the phone was always answered quickly. The staff consistently maintained a patient and meticulous attitude, diligently listening to my requests and providing practical solutions. Their response time was incredibly fast; there was never any delay, perfunctory response, or passive feedback. It was clear that the entire front office team had well-defined roles and worked seamlessly together, handling various guest inquiries with poise and professionalism. Their professional competence was truly outstanding. At check-out, the front office procedures were equally simple and fast, with no long queues or waiting times. The billing and verification process was transparent and efficient, making the entire experience hassle-free. From the initial reception upon arrival, through the constant support during my stay, to the thoughtful farewell at departure, the front office consistently maintained a steady and heartfelt service, truly ensuring that every need was met and every guest felt cared for. Much of this wonderful stay experience is owed to the meticulous service of the front office team. If I return to Qingdao, I will still prioritize this hotel, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all fellow travelers.

The hotel is right next to May Fourth Square, just a 10-minute walk away! The room is very spacious, a suite with two bathrooms. The bedroom's bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub, and the ocean view outside is also beautiful! The cleaning lady for the room was exceptionally good, always replenishing mineral water and juice promptly every day. The front desk service was also excellent; sometimes when we returned late and couldn't find a parking spot, they would proactively come to the main entrance to direct and help us find one! Overall, next time I visit Qingdao, this hotel will definitely be on my list!

The positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question. After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

Traveling with kids, my priority was a hotel with direct beach access, which led me to choose the Hyatt Regency Qingdao Shanhai. The location is truly a huge plus! 🌊 You can go straight down to the beach from the hotel and even catch the sunrise over the sea, which significantly enhanced our experience. It's also very close to Wheat Island, Fushan Forest Park, and the Polar Ocean World, making sightseeing and excursions effortless. The executive lounge offers breathtaking views and a wide panorama, and the food quality is excellent; it's a very pleasant spot to relax. A special thanks to Sheila ✨ from the staff. She was incredibly patient and attentive from the booking stage, helping me compare and analyze the executive and sea-view rooms, giving suitable recommendations based on my needs, and enthusiastically suggesting nearby attractions. She also arranged for a child safety rail. Since we were with a child, we also received a complimentary sand play bucket. I initially expected an ordinary freebie, but I was pleasantly surprised by its excellent craftsmanship and quality; my child absolutely loved it. The service throughout our stay was meticulous and thoughtful, making for a truly wonderful overall experience. Highly recommended for families with children! We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao.

This hotel is right by the sea, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. You're just a few steps away from seeing the ocean, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. The room was absolutely huge, and the price was very reasonable. Shandong people are so generous! Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'm definitely staying here again. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Qingdao while on a family road trip. It's an older five-star hotel that's been open for years, so the facilities feel a bit dated, but they're well-maintained. The guest rooms have an elegant, understated European retro style with plenty of stone and wrought iron decor, giving off a 'old money' vibe. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a spacious 60-square-meter suite. The layout was excellent with distinct zones, so there was plenty of room for the whole family without feeling cramped. At just over 600 yuan, it offered outstanding value for money. I especially want to praise the bedding – it was soft and breathable, making for a great night's sleep and effectively easing the fatigue from our long drive. The front desk staff were prompt with their service and very friendly towards children. The hotel is centrally located on Hong Kong Middle Road, with convenient parking for those driving, and easy access to the beach and shopping areas. It's truly ideal for family travel.

The hotel room was very spacious, facing the sea, and super comfortable. Waking up to the ocean view every day was incredibly refreshing. The sea changed colors at different times of the day and in varying weather conditions, which was beautiful. Both the room and bathroom overlooked the sea, which was stunning. However, the lighting in the shower area was too dim, and some of the facilities felt a bit outdated. Housekeeping was diligent, but the cleanliness of the beds could be improved. The hairdryer in the room was very noisy and old. Ordering takeout was incredibly convenient, with a robot delivering it right to the door. The front desk staff were also very helpful and provided excellent service.
