We stayed in the igloo and we had great time. Friednly staff. However there is nothing aroud the hotel area. Nearest town is about 15mins and taxi cost will be ard eur20 per trip.
Przyjazny personel. Dobra lokalizacja, a zakwaterowanie jest bardzo ciche. Cena nie jest szczególnie atrakcyjna w stosunku do ceny. Pościel nie jest nawet wliczona w cenę. Udogodnienia są raczej skromne.
Wilderness Hotel Juutua is a charming and peaceful hotel located just outside the town center of Inari, right next to Lake Inari. The lakeside location is truly beautiful, offering stunning natural views and a calm atmosphere that feels very special, especially in winter.
The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, with warm smiles that make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.
The room is warm and comfortable, which is important in the cold Lapland climate. However, the room feels quite small for two people, especially when traveling with luggage. Moving around and storing suitcases can be a bit inconvenient.
Bathroom amenities are mostly sufficient, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be expected at this level of hotel. Other amenities are well prepared.
Breakfast quality is good, but unfortunately we could not fully enjoy it because it closes too early at 10:00 AM, which may not be ideal for guests who prefer a relaxed morning or late start.
Overall, Wilderness Hotel Juutua offers a beautiful lakeside setting, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere. Despite some minor drawbacks such as room size and limited bathroom amenities, it is still a very pleasant stay and a great choice for travelers looking to experience the natural beauty of Inari.
Excellent hostel in a central location! I was able to walk to the local attractions and shops quite easily.
Staff is friendly and helpful and the hostel is clean. Sheets and towels are provided and a coded locker too.
The best part was the free use of the sauna for one hour in the evening, very enjoyable! I will definitely stay here again!
The property is at a perfect location, which enjoys the most convenient transportation to and from the airport. The benefit of its being near the city town is unbeatable.
Palvelu ja tilat hyvällä tasolla mutta aamupalassa kehittämisen varaa.

XXiaojiejieIn the mountains~
It is more convenient to drive by yourself!
There are not many people, very quiet~
It takes about half an hour to drive from Santa Claus Village
Drive into the woods of the hotel. There is a kind of lonely beauty!! It is also very mysterious...
There are also deer in the hotel!
It’s a pity that I didn’t see the northern lights this time
GGuest UserBuffet breakfast, diversified styles, my favorite salmon, eggplant juice beans and wheat skin, and a self-service waffles machine, let the guests make their own waffles 🧇, hot and very delicious! The hotel is on the side of the river in River Juutua, you can see the beautiful view of the river in the restaurant and room, first-class enjoyment! The front desk clerk was happy to answer our questions, and some were smiling! The waiters and food in the hotel restaurant (Aanaar) reached the level of a 5-star hotel. When serving, each dish will be explained, what is its main dish, side dish and juice! The most unfortunately, the thermostat does not have temperature, and the weather is not too cold. There is a hot tube for drying clothes in the bathroom, and the wet clothes are drying quickly!
CChris LumThis was a great location slightly out of the city to catch the Northern Lights without going on a tour (we saw it two nights out of two)! The glass cabins were well kept and clean, we were two adults and two teens and there was enough space for everyone. Note that this resort serves only five cabins and no one else, so the exclusivity is unsurpassed! It is also beside a frozen lake and you can walk to the middle to catch the auroras. A lot of nature activities to occupy the family in the daytime. Some recommendations would be the sauna+frozen lake dip, ice fishing and hiking to the rock church. The founder of the resort, Theo, is ultra friendly and nice and all the staff there (shoutout to Millie and Guillaume!) really go above and beyond to help make our stay there so memorable. All the photos uploaded I took with just my iphone16. All in I was extremely happy we chose this place for the Rovaniemi leg of our trip.
JJason Choong YCStrategic location easily accessible to the nearest shopping mall & Santa Claus office in the city centre. Room wise is very clean with comfortable mattress, shower & everything (with hand bidet is definitely a plus point!) It comes with free access to sauna between 6 to 7pm daily for men as well. Receptionists are very friendly, humble & helpful. Able to meet up with guests from all over the world in the sharing kitchen & living area. Will definitely recommend to all my friends who visiting to Rovaniemi in future.
TTan SMThe Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast. For the adventurous, you can go to the nearby supermarket and cook your meal in the sheltered fireplace. Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating.
MMok TMSantasport Hotel is an integrated resort with accommodation, trekking, skiing, bike riding, snowboarding and many other winter activities. They have track for all the activities and it was an enjoyable trip to explore the woods during winter.
The hotel has a bowling alley, swimming pool and sauna. It also has a cafe
Checking in and out was a breeze and the staff are friendly and helpful. They attend to all guests need and never fail to impress.
Room size was reasonable and they also have a clothes drying cabinet. Bed is comfy and I had good sleeps. Breakfast was good with quality soread.
Will return to Santasport Hotel if I come for my winter holiday in Rovaniemi.
MMintFuss free stay and breakfast provided in the fridge was satisfactory. Amenities and overall interior are excellent.
The cons may be that the lobby doesn’t have common toilet access and the check in time is quite late (though they did notify earlier check in after). I did not know my breakfast was provided in the fridge as it was not in the email confirmation or instructions.
GGuest UserThe staff was serviceable and professional. We loved the breakfast that was really diversified and excellent. The beds were comfortable, the clean room.We didn't like the shower arrangement. The level was badly designed, The shower water flowed into the bathroom. We enjoyed the sauna in the bathroom and the boiler in the room as well as the heating box for clothes. We had a room in the reception bathroom and above all on the The motorway passage, so a little noisy.
GGuest UserIt was not a very smooth check in initially. Was locked out of the room on one of the nights when returned back to the apartment. Had to call the unlock. Though the response was fast, still it should not happen in the first place.
