2-Star hotele w: Penang, Malaysia

At first, I was quite shocked by the room I was given because it had not been cleaned yet. The room was dirty and the bed linens hadn’t been changed. I immediately informed the staff about the situation. After I told them, the staff explained that the room was actually not supposed to be given out due to an air-conditioning issue, and that was why it hadn’t been prepared. They then moved me to another room. Overall, the replacement room was clean, comfortable and in good condition. The staff were very responsive and cooperative in solving the issue. Although the stay started off poorly, the staff’s quick action helped improve the overall experience.

Sleep Box Penang is a great, comfortable place to rest. The place is very clean, including the shared toilets, and the bedding is cozy. The front-of-house staff are friendly, helpful, and informative. There’s also a washing machine and dryer with detergent provided—woohoo! The air-conditioning is strong, and the location is super convenient, with most places within a 10-minute walk or drive. Plus, there’s an amazing cookie shop nearby called CookieCrumbs that smells incredible

I am so pleased with the cleanliness of this hotel! It's perfectly located for me as I needed to be at a church just 5 mins walk away. And it's walking distance to Chulia STreet, Kimberly Night Market, Chowrasta Market and all the good food in Penang. The hotel provides drinking water bottles but you can also fill up from the dispensers at the lobby. Thumbs up! There's also a nice convenient store right next door, called RoonChit. For those who travelled by car, there is a nice basement car park. Not sure how many lots there are.

3 bathrooms are shared with other occupants.If you stay upstairs, u have to go down to the ground floor to take shower or nature call. It is self service (no receptionist). Enter hotel lobby with password. No hotel card, enter room by keying in password. Fridge, utensils, water dispenser, plates are provided and shared with other guests at ground floor.

I booked the balcony room for 2 night The first night I got the balcony room but it was so small. But gratefully I can change for the second day. So next time u book a balcony room, make sure to book room no. 205 Bigger and the bathroom has a huge door to the balcony as well. The location is soooooo convenient. Bus no. 101 and 102 literally stop next to the hotel. The other bus line is just a 5 minute walk. Many street food nearby

這次真的撿到寶了 🏨✨ 開箱一間性價比超高的酒店！ 房間大到有點誇張 😂 ✔️ 兩張雙人床 + 兩張單人床 ✔️ 還有沙發、冰箱 ✔️ 重點是有一個超大的廚房！感覺可以直接住下來😆 📍地點也很方便 附近景點幾分鐘車程就到，去哪都不麻煩～ 我在 Trip.com訂的 而且評分還蠻高的，真的很值得！ 當然也有一點點小缺點🤣 早上會有“天然鬧鐘”🐔叫你起床 還有水管偶爾有點聲音～ 整體來説，這個價錢真的很可以了👍 會考慮再住一次！

I live in a girls' dormitory, everyone has a sense of boundaries, and I will not talk noisy at night. At 11 o'clock in the evening, the lights are turned off on time, and the bar street is downstairs. The sound is ordinary and the music will be heard at night. It is very safe here, every room is equipped with a code lock, and everyone has quality and courtesy. The room is windowless and will have a little smell, but the indoor air-conditioning is open for 24 hours (the air-conditioning temperature can be adjusted), and it will be a bit cold at night. The bed is super single size, you can sleep 2 me, the space is large, the mattress is comfortable, there is no depression or anything, the light next to the bed can adjust the brightness, each bed is equipped with curtains, so it will not disturb others' sleep. The room is equipped with WiFi. There is no air-conditioning in the hall, there are fans, hot and cold water dispensers, disposable cups, coffee, dishes and tableware. The toilet is clean, with shower gel and water heater, but no hair dryer. It is a bit inconvenient that after someone checkout the bed, a male employee will come in at 12 noon that day to change the sheets and clean, but they will not disturb us, I will pull the curtains. Overall very satisfied, the price is cheap, 15 minutes walk after getting off the train, the seat is biased, it is convenient to go anywhere, will come again next time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

設施：房間很大很寬敞，餐桌在單獨的一個房間裏。熱水器和電吹風都可以正常使用，非常方便。裝修也很有風格，應該是有用心設計過 衞生：民宿的話沒有説每天打掃，但是整體來看非常ok的，進入大堂要拖鞋，地面和牆面應該刷過防水漆，感覺挺乾淨的。毛巾的話可能是消毒水的味道吧，味道有點熟悉又陌生。。。 環境：挺好的，就是靠近馬路的房間會比較吵，但是一般晚上1點左右就沒車了。這個民宿的位置很不錯，周圍找吃的坐公交很方便，出門左手走一走就是新世界小吃街，右邊走一走就是潮汕街 Kimberly夜市，有很多吃的還有按摩店，靠近警察局，晚上比較安全 服務：挺好的，在線客服基本有求必應的。有一天我的摺疊雨傘被其他住户誤拿了，跟酒店這邊説了一下很快就找到拿我傘的住户，住户送上了巧克力表達歉意，酒店額外贈送了一份作為聖誕禮物

When on to a vacation in Penang and choose to stay at Yan Hotel, 1st of all about this hotel is the strategy of this place which is very convenience and neraby to almost all the tourism attraction restaurants. The price also reasonable for room space given. There is only one issue is the placement of the aircond is not on the correct way of air flow as the bed is place on one side and the the aircond was fixed towards the other direction. So it not helpful or feel comfortable. This issue hope the management can fix.. since they upgrading and renovating the hotel this should be helpful for them to take notice. Overall a good stay there all the staffs are good and helpful except one chinese guy wear specs was so rude and no manners at all to behave towards customers.
