„The hotel itself isn't bad. Just don't stay in room 205. Let me share my personal experience: our family arrived late that day, and it was almost 11 PM by the time we checked in and got to the room. I was unpacking my luggage when my wife went into the bathroom and found bloodstains all over the wall, from top to bottom. Coincidentally, the front desk guy came to deliver disposable towels, so we asked him what was going on. He was also shocked when he saw it, stammering that the cleaning staff might not have cleaned properly, but he confidently assured us that there was nothing wrong with the room. It was too late then, and we didn't want the hassle of changing to another room (we were tired from walking). Plus, even though I didn't go into the bathroom to look, I guessed it might have been caused by a mischievous child from the previous occupants splattering red paint on the wall, nothing serious, so we decided to stay. Then my wife said she used the showerhead to rinse off the bloodstains. After dinner, my wife and child went to bed first. I lay in bed playing with my phone until past midnight, then prepared to sleep. So I went to the toilet to pee and took a closer look at the wall – I didn't see any bloodstains. I thought to myself that my wife must have scrubbed it pretty clean (but later my wife told me that no matter how hard she scrubbed, she couldn't get rid of the bloodstains on the lower half of the wall. So why didn't I see any bloodstains on the entire wall then?). Afterwards, I lay down and struggled to sleep due to altitude sickness, probably falling asleep around 2:30 AM. As I drifted off, a huge green and black vortex suddenly appeared in my dream, conveying a message to me through consciousness: “You're finally asleep” (it really wasn't like a typical dream conversation, but an instantaneous transmission of consciousness!), and then it enveloped me instantly (in the dream, I was a small white sphere), and then I knew I was being controlled. Before my brain (consciousness) could even consider how to react, my body suddenly reacted, frantically cursing loudly and kicking and punching. My wife heard the commotion, jumped out of bed without bothering to put on her shoes, and desperately shook and shouted to wake me from my nightmare, and then she shook me awake... Of course, this might just have been a nightmare I had due to altitude sickness or lack of rest. But there are two mysteries I still can't explain: (1) Why could my wife and the front desk guy see the bloodstains on the wall, but I couldn't? (2) In previous dreams, if I ever spoke a word or moved my body, I would immediately wake up. But this time, my consciousness was very clear, but my body simply couldn't wake up. It relied entirely on external intervention (my wife's vigorous shaking and shouting) to pull me out of the enveloping vortex. And my wife later told me that in all our years of marriage, she had never seen me curse so loudly or kick and punch with such intensity while sleeping. The hotel owner, reading this, must be thinking, “Which competitor sent this person to screw with me?” Don't jump to conclusions yet. I suggest you do the following: (1) Go to the bathroom in room 205 and see if there are any bloodstains on the wall. If you can't see them, it means your probability of being “affected” is quite high. I recommend you stay in that room alone for one night (make sure to sleep on the bed next to the bathroom); (2) Check the surveillance footage around room 205 at 2:35 AM on July 31st. I was screaming at the top of my lungs in my dream at that time, and I believe everyone around could hear it; (3) Check the surveillance footage around 3:20 AM. That's when my family hurriedly packed our luggage, murmuring 'Namo Amitabha', and fled room 205 in a panic (we drove straight into Tacheng Town and found a newly opened hotel). Attached image 1: After escaping the “effect,” I canceled the order for the next day at 2:54 AM (Duh, I just wanted to run away at that point, who would dare to stay another day!). Attached image 2: This is a diagram of the bed placement in the room, using an official promotional image of the corresponding room type (we ran in such a hurry that night, I didn't dare to take pictures of room 205, afraid of capturing “bathroom guy” and having him follow us, which would be a huge problem!). Attached image 3: Shortly after entering the room that night, my calf was cut by the sharp corner of the bed frame, leaving a large gash (a greeting gift for “bathroom guy”?). This is a picture after it had scabbed over. Note: The above is purely my personal, genuine experience and feelings, without a single lie.”

„Bosses and staff were caring with my altitude sickness. Great, friendly and convenient services like laundry for free at the rooftop with a beautiful view on the Potala Palace, helping out with food orders & car pick-ups and drop-offs, various trip arrangements, luggage storage and so on. The hotel has a nice authentic architecture with a big lounge area and cool temperature inside. They have a heating blanket, humidifier and if needed, also oxygen. Located just off the main road which offers quiet sleep at night. Surrounded there are eateries, fruit shops and nice traditional alleys to walk to both well-known and local places. I extended my stay and returned for another night after a trip.”

„When we travel, some places feel like just lodging, and some instantly feel like home. Let’s get the obvious out of the way first — waking up to a direct view of the Potala Palace from your bed, soaking in a full-sized bathtub, and relaxing on the viewing deck. That’s probably why you clicked into this property anyway. But what truly makes this homestay special is the people. This is a place where no one feels like a stranger. We hung out with the staff and other guests at the front desk, learned to make handicrafts, shared drinks, and chatted until late into the night. A special shoutout to the boss, Mr. Zhou, for creating such a welcoming and unique place. We came as tourists, and we left as friends.”
