The hostel was a little challenging to find at first. It doesn't stand out, but once you're at the door, it's clear you're at the right place. Staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and quiet. The bed and room was comfortable.

It was a good stay. I'm looking forward for future stays. It is comfortable. And clean and suitable for busy travelers and workers. The pods have blue lights for sleep in addition to the white light. Lockers have their own locks . very professional and friendly and respectable staff . The bar is beautiful and they have music nights and gigs sometimes. The location is great and is right next to everything. I was able to show up to work within 5 minutes of leaving. They serve food and drinks. Didn't see any public computers for use. Overall exceeded my expectations

Przyjechaliśmy o 0:30 8-go i chcieliśmy zarezerwować pokój, aby odpocząć, ponieważ zarezerwowaliśmy trzy łóżka w Ctrip, ale przed czasem zameldowania facet w recepcji był wyjątkowo niegrzeczny i nie lubił naszych biednych Angielski standard, wszelkiego rodzaju drobiazgi, naleganie, aby zarezerwować pokój na 7-tym w Internecie i mogłem wybrać tylko godzinę od 0:00 do 12 w południe 8-go. Po dokonaniu rezerwacji zgodnie z jego prośbą nadal mówił: „Zarezerwuj pokój”. Źle, powinienem był zarezerwować pokój 7-go. Wreszcie nie wiem jak działał, ale pomógł nam zarezerwować w systemie trzy łóżka. Zła postawa personelu recepcji

啊啊啊，一定要提前安排訂了啊，臨時真的好貴啊啊啊，環境還不錯的，一樓是公共區域，有廚房提供使用，咖啡可以自己弄，一樓有一個大件兒儲存室（免費但丟失不負責）和一個付費的類似快遞櫃一樣的儲存櫃。房間有獨立的衞浴，還行，浴巾可以租一塊一條，拖鞋沒看到，位置比較方便，去周邊景點和超市都可以。 前台很友好哦，哈哈哈

Great experience staying here. Facilities are new, the self check in and check out is easy (for those tech savvy people, it’s a savoury that I don’t have to wait in line). Great bar and food options, comfortable bed. Usual downfalls like snoring roommates but that’s what you would expect to share rooms. The individual curtains are great, just a slightly too short and the windows can be bright. Noise level is ok, if you are sensitive to noise, make sure to get a room away from the street or bring your ear plug. Breakfast can sound expensive (10-11 euro depending on when you book) but for the price in Dublin and the convenience, it’s a good value. They have basic things like (very basic) filter coffee, tea, orange juice, cold cut meat, cheese, slice bread, apple, fruit salad, Coleslaw, pasta salad, cucumber, tomato, beans, sausage, hash brown, scrambled egg.

Das Zimmer war sauber und die Lage ist gut um Dublin zu Fuß zu erkunden. Der Teppich ist in die Jahre gekommen und das Fenster ließ sich nicht schließen. Das Bad ist sehr klein.

I so much loved the lodge, it was so very clean, the location was so easy as it is just few minutes walk from the Dublin city center, the most amazing part is that the airport bus 41 stops right in front ot the Abbott Lodge so using google map is also very easy. The service is top notch and the reception is 247. Room so clean and the bed is big even with extra bed for kids.

CChithira JojoI had a really positive stay at Gardiner House Hostel — a clean, friendly, and well-located choice for budget travellers in Dublin. 📍 Location The location is excellent — just a short walk from major bus stops, shops, cafés, and walking distance to many central Dublin attractions like Temple Bar, Trinity College, and the Liffey bridges. It made exploring the city super convenient without having to rely on public transport. 🛏 Accommodation & Rooms The rooms were tidy and functional with adequate storage space. Beds were comfortable for a hostel stay, and the linens were fresh. Shared bathroom facilities were kept clean throughout my visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. Considering Dublin can be expensive, Gardiner House Hostel offers excellent value — affordable, clean, and centrally located.

GGuest UserThe hostel is a little bit disappointing, if I’m honest. Pros: -very clean bathrooms -amazing hot shower -location -free locker (deposit required) -keyless -free coffee pods and water The biggest downside is the sleeping pods. They are incredibly squeaky and flimsy, every more you make makes a ton of sound. What does not help is the fact the rooms are pretty much empty apart from the pods, so there is virtually zero sound dampening. I kid you not, but laying in the pod I could hear stomach rumbling of the person in a pod above me. It was very weird and awkward. If you or someone is snoring/coughing- you’re done. The nights were not very sleepless. Additionally, no charging ports worked in my pod and I had to use the kitchen Other cons: -towels and sheets are cleaned, but they are overused. Although washed, they have old stains and are generally worn out If you’re looking for a social hostel - this is not it. There aren’t any common areas (apart from small backyard and kitchen, which are always empty) and the hostel does not facilitate any activities If only the pods were a bit more convenient and a tiny bit more soundproof, it would be much better, but this issue really outweighed lots of positives for me

KKloiaI only have this one photo, but overall I had a good experience with the accommodation. One of the best things about this place is the privacy. Each bed has curtains, so you don’t really have to worry about people seeing you. It made changing clothes very convenient, and I rarely had to make eye contact with others, which is perfect if you’re more introverted. There’s also a light inside the bed area, so you can read before going to sleep, and hooks for hanging clothes, which was useful for items I wore often. In addition, there are personal lockers that can only be opened with a code, which felt secure. The bathroom was also relatively clean. However, the overall quality really depends on the people you end up sharing the space with. It was a bit disappointing to see how much the experience can vary. One night, I heard some strange noises from other guests, which made me feel quite uncomfortable and a bit scared. If you’re lucky with the people around you, this place can be very satisfying. My first night was great, but the second night was not as pleasant due to some inconsiderate behavior from other guests.

GGuest UserA decent women's dorm with curtains, though the sink was a bit clogged and dirty, and no one cleaned it. The booking was clear. I wouldn't dare book a mixed-gender dorm, though, as that only seems to be for foreigners, haha! But the people there were very polite; everyone would give a 'WeChat' or 'Hi' when you met them. Strangers would also help if you asked for directions, which I really appreciated! However, when it comes to money, I feel like it's the same everywhere. I didn't know I needed a ticket to the castle, and I only had 8 pounds left, just enough for the bus. They didn't accept Visa, and without cash, the person just told me to go away! Transportation there is like in China; you can't use Visa, but it's cheaper than in the UK for buses. Glasgow has the most expensive bus fares. For shopping, most chain stores accept Visa, which is convenient. Otherwise, carrying cash is heavy, and those coins are a pain. Youth hostels in London weren't as good; no curtains, and it seemed like a lot of people in one room. I didn't look too closely, so it wasn't clear. Hotels in Ireland are too expensive, so this was an experience, I guess, haha!

GGuest UserGreat experience. The room was clean and smells good when we arrived. They provided the toiletries, utensils, and they have washing machine, tumble dryer, water kettle, and microwave. They have almost what you need. They are very accommodating, and responsive. The location wasn’t too far from all places that we went. We’ll recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to a bar that plays music and has live bands until 2.30am. Our room was on the first floor the side of this, it was not good after a long travel day. The hotel itself was a good location and clean, if you’re going for nightlife I recommend, if you’re going for day drinking and a good nights sleep steer clear!

GGuest UserThis is the 62nd country I have arrived in. The bedding in the room is very comfortable. It is a rare high-end accommodation during the trip. There is a public kitchen. You can go to the Chinese supermarket Rongxingxing to buy seafood. The special seafood is very cheap. You can go to other Chinese supermarkets to buy steak. The price is also very cheap. It costs 280 yuan per kilogram in China and 120 yuan in Dublin. I didn’t know how to use a vacuum cooker at first. Microwave oven, because Chinese people are used to cooking. Later I found out that I soaked the spaghetti in boiling water, cooked it in the microwave for four minutes, and then put in the steak and cooked it for four minutes. Seafood does not take that long. It is 4 euros per meal and I am satisfied. It is a seafood feast. Make it yourself. Every meal I have plus fruit is very cheap, less than 5 euros. Young people eat noodles and bread, and traveling consumes a lot of energy, so they need to replenish energy appropriately.
