I stayed here before my pilgrimage. It's in an old building, so it has a nice atmosphere. There are no towels. There was shampoo and shower gel, but there was very little left so I couldn't use much.

Día lluvioso que hizo mi llegada a Oporto ver una ciudad muy triste pero seguía siendo increíblemente bonita. Susana, la persona encargada del Hostel a mi llegada, fue lo mejor de la estancia, amable, sonriente, me hizo el recordar que, aunque haya días así, el sol siempre está. Repetiré sin duda. Recomendación: llevar tapones siempre: escoger una habitación femenina par evitar los ronquidos es una ilusión. Nosotras también roncamos😂

It's well-organaized hotel near a big shopping mall in Porto. Stuff are specially kind. I felt there are something more than the price. If you are tourist who lack of time, it might be better to choose the accomodation located in the center of the city. However, If you have time, this hotel must be one of the good option. I visited not only major tourist spots in Porto but also I welt the fish port market town Matosinhos 20 min metro ride from this hotel and enjoy the seafood there.

Lokalizacja hotelu jest najlepsza! To jest w odległości spaceru od stacji metra i znanego targu spożywczego. Ulice otaczające hotel są pełne sklepów i restauracji i łatwo łączą się z kultowymi miejscami (sprawdź zdjęcia, które załączyłem). Nie zapominajmy o oszałamiającym, ozdobionym mozaiką kościele, który znajduje się naprzeciwko hotelu. Gorąco polecam.

First of all, the staff were amazing—very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and the amenities were perfect. I honestly enjoyed my time in there.

WWestopiaFantastic location and large common area, with inclusive breakfast and a welcome drink at their downstairs bar! The domitory is clean with all the facilities you would need, and the staff are all very nice! There are hot water in both the shower and the sink, which I really appreciate. If they could provide hair-dryer in the dorms it would be perfect, right now you can only borrow one from the reception, and you might not br in luck if someone else has taken it.

GGuest UserLocation was good: close to Casa da Musica and the main Boa Vista roundabout. The apartment was clean and big enough for a couple nights of stay. The only issue we experienced was the door code system. When we arrived at the property on the first day, the main entrance door was open, exposing the building to theft. On the second day, we couldn’t open the main entrance door using the code provided. (The code worked on the first day.) We messaged the operator using their platform and received no reply. We called the operator but nobody answered the phone. Since it was raining, we walked to Casa da Musica to shelter ourselves from the rain. Then the operator called back and asked us to send a video of what happened of the door code. Since we left the building, we couldn’t take the video. Then they agreed to look into it. They sent us a reply saying that we refused to comply by sending a video. They subsequently asked us to ignore the message and said it was their internal communication and was sent to us by mistake, but it showed that they didn’t understand why we didn’t want to walk back to the building in the rain to take the video they requesed. After an hour of us raising the issue with them, they finally sent someone to open the main entrance for us. The person said the entrance code issue was not new! It was a very bad experience and we wasted an hour. We would seriously reconsider staying in a place managed by this operator.

GGuest UserI stayed at Pensao França Hostel and overall had a good experience. The hostel is clean, although the room size is quite small, which is typical for backpackers. They provide both small and large towels, as well as body soap and hand soap. There was a slight urine smell when I first arrived, but it disappeared after the bathroom was used. The bathroom has a shower with both hot and cold water available. The room is also equipped with a fan. A microwave and an electric kettle are available for shared use on the second floor. The hostel has three floors and no elevator. The owner lives on the second floor and is very kind and friendly to talk to. Since the hostel is located near restaurants and bars, there can be some noise from outside. However, once the windows are closed and especially when you are tired, it is not too disturbing. The location is very convenient, as it is within walking distance of Porto city center.

GGuest UserThe room was very satisfactory. Clean and comfortable. There is free parking. It is very convenient. The breakfast variety is quite rich. I always book this hotel on business trips. The price-performance ratio is very high. I would recommend it.
