3-Star hotele w: Macau, China

The environment is decent, but the soundproofing in the room isn't great. You don't need to bring a travel adapter as there are plenty of USB ports. Be careful in the bathroom – the shower area gets very slippery, and I almost fell several times. Breakfast is a set menu, not a buffet, and only one portion is provided per room. If two people are staying, the second person won't get breakfast. Also, you have to hand over the room key for breakfast, even though they only provide one key. The elevator requires a key card to operate. The value for money is average, but the location and public transport links are excellent.

The Hotel is clean and simple with big rooms and cold A/C but no coffee only tea and water with free sample cookies , breakfast is ok but offering the same everyday and not serving American like bread and butter , pancakes, ham and bacon or sausages only pure chinese cuisine and limited drinks . when you check in they will asked for a deposit of MOP 500 either by cash or credit card even if you have prepaid the rooms way in advance . Until now the amount has not been credited back to my debit card since I checked out 2 days ago.

## Location: Absolutely a fantastic 5-star location! The hotel is directly opposite Sands, and Fisherman's Wharf is right next to Sands. March is the off-peak season in Macau, so there's no direct bus from Hengqin Port to Sands. You need to transfer at The Venetian, but it's still quite convenient. From Sands to the hotel, you have to cross a pedestrian bridge, but there's a 24-hour elevator. Once you exit the elevator, it's not a long walk in either direction, which is very helpful for travelers with luggage. ## Surroundings: To the right of the hotel, there's a small alley that leads directly to Macao Polytechnic University, less than 100 meters away, making it super convenient for students taking exams there. A 5-minute walk to the left will take you to the Lotus Square, and you can also see the Golden Lotus from the pathway behind the hotel. If you head right out of the hotel and walk straight down the main road for 15-20 minutes, you can reach the Grand Lisboa and Macau Tower. There are plenty of dining options nearby, probably due to its proximity to the university, with choices for all budgets. ## Facilities: The hotel reception is on the second floor. The interior facilities are complete, and the bedding and amenities are good. The room also has a refrigerator. The room isn't huge but doesn't feel cramped. ## Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well and felt comfortable. However, the windows are sealed, so upon first entering, there was a slight musty smell due to lack of ventilation. Thankfully, it dissipated after turning on the air conditioning and ventilation system. ## Environment: The hallway soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people walking and talking outside the room. Traffic noise from the street outside also comes through at night. However, this seems to be a common issue with hotels and can't be avoided. ## Service: The front desk staff are busy but very responsible, and they can switch between Mandarin and Cantonese freely for guests. A deposit is required for check-in, and Alipay is accepted.

The room size was perfect for my friend and me, and the price was excellent. The transportation was very convenient, with a bus stop just a few minutes' walk away. Overall, it was really convenient! It's just right for traveling with friends and family, and there are many popular restaurants within walking distance, all with great food. The staff we encountered, like Zika, Delia, Leslie, and Yoyo, all provided excellent service 👍

Overall, it was much better than I expected. The location is right next to Grand Lisboa, making it very convenient to get to attractions by car. As soon as I entered the room, the air conditioning was on. It was generally quite clean, and there was a window sill you could sit on. I had seen many reviews saying the service was bad or that staff were discriminatory, but I didn't experience that, as I barely interacted with anyone during my stay. The deposit could be paid with Alipay. There were also outlets that didn't require a converter, though I brought one myself anyway. These are all just my personal feelings!

I stayed only for 1 night and I was kindly upgraded to a double room. The location is wonderful! Reception is friendly and nice. Deposit is required (do not forget some cash). Breakfast is in Chinese style, so in my opinion for westerners it is better to have some food somewhere else. The room itself is quite comfy and fine. However, there's no desk, which might be a problem for traveling remote workers. The carpet, as in many Chinese hotels, seems never be washed or beaten. There’s a bath 🛁, but the tap and showerhead in the room 905 seems need to be fixed (actually seems like better be changed), because of the water pressure issue and limescale. But it is a good value for money though 💰

The moment I opened the room door, I felt relieved. Sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows onto the pristine white sheets, and even the creases gleamed with cleanliness. The bathroom tile grout was sparkling clean, and the neatly folded towels were still warm from sterilization. What truly put my germaphobe mind at ease was that the carpet didn't have even the slightest odor. The service was excellent, and the hotel is very close to the attractions with convenient transportation, as the bus stop is right next door.

Hotel is easily from taipa ferry terminal by taking buses AP1 and 36. Many eateries around the area. Walking distance to taipa walking street where there are lots of food, souvenirs and specialities deom macau. It is a distance (20 min) from the venetian and Galaxy hotels but you can walk through the taipa street. There is a LRT station opposite Galaxy hotels. The room is spacious and the hotel upgraded my room. They also have free shuttle service to gongbei border if you want to go to Zhuhai. The only problem is the musty smell in the hotel foyer and along the corridor. There are also not enough hangers in the toilet to hang your clothes. The rooms are nice and very clean, the deluxe double room has a sofa and a refrigerator; each room has mainland charging sockets. There's a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and a sky garden on the rooftop, which is a bit small. The service is also very good. The location is next to Guia Lighthouse hill, which might be a bit out of the way for some people, but getting around is still convenient. The hotel offers shuttle buses to some attractions, and there's a public bus stop next to the basement level. It's about 900 meters to Senado Square and Grand Lisboa on foot, but the path to the hotel is uphill. There's an elevator that goes directly to the hotel entrance from one point. I'm very satisfied with this trip!

Walking into the room, I was pleasantly surprised! It was so tidy, clean, and bright. I honestly didn't expect much from a hotel so close to the airport, but everything I saw was lovely. The view from the window was also refreshing. Even though it's practically next door to the airport, it wasn't noisy at all; it was very quiet at night. Getting around was super convenient too. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time!
