Świetny stosunek jakości do ceny. Obsługa pozostawiała wiele do życzenia.

Dobra cena. Przeciętne śniadanie i smak. Przestronny pokój. Przyjazna i pomocna recepcja. Przyjdę ponownie. Mniejsze ciśnienie wody w prysznicu w pokoju normalnym w porównaniu do pokoju deluxe. Przeciętny kanał telewizyjny (proponowana aktualizacja do smart TV)

Came here specifically for the 'Hilton' name, haha. When traveling, it's always better to stick with brands you're familiar with. The room was decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine. Breakfast had a good variety of options, and there was even a server who showed you to your table. As for the location, it's right next to a famous internet-famous restaurant, but as an introvert, I didn't bother waiting in line. Guess I'll save that for my next visit, haha.
Jeden w hotelu Manukan to mały zielony pawilon.

Kelner podszedł do brzegu i poprosił nas o jedzenie.

Check in was simple and straightforward. Room was very spacious and clean. Room equipped with an induction stove and microwave. However, some of the cooking equipment needs to be refreshed and should be more thoughtful (i.e. providing metal spatula and a non stick pan will only leave guests to scratch the non stick).
Nonetheless, the hotel is well located, very near the airport and close enough to the city. Nearby shops at the nearby shopping complex is decent. Appreciate the view from the pool and rooftop.
I recently stayed at Borneo Beach Villa, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The villa offers a stunning sunset view right by the beach—absolutely breathtaking and perfect for a relaxing evening. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and peaceful stay.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests, which made the experience even more pleasant. However, one drawback was that the lift at Block B wasn’t functioning properly, which was a bit inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage.
Despite that minor issue, Borneo Beach Villa remains a great choice for anyone seeking a quiet seaside getaway with beautiful views and warm hospitality. The sunset alone makes it worth the visit.

It's a little out of town but I chose it for the close proximity to the beach and swimming ,which is about a 10min walk from the hotel. There are street food and drinks stalls available from about 3pm . Tanjung Aru beach is beautiful, uncrowded and the beach shelves away gently making it a safe swimming area. However, the beach had rubbish washed up and maintenance isn't a priority I guess. I swam everyday and didn't get sick ,that's a bonus.
The room ( the whole place)was tired looking, it could do with a lick of paint and maintenance. Room was clean when I got there but I strongly doubt it was cleaned in the entire time I was there for five days. Often had to ask for toilet paper , shampoo and shower gel , and coffee sachets etc ,basics to be stocked whenever housekeeping does their cleaning. Air con worked for me although the settings couldn't be altered !
The bed springs creak and you feel the springs when you sit on the bed but I slept ok only because I was usually exhausted from the day's activities . The beds and mattresses definitely need renewing though.
The fridge was mouldy and smelly , what a blooming shame : /
The safe was broken - hallelujah!
I kept my room door locked at all times only because Reception staff hardly looked up to see who comes and goes- they sit very low, almost out of view at their front desk. I wasn't convinced about their perception of safety especially as I'm a solo female traveller and I need to be alert and take great caution.
Casuarina Hotel are you taking note?
Reception is helpful but that depends who is present.
Lifts work fine without too much of a wait. The cafe on ground level serves an American breakfast but I couldn't tell you whether that's worth your while. It looked like Mary Celeste everytime I peeped in there so wasn't convinced about getting fed or a service. Therefore, I had fruit and snacks as standby .. There's a lovely restaurant a few yards from the hotel called the Yolo Seafood Restaurant which tends to open from 11.30am- delicious and inexpensive with friendly staff.
Grab taxi fare to city centre varies from MYR 7- 25 Ringgit ,the higher tariff if returning during commuter rush hours from city centre which is a 15- 25 min ride .
Would I stay here again ? I would actually knowing all its idiosyncrasis compared to so many awful or simplly mediocre accommodation charging an arm and a leg , I think Casuarina is just ok . Value for money? I don't think so .

W recepcji powiedziałem, że to właśnie zarezerwowaliśmy później ponownie przeczytałem komentarze i zrobiłem zrzut ekranu zdjęcia z recenzji, aby ponownie potwierdzić, kiedy je zarezerwowałem.

Had a wonderful Christmas Eve stay here. I stayed in a golf field view room, which was incredibly peaceful and calming. Even with the golf field view, I could still see parts of the ocean, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. I spent some time at the pool and was able to enjoy a stunning sunset from there as well, overlooking the pier by the beach — it was truly an amazing view.
I ordered room service during my stay and was very impressed with how prompt and friendly the service was. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed relaxing in the bathtub after a long day. Overall, everything felt calm and well taken care of, making it a perfect stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

CChanger YipI chose this hotel because it's the closest to the beach with the best views, perfect for sunset watching, and indeed, the sunsets were spectacular! It's also very close to the airport. The room had a fantastic view. While the facilities felt a bit dated, it didn't detract from the overall vacation vibe. There's an ice machine on every floor, which was great for drinks. The heated pool was a nice touch, and the breakfast restaurant was huge with a wide variety of options. Because it's so large, getting from the Tanjung wing to the lobby was a bit of a walk. Also, on the fourth floor, the roof can slightly obstruct wide-angle photos. Overall, it offered a wonderful resort experience, and finding the hotel for Grab pickups was easy.
KKT5009Don't book during the rainy season, don't book during the rainy season, don't book during the rainy season. It's from Sep to Feb. I said 3 times it's important if you don't wanna ruin your holiday. We booked 3D2N in mid Sep. Our holiday turned out to be a staycation nightmare in the resort. We can't do all the water activities neither the jungle trekking. The water heater in our room is not working, we have to shower with shivering cold water in this kind of weather. Lots of big size anta inside the room crawling from the bathroom to the bedroom. Make sure you cleaned up for your snacks and drinks, tie up the garbage bag if you don't want these insects to come to your bed, There is also a landslide happening on our first night, luckily we are not affected as we stayed in the ocean villa. There is only one restaurant in this resort, food prices are the same as SG restaurant pricing, no cheap option here. In room dining needs to pay RM25 extra. Staff service is good but this cannot cover the several run down part of the resort.
LLove CoffeeMy first stay here and I think would be my last too. Was actually requested a quiet room but still giving the room which facing the contrustion site. Noise of the construction site was up to 10pm+ and 5am+ the prayer from the nearby mosque will make you jump!
Impressive with the location but not the room. Furnitures in room quite old but still acceptable, but cleanliness and maintenance was terrible.
1) Water leaks out from shower room to walkway via the wall.
2) Old and dirty toilet with mold
3) Malfunctioning light bulb
4) Stains on the towel ( sticky like chocolate, like unwashed)
5) Ants on table & bed!
6) Loosen door lock
7) Dirty chair

Great
RReeseDI only realized after checking in that this wasn't the ”most beautiful sunset” Shangri-La that's so famous online. This one is outside the city, but it's still a great resort. While the hotel is overall quite dated, the staff are very warm and friendly, and they have a heated pool. You can go to the mountains in the morning to see animals, but remember to book in advance due to limited spots. Most guests are Westerners and Chinese. It's not as photogenic as the other Shangri-La, but it's perfect for a relaxed, leisurely vacation.

くくろねこしろねこ《全力で楽しむ海外旅行》This hotel is conveniently located with restaurants and convenience stores nearby! The room was spacious, allowing me to relax comfortably. I booked an ocean view room, so I could see the sea from the window, but it wasn't directly in front of the ocean; rather, the sea was visible beyond some buildings and a road. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes, and I wanted to eat everything, but of course, I couldn't finish it all. I wished I had another stomach!

AAnonymous UserWe booked a renovated room, supposedly from 2 years ago, but when we arrived at 6 PM, they told us there were no rooms on the second floor, only on the first. They assured us it was the 'best room,' but as soon as we entered, there was a strong musty smell, and the hairdryer sounded like it was about to explode. After watching the sunset and having dinner, we returned to find the room getting hotter and hotter. We then realized the air conditioning was broken. It took three calls to finally get through to the front desk. The maintenance worker spent half an hour trying to fix it with no progress, and then told us we'd have to switch rooms. During all this, the room was incredibly stuffy and hot, almost unbearable. The front desk kept apologizing but only offered an extended checkout or a ride to the city the next day, and we had to decide on the spot what time we wanted to leave. This 'sorry' attitude was really disappointing and quite unbelievable.
The funniest part was that the room they moved us to was on the second floor – the very floor they said had no availability earlier. It was clean, no musty smell, and not hot at all. It makes you wonder who they were saving those rooms for, or if they were discriminating against us.
The hotel environment itself is beautiful and very photogenic, with lots of free and paid activities. Feeding the monitor lizards was fun. However, the front desk's attitude and their handling of issues were consistently poor. Exercise caution if you decide to stay here.
Also, we heard the hotel restaurants aren't great. We ate at the sunset bar, which was enough to fill us up, but you can't order takeout.
LLingbingxueerIt's an older hotel, just like it was 20 years ago. The location is excellent, and the lobby is still grand. However, the room facilities are quite dated, and the beds in the twin room are very small.
**Environment:** You can watch the sunset from here.
**Cleanliness:** The swimming pool and snorkeling area were very crowded and a bit messy.

AAnonymous UserWe were lucky enough to get a room upgrade when checking in, offering a full ocean view. It was absolutely stunning and made me feel like we'd chosen the perfect hotel – a true beachside getaway is exactly what a vacation needs! The room itself was very spacious, and the bathroom was even bigger, cleaner, and brighter than it appeared in the online photos. We arrived late and caught the tail end of the sunset, and it only took a few minutes to walk down to the beach to see it. My friend and I aren't early risers, so we skipped Jesselton Point the next day and instead departed directly from the hotel's pier to Manukan Island. There were plenty of boat times available, and we took the 12:30 PM one. There's a dedicated boat for hotel guests, which also drops you back at the hotel – super convenient. If you want to visit The Magellan, the hotel also provides a shuttle bus. The Magellan is more family-friendly, but if you're looking for better value, The Pacific is definitely the way to go. However, I do have to mention that many of the hotel's facilities are quite old. The showerhead was leaking, and I hope they'll replace it soon.

TTravelwithBamThe staff friendliness is just amzing 10/10. Excellent Service. Our room had amazing view of the sea and opposite resort called Gayana.
Dinner: Only Buffet option is available and its about RM167/person +taxes. The spread are fairly good and it is delicious.
Though they do have 2 more different Restaurant in the island,Japanese and fine dining.
Breakfast: Included in the room price. Menu changes daily.
I have nothing to complaint about the room, for us its comfortable. All rooms have exactly the dane Designs the only difference is where it is located. You are paying for the view.
Activities: For me I think 3 days 2 nights are perfect to spend your time here, swimming by the pool, kayaking, snorkling,Jungle trekking, visiting the private beach. 1 hour complimentary use of snorklinh masks. I like the public guests showers and towel provided.Very convinient.
One thing that I would like to comment is the boat fees are relatively very expansive.15 mins speedboat per person one way cost about Rm80+taxes..Just return trip cost RM170++ per person. This is not even including island conservation fees and tourist fees. All this added fees makes the Hotel cost more expansive. Because a boat trip to nearby or same Island cost only Rm40. GAYANA ECO RESORT provided inclusive/complimentary return boat fees. I hope the Management can improve this because we as Guests are going to spend more money on F&B and at the Bar.
Last but not least I would like to compliment the service and staffs in thsi Resort I think they did such an amazing job. Overalö the Resort is beautiful andclose to the nature.
