I loved staying here!! It had such a great communal vibe to it. One of my favorite memories from traveling Japan is sitting at the low tables in the common area, eating a convenience store dinner and watching baseball on the tv. I was only there 3 nights but it felt like it would’ve been an easy place to settle into for a longer stay. There was a fridge and kitchen, two showers & toilets, laundry, luggage storage, lockers, etc. Very close to the train station. Rooms were clean, I felt like the staff did a great job on the upkeep. I would definitely recommend you stay here. The only thing to be aware of is that the mattresses are really thin so the sleeping surface feels really hard.
Very gracious service and hospitality, but the hotel is just too old. Could hear the neighbor blasting interesting TV programs at 3am through the paper thin walls. Location is fantastic though, right outside the central park.
The whole trip to the destination is still a bit down, but everyone is sticking to it, and as tourists, we are also very suitable for traveling hard! The room is still very lifelike, that is, 2 pairs of rice and a little crowded, the kitchen is a plus, the boss is very intimate to prepare the salt and black pepper, all drinking water, bags, small snacks are very generous, not to mention very bicycles, overall recommendation

Erinomainen. Hiljaiset siistit huoneet, joissa ei arvaisi olevansa kontissa. Polkupyörille kameravalvottu pysäköintikatos iso plussa polkupyörällä matkustavalle. Jos satun paikkakunnalle, tulen varmasti uudelleen.
Cheap youth travel, convenient location, convenient cooking by yourself
Twin room space is well equipped
Separate bathing space and separate toilet
The public bath room on the third floor is large and comfortable, with bath products, but you have to bring your own bath towels / towels / toothbrush and toothpaste.
The public kitchen on the third floor is an open fire gas stove, the pot is not easy to use, it is best to bring your own pan and knives!
There is a parking lot nearby 17:00-9:00 charge 300 ~ really cheap

GGuest UserThis minshuku is located quite near Miyanoura port, the owners are super nice and they have a public bath that is perfect after a trekking day in Yakushima.

二二黃What a surprisingly wonderful old ryokan! Operating for a century, its interior boasts a rich Showa-era charm. It definitely feels historic but is spotlessly clean. The true highlight was breakfast, which unexpectedly featured pork shabu-shabu. The broth was made with genuine, high-quality ingredients, and the yuzu kosho was locally sourced. Paired with the black pork, it was absolutely delicious! 😋
GGuest UserEasy to check in and nice staff. This place has hostel/airbnb/surf shack vibes. It was not super clean but it was not terrible. I booked for one person but trip.com/booking.com booked me for the maximum occupancy (4), so it was more expensive than it should have been. Also, I selected pay at site and used my credit card as a guarantee. This Hotel is cash only, which I paid; however, I haven’t been reimbursed my guarantee from the website. So, I’ve effectively paid eight times what should have as of now. These bookings sites are always trying to scam customers, so I’m sure I’ll have to submit a claim with my credit card. That’s no fault of the hotel though.
TThierry J74The guest house was very clean and the staff very kind and pleasant.
The incredible and very generous Japanese breakfast, enough to be able to hike for a day
So much good from this experience!
TThere’s A World To SeeThis place is incredible, ran by a small operation up in the mountains of Kagoshima. The onsen is something out of this world. Rich with iron and minerals from the mountain, it looks like something akin to a studio Ghibli movie from the outside.
The staff are kind and very helpful and breakfast is a real treat for those who like a traditional Japanese breakfast.
10/10 would highly recommend and stay again.
Also to note as a foreigner with tattoos the staff don’t seem to mind so much and my entrance to the baths was permissible. That may be helpful to know.
GGuest UserVery convenient location if you are looking to explore kirishima natural park. The room is big compared to janaese standards. Free parking on the premises and the breakfast is also very good. The room is ok, it has been remodeled, good place to rest after a long hike. There is a very nice onsen nearby.
The best point of this place was the person in charge, he was very diligent and kind to our every need. Rapidly responding to any doubts.
GGuest UserThe room was very relaxing and I feel that the quality of the hot springs was also effective for skin roughness. I spent a little hurry, but I really wanted to spend more time in the room while looking at the ferry.
The clothes in the hall were also prepared for each size of the original 々 room, but I felt very kind to prepare a small size for my 々 small parents and children.
Even if you stay without meals, there is an A-corp nearby, so it is quite easy to get food from Kagoshima such as Campach (sashimi). I bought Chiran tea here as a souvenir.
The only thing that's really unfortunate is the laundry facilities. Both washing machines and dryers are cheap at 100 yen (payment at the hot spring reception), but they are very ordinary home appliances, and the dryer is certainly 200 yen and does not dry even if it turns for nearly an hour. It is said that it should not be turned for more than an hour, and it can't be helped by raising it with half drying ... It doesn't matter if the price is high, so I hope you will consider introducing a washing dryer for commercial use.
But other than that, I really really liked it.
I will definitely go to stay again.
Mm_s05It is a little far from Ibusuki Station.
Guests staying at Kokoro no Yado can use the neighboring Kokoro no Yu baths as many times as they like, but the baths are open until 10pm, so I thought the bath times were shorter than at other hot spring inns.
There are a wide variety of baths, including a jacuzzi and sauna in the indoor bath, a tub bath, a bath where you can use a mud pack, and a carbonated spring where you can watch TV.
None of the baths were too hot, so I liked that I could take my time in them.
On the first day, I had dinner at the inn, and on the second day, I had dinner at the restaurant attached to Kokoro no Yu, and I was satisfied with both.
I recommend the Satsuma gozen and seafood bowl at the restaurant!!
The breakfast didn't change much even after staying for several nights, and only the grilled fish and small dishes changed a little, so I would have liked it if there had been a little more variety. The taste was delicious!
The price is very reasonable and you can enjoy a variety of baths, so I would like to stay here again when I come to Ibusuki.
Thank you!
