To mój ulubiony hostel.

The location of the motel was good. Easy to find and get to. The rooms were clean and the air temperature was comfortable when we walked in the room. The rooms are nice sized. The breakfast that is included was good.
HHendrick2952I stayed in the hotel for one night to catch an early flight. It is a chain hotel with standard configuration. But the surprise is that the hotel has a direct link to the airport. The shuttle bus runs every half an hour, which is very convenient for people who are catching a flight. The hotel is located near Chicago O'Hare Airport. There is no so-called shopping experience.
GGuest UserStayed for 3 nights - checked in on a Friday afternoon and out on a Monday morning. Got the ADA room and was mostly okay with it (I never turn down a walk-in shower), but was put off by the fact that there was nowhere to hang clothing and nowhere to place toiletries in the bathroom. Luckily I didn't need to hang anything, but this would have been a problem if I'd brought dress clothes. As for where to put toiletries, I ended up placing the portable shower seat next to the sink and using that surface. Hopefully the seat had been cleaned sometime between someone having their bare butt in it and me using it as a shelf. For the life of me I can't figure out why people design hotel rooms without bothering to know if they'll actually work for staying in. I also wasn't thrilled with the ”breakfast” on offer. Engineered ”omelet” and packaged, processed junk is NOT breakfast. There was absolutely nothing healthy on offer other than fruit - which was the stuff the grocery store didn't want. The good things about the hotel include staff truly striving to satisfy the customer, a clean room (including the carpet), a location within walking distance of many of Quincy's major attractions, and plenty of parking. But the parking lot itself badly needs repaving (it poured one afternoon and my feet and shoes were soaked because of the rivers running through the parking lot). In any event, there are some improvements that could be made, but I enjoyed my stay overall and would put the hotel on my list of places to stay should I return to the area in the future.
GGuest UserI was in Schaumburg for a 2 Day conference and chose to stay at a more cost effective location since I was traveling alone and really just needed a decent place to stay.
Upon arrival, I was greeted and given my key cards. I drove towards the side door as it was closer to the
elevator. Not the hotels fault I guess, but people were smoking in areas I know weren’t designated for smoking.
The 2nd floor ***** of ***. I am grateful it wasn’t coming from my room, however: the assigned room did not smell clean at all. I did bring cleaning sprays from home just in case, the room wasn’t clean. I had to wipe the counters , desk and sink top off. They were dirty and sticky to the touch. I was going to ask for staff to come up and check the room but decided not to do that.
The next morning I went to the front desk to ask that
Housekeeping not clean until I left. Front desk staff was on the cellular device and I had to get his attention. He was nice and courteous but told me that rooms were cleaned once per week. Guess that’s why my assigned room smells the way.
While I am an avid dog lover, the dogs coming out the exit when I tried to enter were huge. This gentleman had two and could hardly control them.
Nevertheless, you get what you pay for so I can’t be too upset. I just don’t recall this chain being so lax about the amenities, staff professionalism-and cleanliness.
GGuest UserGood location within walking distance of Litchfield attractions. I appreciate that the place was fairly clean, although the cigarette burns on the vanity top were a real turn off. I also had a problem with stepping into the bathtub to take a shower - the floor of the tub was so slippery that my foot slid back and the only thing that prevented a bad fall was my other leg slamming against the side of the tub to arrest the fall. I was very nervous the entire time of taking a shower. The hotel needs to do something about this dangerous safety issue. It's basically a bare bone establishment that offers minimal amenities, which I'm normally happy with. But... Sadly, when I checked in with a prepaid reservation, the desk clerk tried to put me in a room that had no refrigerator or microwave. I had just double-checked the reservation that morning to ensure I would have the conveniences I needed, and the clerk informed me that fridges and microwaves were only available with ”Queen Deluxe” rooms. BS. The clerk was at least smart enough to put me into another room that had what I was paying for, but I did not appreciate his attempt to con me.
GGuest UserSearched for a motel that was 'pet friendly' and had other features that included a reasonable price for the night. This motel came up and I booked it. There was NOTHING online related to there being any 'pet fee'. Upon check-in, the attendant asked if I had dogs and I responded, 'yes, I have 2...a 40# and an 8#. She then went on to tell me $35/each. I questioned this and she said 'policy'. I asked for a manger, was informed she would be there at 7, and when I came back at 7:30, I was told, 7 the next morning. I spoke with manager in the morning and the manager also stated 'policy'. I asked if we could split it ($35 would still have been too much). I asked if it was their policy to have happy guests and she replied 'yes', then I said she violated policy. My Reasonable $109 room, ended up costing me almost $200 when $70 pet fee was added. I have in the past paid $20 for my dogs, but this is ridiculous! I will NOT be staying with this chain going forward. I should have brought my dogs to the breakfast buffet so I could at least have gotten something for my money.
